Ambiance was great. My reservation was available as soon as I arrived (on time). The food was good. Wife had tuna, I had roasted acorn squash. We felt that there could have been a little more food for the price though. Maybe put a bread on the table in advance of the meal, and include a salad with the entree to fill the table a little more. We'd probably try a few other restaurants before coming back at this point. Probably still working out the "new restaurant" kinks still.

First, our server was outstanding. Very attentive, helpful and great demeanor. The bar was unbelievably slow, so I would recommend walking in with a drink from one of the brew pubs. The food was also very good; I really loved the house cocktail sauce. The main reason for my 3 stars is because my husband and I each had 1/2 doz oysters + appetizer + main course + dessert and it was just barely filling. The portions are very small and there's nothing on the menu to add on to your meal like sides. I guess you could order more apps, but when prawns cost $4 a pop, I'd rather not. Given the combination of portions and price - we will not be back.

The overall atmosphere was cool. Not too loud and packed in. Food was a little on the bland side with the portions being very small for the price. I would pick somewhere else next time since there are quite a few good places near by. Unless the change their menu up, I would only go there for drinks.

The service was very good and food was ok. Seemed overpriced for what you received.
Menu is a little limited. Noise level was high and we were in a side room, not in the open area.
Restaurant design is great !

I would go back for appetizers and a drink.

Went to this restaurant for the first time for Valentine's night. Had a reservation and was seated immediately. Nice variety on the menu. I had seafood and my wife had steak. Both were prepared very well. Enjoyed oysters and lobster bisque as starters. Service was very good. Only minor negative is we were seated near a door to their nice outdoor seating area which was open (had heaters outside) but everyone the door opened, we got a blast of cold air. I actually look forward to going back in warmer weather and sitting in the outdoor space. Would recommend this restaurant to others with no hesitation.

This was our first time visiting Ocean & Acre and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The restaurant is big, airy and casual-elegant. The food was excellent (lobster bisque, clam chowder, lobster roll, fish&chips). Everything came out hot, on time and portions were big and the panna cotta for dessert is a must-have. The service was also amazing. Shout out to our rockstar servers, Bruno and Ryan. You guys are the best. We’ll definitely be back. See you soon!

Beautiful restaurant in the Halcyon development. Perfect for a date night. Great wine list and the cocktails are incredible. The food is fantastic as well. Highly recommended.

The Fish Special was overcooked and cold. Lobster in the lobster roll was not the good part of the lobster meat but rather was the rubbery part of the lobster claw. The Blue Point Oysters were very small compared to other establishments. WILL NOT BE BACK - for price - we spent over $200 for 4 people not worth it all!!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

Food was less than average. Oysters Rockefeller was cold. Lobster bisque was cold. Halibut was fishy. Burger was like a charcoal brick. Overpriced for poor quality dinner.

Love the decor and enjoyed sitting at the bar before our table was ready. The vodka drink with celery juice was sooo good! Our server Patrick was on it. The crab cakes were so different and now our favorite. The lobster bisque was also fantastic. We ordered two other dishes that ended up not being our favorite but will go back and try something else. Overall had a great experience!!

We were sat right away. The waiter was attentive but not knowledgeable. The menus is easy to flip over but the lighting was very dim. We ordered the fish dip for an appetizer to share, it is a nice dip but lacking in a flavor that you would expect. It needed a little something. My wife ordered the blanched halibut.... I had the fish and chips... the thickness of the batter was overwhelming for the fish. The chips were the thin frozen kind fastfood locations sell. Not sure why any one would charge 20.00 for it.
The halibut dish was much better than the fish n chips. The veggie side was quite tasty.
It appears they are still ironing out some kinks.
Bottom line, have a cocktail, an appetizer.

I went after they were open for about a month and everything was amazing. The marrow and snails were so good. Especially the broth they were on. I could have soaked it up all day with bread. This visit the broth tasted bland. I would not order it again. The oysters were very good. Everything else was fine but nothing was amazing. If I was going to hang out at the bar and have some apps I would definitely go again. I would probably choose somewhere else for a special occasion or business dinner.

Blue Point oysters are way over priced at $31 dollars a dozen, when I have had them at similar restaurants at $18 a dozen.

Extremely disappointed after our initial visit and not sure we will give it another chance.
We sat at a table in the bar area and had to wait 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us and before getting water.
The appetizer (clam chowder balls with breading) was so small that it was pretty much a bite per person and it was very average.
Long story short, we left after an appetizer, 6 oysters and 2 drinks and a check of over $50.00

Just ok.... the server brought out our food at wrong times so 2/3 of us had our soup salad first and then we she brought out our meal she dropped off a ‘free’ salad that she didn’t know what to do with (she said the kitchen gave it to her but she didn’t know where to take it so we could have it for free), it was the salad our 3rd guest should have had while we had our soup and salad. We all had the $20 lunch special, which was fine, fine is about the best I can say. Soup wasn’t hot, and very water for a potato soup. My sandwich was very tough. I’ll give it another try one day, but no rush to do so.

Second time dining here. We had 8:15 reservation and arrived 7:50 and checked in with hostess. Got a drink at the bar quickly. We were notified that our table was ready before we had our drinks, so we closed out and were seated. Easy transition. Bartender offered to bring bill to our table. We had a two top with one of us facing the wall. Many restaurants use this seating arrangement and I know it’s used to maximize seating, but I don’t know of anyone that enjoys facing the wall. I had lobster bisque which was delicious. It tasted different than my last visit, but as I said delicious. I was going to try the Halibit since I had the Striped Bass last visit, but I missed out as they sold out for the night. I tried the Burger with salad instead of fries. Burger was flavorful, but I didn’t care for the bun. Anyone planning to try this restaurant should give the mussels appetizer a try. I shared them with my daughters on my last visit. They are quite tasty and can be ordered as a meal in my opinion. Bartenders are talented and can make some great cocktails. I think the outdoor patio and bar is going to be wonderful in nice weather. It’s a beautiful place and friendly service.

First time and Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. Overall server was extremely green. She was not attentive, didn’t check in enough and it felt like she had never served before. The way we were handed our food and drinks was so awkward.
We had to ask for a glass for my bottle of Sparkling water. We were missing silverware.
Food was very average, my friend ordered the cooked oysters, they arrived cold (supposed to be served warm) we told her she took them away, but we were still charged for them, by the time we realized they were still on our check it was too late because he already ran our cards.

They didn’t have an official “lunch menu”, food was fantastic, but pricey. They have a neat outdoor patio area with a fireplace that would make for a great happy hour place post workday.

Will return.

Nice atmosphere but very loud and takes a very long time to get drinks. Food is decent but not amazing for the price. (Limited menu) Put 6 of us crammed to a small table. However I know they’re new and trying to figure things out...which I’m sure they will. Probably won’t go back.

They still are working out the kinks. Service people are obviously not that experienced but were nice. Cocktails with skimpy pours. Food ok but portions on smaller size. I want them to succeed but probably won’t rush back for a while.
