Ocean 44

This was our first time dining at Ocean 44, and was our last. We, apparently, are not the type of guests they want. Two men in their 50's, well dressed, do not fit the Scottsdale environment. They did their best to keep us out of the way, and out of sight. While a manager tried to explain the situation, and comped a couple things, there was no sincerity in his tone.

I would like to share that the food was incredible and Kirsten and Lindsay were remarkable servers.

Had such an amazing night with amazing food and amazing service provided by Michael. Often times when I go out to nice places for dinner, the servers seem to be dry and bland. Michael had an actual personality and despite being busy, made the experience very personable. We ordered the 22 oz tomahawk wagyu as well as whipped potatoes and the truffle cauliflower. Started with hamachi yellowtail and I ordered a dirty martini that was exactly how I like it! Everything was delicious and high quality. A great night to celebrate my boyfriend !

Seriously 1.5 little crab leg for $40? Not worth it, the shrimp we tasteless and small. The oysters were small and salty. The value vs quality wasnt there. I wont go back. I have been going to Mastro's since the very 1st one was open, I personally knew Michael Bloch & Dennis and Mike. This place isnt even close to that. Our service though was amazing .

This place is amazing! The decor is modern, masculine and sexy, beautiful stone work, fixtures, flower arrangements. The crowd is well dressed and classy. The wait staff is plentiful, knowledgeable about their food and very accommodating. The food is spectacular, seriously everything you will order at this Esya is coming to be superb. We started our meal with oysters, they were to die for. We also had lobster rolls, and shrimp appetizer they were divine. We had sea bass, sole, NY steak and lobster for dinner and they were all amazing. I also had 2 of their signature gin & vodka martinis which were insanely deliciously. Would I come here again?!!! Most definitely, do I think you should as well?!!! Absofuckinglutely!!!

Our waiter made the evening delightful, we were well cared for! Both our meals had a wonderful flavor and beautiful presentation. We sat in front of the chefs/kitchen, more fun! How do they keep the kitchen that spotless? The only thing that puzzled us was their music choice, not totally off-putting, but surprising current, didn't go with the rest of the ambiance. But look at what we liked!!

Our server was great but came too often and interrupted conversation.

If you are looking for the best food and service in town, this is your spot. Sure, you might pay a little more for it, but 100% worth every penny. For those hard of hearing, this place may be a bit too noisy....but otherwise, the level of music and others talking around you is ok for the average person. The restaurant decor is simply gorgeous as well.

Hi, we were celebrating my wife’s birthday and we had clients in town as wellI don’t think it could have gone better. The service was incredible and the food was amazing. From the moment we walked in till the moment we left I would have to say it was our best dining experience in Arizona by far, and there are some really good restaurants here. It was an early Easter Supper and it was perfect from the front desk greeting to the attentive service, excellent food, presentation, price, and atmosphere. There was a mix of families and couples enjoying a memorable occasion, with a sophisticated, comfortable vibe. Our server, Juan was professional and engaging. Our new favorite restaraunt.
