   Dining room closed, ate in the bar -- but paid dining room prices, of course. Meat overcooked but I that point just trying to salvage the night with friends. Disappointed, will not return. Could have been so much better.

   My husband and I had a wonderful meal and enjoyed our time spent at this restaurant in Neptune Beach. We were warmly greeted and seated in the main dining area which included the bar area. We were entertained by Taylor Roberts, a very talented musician. He even played my requested music from Big Little Lies theme song. He nailed it. We had a delicious appetizer of beef tips and our cocktails and entrees were even more delightful. We finished our evening with the Chef’s special layered butter cake. Amazing! Jacky our waitress was great! Thank you!

   We were 5 women who had requested the Dining room in order to have a nice QUIET get together. Everything was going good, Nick was taking very good care of us, then a group of 13 crowded around the small bar( which holds 5), some standing up against our table. We told the hostess to please move them to the big Bar area. The Manager apologized but took no action. So our evening was basically ruined while we yelled at each other and moved our seats as close together as possible. We all live near by and eat there frequently, but this might be our last attempt. Nick our waiter was awesome, the food good, but the crowded, noisy dining room was awful especially since the big Bar area had plenty of room to handle this group of young professionals that had no idea of their impact. We finally mentioned to them, they apologized and moved to the other room.

   Enjoyed eating at Ocean 60 Saturday night with a group of friends. Service was excellent, the food was excellent - definitely try the grilled meatloaf!! - and the martinis are awesome - we had a pumpkin martini and a butterfinger martini for dessert - definitely the highlight!! Great location near the beach and around the Atlantic Beach nightlife.

    Ocean 60 is THE best restaurant at the Beach. The combination of great food (amazing salads, wonderful entrees, an incredible martini menu), excellent service, and an atmosphere that embraces Beach liveliness without drowning out the ability to have a conversation, is unparalleled.

    My husband and I were long overdue for a date night and Ocean 60 was exactly what we needed. We sipped cocktails and shared the escargot appetizer. I started with the green goddess salad, while he chose the blue cheese wedge. The salads were fresh, crisp and flavorful. For entrees we selected the featured catches. My trigger fish was light, perfectly cooked and the Mediterranean seasoning was delicious. My husband’s autumn flounder dish stole the show - wonderful textures and flavors served over perfectly prepared wild rice. Ally’s service was attentive and helpful. As tempting as dessert looked, we will have to wait for next time and save room. I’m already looking forward to next time. Cheers!

    Ocean 60 has been a neighborhood gem since it opened. The martini bar has a sophisticated and friendly atmosphere. The dining experience has always been excellent. However, on my last two visits the quality of the food has been poor on both occasions. One of my favorite dishes is their chicken piccata. The chicken had always been juicy and covered in a beautiful butter and lemon sauce.. On both of the last two occasions the chicken was overdone and tough and the sauce had a gel-like consistency. I understand the restaurant was bought last year and that it had lost some of its best bar staff to the new neighboring restaurant COOP. I’m not sure if the chef has also been replaced, but something has definitely happened in the kitchen. Additionally, we waited one hour for our meals. The server was very attentive and provided the best service she could but the kitchen needs to be corrected. Word seems to have gotten out about the decline in food quality as it was easy to book a last minute reservation at this usually crowded restaurant which was only 75% full on a Friday night. I hope they can fix the chef issues as I would hate to lose one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

    new ownership and it shows. seating during the week only in the bar area. they no longer have their bread guru.....thats a bad move. menu with limited choices, portions seem smaller. overall its losing its mojo in a highly competitive restaurant area.

    We have always enjoyed eating here but this time was most unpleasant. It was obvious to us that we were eating leftovers. There was a large party in the other room so we hope they had better food than we did. Will not return.

I talked with each of the servers and nothing was said to them or to a manager. FYI, all vegetable products are bought fresh daily. All seafood products are also fresh every few days. All beef is certified angus beef never frozen.

    Great food. The Beach Bake is outstanding consistently on every visit. I can't get past that entree. Our service was perfect. Loved our bartender so much we went back for a Chocolate Martini that was just divine. Always a great evening at Ocean 60.

    My wife and I have had several pleasant experiences at Ocean 60, whether just popping in for a drink, stopping to listen to music, or enjoying a leisurely dinner. On this particular visit we were celebrating our anniversary, and my bride did not know that I had alerted the staff. The hostess and server indeed made us feel like royalty on our special occasion, and that just made the evening that much more enjoyable. Our dinners were excellent! My wife had the warm spinach salad with fresh shrimp added, and I had a beef wellington appetizer and a vegetable pasta dish. Ocean 60 has a diverse menu that changes regularly, but you can always count on the quality of the presentation and the food itself. Staff members have always been friendly and attentive no matter when we visit, or for what purpose. Fancy meal, small bites or just beverages--it's the rare combination of high-roller quality with reasonable prices and relaxed environment. It's the type of place where you may feel like dressing up a bit, but that's not a prerequisite for being welcomed there and feeling at home. Ocean 60 has always been near the very top of our go-to locations for a night out in Jacksonville. Over the course of a decade now, we have never been disappointed.

    Outstanding meal at Ocean 60 Saturday night. I had the grilled meatloaf, awesome, who would say that about meatloaf!! My wife had a filet topped with scallops that she loved. Our server Reed did a outstanding job at giving us recommendations. The cocktails alone are worth going for - we had mango martini, cucumber martini and for dessert, butterfinger martini. Definitely a place we are going to frequent more often. The atmosphere was fun, can tell this is a popular bar in the evenings. The new owner David should be very proud at what he has put together.

    I selected Ocean 60 from an area that has lots of great restaurants. My husband said I hit a home run with my selection. My steak frites were as good as they are in Paris and my husband’s shrimp scampi was outstanding. This is our next go to restaurant.

    The noise level was almost intolerable. Even though seated in the quieter room, the noise bled over and caused conversation to be difficult. I have been to this restaurant before and was taking a friend from out of town to experience it this time. The mussel appetizer was so poor that we sent it back. The mussels were small and tough and one was actually disintegrated in the shell. The Seafood bake was fair but the risotto dish was dry and gummy. Sorely disappointed and a bit embarrassed.
