                                      The restaurant is pretty and at sunset the views are great. We both stuck to gluten-free items. The frog legs were over-cooked and needed more flavor. The shrimp was dry but had decent aromatics around it. The potato gratin was pretty good, though the sauce was broken and it could have been warmer. My wife got a steak and the meat was tender but there was no crust on it. The server brought us gluten free bread which was a welcome surprise! Very pretty scenery and you can people watch, but the food is much more expensive than it can justify.

                                      Nuestra experiencia familiar fue excelente, el trato del dueño, el mesonero y la sommelier 10/10. Te recomiendo llegar para ver el sunset, la comida excelente, se siente el orgullo por la comida francesa. Los escargots, el steak tartar, y sobre todo el cordero en larga cocción inmejorable

                                      Beautiful setting watching the sun go down over the ocean. Very good wine list. I had Lamb chops and was excellent. One of the very few French restaurants that have a wonderful souffle.

                                      We ordered Red Snapper for two. They fileted it perfectly at our table. The champagne was made by the restaurant and was excellent. A wonderful Mother’s Day experience.

                                      I visited this restaurant 2 years apart and service was great the 1st time and even better this time around. We showed up ahead of our reservation and were seated immediately which was the first surprise. The 2nd surprise was having the same server from 2 years ago. The service was more seamless this time around. Last time I had the lobster thermidor and thought it was ok. This time , I tried 1/2 flambeed and 1/2 grilled. I preferred the grilled with drawn butter. Onion soup is fantastic. Nothing better than watching the sunset with a balmy ocean breeze while also indulging in some gastronomic pleasures.

                                      We had a great dinner at ocean 82 recently. There were four of us, and we ate very well – salads, foie gras, onion soup, lobster, whole snapper, soufflés and profiteroles. This is a lovely restaurant and the staff are great!

                                      First of all the environment and the view are spectacular. Our waiters were very attentive and very kind. The salad was very good. The shrimp tempura was nothing special, but it was good. I had the sea bass and my husband had the lobster fettuccine. His was very good, though the portion was rather small. My sea bass was an extremely small portion and had many fish bones in it. As far as seasoning, that lacked as well. It was a huge disappointment for something that I was really looking forward to having. Chilean sea bass from Bonefish grille is far superior to the sea bass I received. The bread was just OK. The crème brûlées was very good. The vegetable side dish as well as the rice were just so-so. I had far superior vegetables and rice at Ranch del Sol earlier in the day for lunch. Overall the price for this experience was outrageous and not at all worth it. We will be back to the island, but we will not be dining again at Ocean 82.
