   Open table confirmed our reservation 3 times— got to restaurant in time and this is what we found on door— “Under RENOVATION thanks for understanding. See you soon. Slainte. Unbelievable— you couldn’t notify open table you were closed?

   While I may recommend O’Caseys to a friend I would not recommend Open Table to a friend. I made reservations at this restaurant only to find out it was closed for renovations. Yet Open table still allowed the reservation to be made.

   I only gave three stars on food and service because I did not eat there. I walked in and the place smelled like my gym bag… after long workouts… full of gym clothes… that haven’t been washed in three weeks. I found it on PULSD and when I walked in, thank God I was early, because I called my date right away and told her we need to do a change of plans before she had arrived. They could not pay me to eat in this place.

   Closed with no notice. When calling someone did pick up but gave a vague response that there was a private event.

   Got there for our reservation time to find out they were closed for renovations and there was a ton of construction on the street as well. would probably have been good if they updated sites so people can’t reserve tables while they aren’t open. We were on a day trip from hours away and had tried to plan our restaurants appropriately, so this definitely threw a wrench into things.

   I made this reservation from out of town for a trip to NY only to find out the restaurant is closed for renovations. They should not be allowed to accept reservation while closed. Very frustrating

   Horrible. They were closed for renovations. No info in their website. I was embarrassed when we all met there. I will NEVER frequent them again!

   Even though I was able to make a reservation the restaurant was closed for renovation! How is possible?

   I had high hopes for this intimate pub in the theater district. Reviews seemed favorable. However, I found the food sub-par. Calamari was rubbery and very salty. DIdn't eat much of it. Lobster ravioli also very salty. Beef stew was very liquidy and instead of chunks of potatoes int he stew it was mashed potatoes and a minimal amount of other vegetables. The waiter was very friendly and tried to be accommodating. The host (possibly owner) a lovely Irish speaking gentlemen was very welcoming. We were not drinking so I can't speak for that part of the the bar's services.
