   A Perfect Birthday Celebration I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my husband’s birthday , and the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the attention to detail and the warm welcome we received. The staff had clearly prepared for our special evening—our table was beautifully set, and waiting for us was a thoughtful, handwritten birthday card from the General Manager. That small touch truly made the celebration feel personal and memorable. Our server was outstanding Roha (spelling may be wrong) was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They took the time to walk us through the menu and ensured everything was timed perfectly throughout the evening. We started with the crispy shrimp appetizer, which was perfectly golden, tender, and full of flavor—an excellent way to begin our meal. For our entrée, we shared the Shellfish Tower, which was an impressive and indulgent centerpiece. Every component—from the lobster and crab to the oysters and shrimp—was fresh, expertly prepared, and beautifully presented. I enjoyed a glass of Riesling with dinner, which was perfectly balanced—lightly sweet with just the right acidity to complement the seafood. To finish off the evening, we were treated to a decadent dessert (compliments of our server) with a candle and birthday message elegantly written on the plate. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable night. Ocean 44 exceeded all expectations with its impeccable service, delicious food, and thoughtful touches that made our celebration truly special. I highly recommend it for any special occasion—or whenever you want a luxury dining experience to remember.

   Everything we ate was excellent. Other seafood restaurants we have been to pale by comparison, offering small portions for the price or simply poor recipes. Not Ocean 44. Three of the four of us ordered fish--salmon, char, and sea bass--and all of us had to take some home because the portions are an excellent value for the price and the recipes on the fish were great! Also recommend the shrimp deviled eggs--excellent. Our waitresses Susan and Megan were amazing--knew the entire menu by heart and made every choice seem like a delicacy--we understand why! Brian, the manager, came to check on us and was very enthusiastic and gracious, ensuring we were well taken care of! We will be back soon!

   Iliana our server was amazing. Her recommendations were on point. The food was exceptional! There’s not one thing we had that wasn’t done to perfection! Definitely coming back here on our next travel.

   It was a busy Mother's Day, so I write this with that caveat. Our initial table was terrible—right near the bar back—so we asked to be moved, which they did. It took over 15 minutes to be greeted (an eternity in the restaurant business), and we were slightly annoyed. The lighting was perfect, but it was loud, the tables were too close, and the music was possibly the worst choice for a fine(ish) dining restaurant. However, once service started, it was excellent, attentive without being obsequious, and the food did not disappoint. Everything from the fresh oysters to the well-cooked filet to the not overly seasoned tartare to salads and dessert was flavorful and well executed. Inventive enough for people who like new tastes but not enough to seem pretentious or unrecognizable. Our waiter had an excellent command of the wine and helped us pair nicely. Overall, we walked away happy. With a few tweaks, this could be a regular place for us.

   Really nice restaurant with impeccable wait staff. Food was very good and choices were very good. Make sure you have a big budget in mind for this place.

   I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is consistently GREAT; the ambience is perfect for a special occasion or just a romantic “date night” and the service we received from “Rojo” was impeccable, his suggestion for the delicious “Mother’s Day special” was exactly what my palate was yearning. It was EXCELLENT, I devoured it! This was not my 1st dining experience at OCEAN 44, and it most certainly will not be my last. I had mentioned the selection of “Denny’s’ music” they played in the restaurant STILL seemed inappropriate for the elegant atmosphere. They need to consider JAZZ or “Urban lounge” music.

   Food was phenomenal! Service was great Joe and Megan were top notch!! Staff was super accommodating as we came in with a couple more than the reservation was for.
