Ocean 7 is nestled within the Inn of Cape May and offers an elegant and classical seaside dining experience for locals and travelers alike. The venue is styled in Victorian fashion, allowing guests to be enriched in history as they dine on seasonal comfort fare. Plan a romantic dinner with cuisine such as baked brie, margherita pizza, pan fried grouper, filet mignon, broiled salmon, pasta primavera and more.

Food was good and our server was cordial and doing his best job. Unfortunately they also had a large party which made our food delivery very slow. But menu items and specials were very good.

Honest review, family's with children should sit in back while adults should sit in main dining area.... if you know 1 dinner out of 4 is going to take longer, dont over cook the other 3. And if your out of something you should know before the order is put in.

The bar was great. The dining room not so much. The service was not very good. The food was mediocre. I would not go back to have dinner there ever… maybe drinks at the bar. We were told our bread was in the oven but it must still be there because we never got it!

We had to walk through a crowded bar because the door to the restaurant wasn’t marked. Not a great feeling to make TEENAGERS walk through a bar. Then we get seated and it’s loud! The waitress for the table next to us is literally sloshing alcoholic beverages on her way to their table. We sat for ten minutes with no server, no greeting, no water, nothing. The prices at this place are ridiculous when accompanied by literally zero service. Table of 4 sitting with no drinks, clearly annoyed, and not one staff member stopped by the table. I tried to get the hostesses attention but it was so loud, she couldn’t hear me yelling for her. Several staff made eye contact with me while I tried to get them to come over - nothing. We walked out and the hostess just gawked at us. When I said “no one came to the table for 10 mins”, she just muttered to the employee next to her about whose table it was. No apology. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I would recommend staying far away from this one. Absolutely HORRENDOUS.

Very nice restaurant. After many years of visiting Cape May, this was our first time at Ocean 7. Great booth, service and food. Some unusual dishes. Tried cobia for the first time., a very tasty fish. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We have been here before and it was great but this year the food was not good and the service was awful. Also, there was a party of 15 with screaming children, they were running around and screaming for a solid hour. Ruined an already mediocre dinner. VERY disappointed. We will not return, there are too many other great options in Cape May.
