The food, service, drinks and atmosphere were are fabulous! Our wait took excellent care of us, and when I couldn't decide which entree he helped me pick and he helped me make an excellent choice! I had the chicken piccata and my friend had the filet and both were excellent choices! My friend had a drink (Cosmo) with dinner and said it was also great! Our waiter took great care of us, checking on us periodically and making sure we wanted for nothing. I would definitely recommend the Ocean Club!

We shared the beef fillet dinner. It was cooked just the way we wanted the vegetables and potato were done correctly. Our server was excellent. We also enjoyed the band. I don’t remember the name but apparently they are there a lot especially on Wednesday nights.

We had the unfortunate experience of going here on a Wednesday evening, which we found out afterwards was "dance night". When we walked in, we were overwhelmed by very loud music. The noise level was so bad, it was difficult to communicate with the servers, much less to have any conversation with your dinner partner. We were amazed at the teenage like inappropriate public behavior of some of the clientele which definitely averaged at least in mid to late 50's. Overall, I would compare this to a loud, drunken party/wedding reception. Definitely not he place to go for a nice dinner, at least not on a Wednesday evening. To make matters worse, the food was awful. We split the fried green tomato appetizer. It was heavily breaded and fried hard. We each had a grouper entree. One was the Grouper Ocean Club. The other was the Catch of the Day which happened to be grouper in a "light, lemon butter sauce". There was way too much butter and both fish were well overdone. One would think a place called the Ocean Club would be able to not overcook fish. We had a poor rendition of key lime pie for dessert. I have no idea how people give this place such a high rating on Open Table but we will definitely not return. Overpriced, poor atmosphere and lousy food.

Celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary here. I wanted the fried green tomatoes and enjoyed every bite. We both loved our dinners. Our server was fantastic and really engages with patrons. Thanks to Ocean Club!

The food at the Ocean Club is always great. The early bird pricing is a bonus. Our waitress was delightful and efficient. I had brought guests so it was especially great that all of them enjoyed their meals.

Table for 2 & it was our Wedding Anniversary. The choice of table was awkward and uncomfortable. I reached for my pocket & accidentally elbowed the waiters as they passed by. No place for our plates to fit with our cups and glasses and the table salt/pepper. The price was overpriced for basic fried foods & the wine was probably the best part. Restaurant was an option for on the water, but there was no water in sight aside from the pond underneath the restaurant. It was nice to try but won’t choose again.

Our server was excellent, knowledgeable about the food, attentive, and timely. The ambiance of the Garden Room is nice. Relatively quiet away from the "entertainer," although tough when there are babies that are unhappy. The food was not as good as we would have expected. Possibly, with a place this big, we shouldn't have expected too much. My wife had the soft shell crab dish. The topping was excessive, and the pasta with alfredo sauce was slightly under room temperature. Possibly sitting too long waiting for the crab to be done, or just not heated up before putting it on the plate? I had seafood pomodoro. The tomato sauce was quite good, but the scallops and shrimp were overcooked bodering on tough. This is very uncommon down here, where the one thing almost every cook learns is to not overcook seafood. What Ocean Club has going for them, for the patrons who are not quite so fussy, is that they have a two for one entree deal if you order before 6:00 PM, and they have live entertainment each night, and dancing on Wednesday. Suitable for a group that just wants to have fun.

The hostess was extremely rude. Stood there for almost 10 minutes with no one there. We had a reservation for 2. She asked if we would like to be in front of the music or not. I said, “oh, I don’t know. We have never been here before.” The next thing I knew she starting walking off with menus. We followed her but she was walking so fast, we honestly lost her. Then we found her in a back room full of little kids and it was also in a doorway. I then said, “Can we go back in that room” (this was the room were the live music was at). She stated all tables were reserved and this is the only option. I think she stated “it’s this or nothing”. Then she walked off with the menus. We did tell the server what happened, but no one cares. After that, the food was just mediocre and over priced. We should have left right then. We will NOT be returning.

Restaurant was accessible, reasonable parking, seated immediately after using Open Table for reservations, a bit noisy for our tastes, even being seated on the enclosed-porch area away from the live music. Patrons seemed to enjoy the dancing, especially with their toddlers. The quality of food was good with ample portions which arrived within a reasonable time despite being near capacity.

We read several bad reviews before dining here but thought we would give it a shot. Turns out we should’ve listened to the reviews and went elsewhere. It felt like walking back in time entering this restaurant which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. For the value, I’d recommend going anywhere else, especially with children.

The food is ALWAYS delicious at Ocean Club. This time of year when everything is so crowded, it's nice to be able to make a reservation and have a table ready for you when you arrive. Ocean club has GREAT cocktails (try the key lime pie martini) and fantastic food. Our waiter was great and had some awesome stories to tell us! All of the staff is friendly, and when there's live music, the bar area is really festive! There are also tables in other rooms that are very quiet, if you'd prefer!

I have eaten at Ocean Club many times & decided to go again because it was close to our condominium. The food was fine (soft shell crabs were small) but we felt rushed by our waiter even though the restaurant was less than half full.
