   Our waitress Lorraine was exceptional. We forgot to complete the evaluation sheet for her, but she deserved the bonus for excellent service! Food was excellent and the drinks were as well.

   My waitress, Lorraine, was fantastic. She was very attentive and generally knowledgeable! Truly a pleasure. However, I’m sad to say, the dining experience was not as lovely. Firstly, the menu I booked my reservation under was not the menu I was served. I understand seasonal menus, but I was disappointed with the selection and would not have chosen the Chefs Tasting Menu if my reservation reflected the menu I was going to be given. Some sort of alert that I would be receiving the summer menu would have been well appreciated. Second, the up charge for the wine pairing seems a bit sneaky. It is included in the menu on OpenTable but there’s no mention of the $25 upcharge. There is nothing wrong with the price, but I hate the feeling that something was kept from me. Third, I am not a fan of giant decorative orchids, which there were many. The yucca fries were extremely tough and fibrous. My cabbage was raw when it was meant to be stir fried. I did not enjoy the pork. I am not usually so nit-picky, and there were several good things about the dining experience (namely my waitress, the efficient staff, the cheesecake, and the beef skewers) but when paying for a luxury service, I expect a higher performance.

    For a Mother's Day brunch, it was nicely laid out. Unfortunately, many of the selection was low or had been sitting out too long. Disappointing given the price.

    We came her for the Mother's Day Buffet at $72 pp and bottomless mimosas for moms. Let me start with the positives, Sebastian was phenomenal! He greeted us and advised that he would be assisting our waiter. Our waiter came over maybe 20 minutes in after greeting and taking care of the tables around us. Meanwhile, Sebastian made sure our glasses stayed full. At one point I had to ask where to put dirty dishes as the "waiter" did not come to clear them. The shellfish portion and omelet station were good however the other food items were mediocre at best. They did not have condiment dishes for sauces which was a real pain. The view, being with family, Sebastian and mimosas were the best part of this restaurant. I had a great time being with my loved ones however, I will not return here.

    The food was ok - they put sugar in the Pho  which totally threw me off, and I thought was too much and the grouper was a little over cooked. The server was very nice and it’s a nice view.

    Ocean Hai is a must see. The server was kind and prompt. You can dress up or dine in shorts. It has the feel of a 4.5... So far as residents of Clearwater we found a gem. The food is amazing...enjoy

    We had a 6pm reservation. We were running a little late due to traffic and weather. (about 20 minutes) After confirming by automated text that we were on the way Ocean Hai called and basically threatened to cancel our reservation. I explained the weather and traffic had been an issue but they didn't seem to have any empathy. When we got there I sent my wife running in to try not to lose the table. Funny thing is, several tables were open during the entirety of our meal. Server was decent. Not great. Food was ok. Not great. Valets were very nice though...lol. The storm did clear and we got to see a pretty sunset. The setting is nice. My wife and I were the only folks on our check. When the bill was brought we were then informed that 18% was automatically on the tip for the server and another 1% for "the house". So a total of 19% gratuity was already on the bill. Because I believe in tipping well we put some extra money in. But, IMO, the server really didn't earn it. And, I didn't like being notified of the 19% after the meal. Not a bad place if you are in the area and it's easy to get in. But, I wouldn't go out of your way to eat there.

    The appetizer was great. The server Shaun was amazing. The main meal was horrible. Not worth going there at all. I would just go for appetizers next time.

    Food was great. The chef prepared something special for me as I am a vegetarian. It was a vegetable sauté with many different veggies. Service left us thinking why do we need a waiter. Very unfortunate since we like this place a lot. He seemed to have an attitude.

    We love coming to Ocean Hai for holidays. My son loves that they have oysters and sushi and my husband loves all the other options they have. It’s our third visit and we will def be back. Easter bunny was a fun edition for this visit. Even our teenager posed!

    Second visit for a holiday buffet. Generally, it was a good experience as was our first. Only disappointment were the Jonah crab claws were overcooked and the shrimp slightly under cooked.

    Easter brunch was very good. The price for 3 should have been $40 a piece not $65. Because the $65 a piece we payed didn’t include mamosa or any drink package. After paying for that the bill was $250 between 3 people and only two got bottomless mamosa.
