At the heart of town right on the beach in Philipsburg you will find the Holland House Beach Hotel. The Ocean Lounge restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate, have a casual dinner overlooking the ocean, relax and sample the cuisine created by the international mix of chefs. The restaurant offers a beautiful evening setting with an open air lounge cool music and boutique style vibe. The bar serves craft cocktails and a wide selection of wines from the Wine Spectator awarded wine cellar. Staff will welcome you with a warm Caribbean smile and courtesy and offer you the lunch or dinner menu full of International, European and local Caribbean dishes like the fresh Spiny Lobsters from the Saba bank. Lovely open air dining on the beach. Food and service were excellent. They had live music at the bar just behind the restaurant area that wasn’t too loud. Give yourself time to find parking and note that at least in May there’s not a direct view of the sunset but it was beautiful and we would definitely go again.

Het eten was heel lekker, maar de porties waren aan de kleine kant. Gangen werden wel heel snel achter elkaar opgediend. Maar verder helemaal prima.

Ocean Lounge was an excellent dining experience. Right off the bat, we noticed the beautiful ambiance with great water views. Our waitress was super sweet and very friendly, immediately saying Happy Anniversary to my partner and I and Happy Birthday to my partner. They even sang for us, twice! The food was delicious. The fish, including the oysters, marlin carpaccio, and grilled seafood entree, was fresh and delicious. Would recommend this!

My dinner at Holland House in Phillipsburg was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment I walked in, I loved the cozy yet elegant atmosphere - it made me feel both relaxed and special. Every bite was incredible, especially the fresh seafood and perfectly cooked steak that I'm still dreaming about. The service was just right too - attentive without being overbearing. The whole experience was so wonderful that I left already planning my next visit, whether to order my favorite dish again or try something new from their amazing menu. This wasn't just another meal out - it was the kind of exceptional dining experience I can't wait to have again.

Our server was very attentive and polite, and took the time to talk to help us through the menu. The lobster was fresh and properly cooked, making it very enjoyable. The filet mignon was of a very good quality, cooked perfectly to temperature, and well worth the anticipation. Food presentation was simple and effective - not over done and pretentious. The lady singing that night had a great voice and the music was quite appropriate for the surroundings and clientele. Of course the view was fantastic, especially as the sun set at the end of the beach. A most enjoyable experience indeed, with value for the spend. We will return.
