we have eaten there many times and have always been very pleased with the food, for some reason it was off this time and when brought to waiters attention it was just shrugged off, and told hopefully it will be better next time. the grouper was not good and not edible and nothing was done about it. because of this we will probably not return to one of our go to places

After church on Sunday or before the local college theather you can count on O'Brien's Bistro. The food is always exceptionally well done but the price is just under the excessively higher peers to O'Brien's. Cannot go wrong having a meal here.

Small unassuming restaurant with amazing food. Very homey vibe. I had the seared Ahi, cup of French Onion soup, and garden salad with blackened shrimp. My husband had the rack of lamb. Everything was presented excellently. Hot, yummy amazing dishes. Not overprice and really good portion sizes. NOT massive amounts of subpar food, which is something you get a lot of in Pensacola.

It’s listed as a must go. Food was pretty awful. Dry and inedible. We nearly touched our food and the wait staff didn’t seem concerned. Spent north of $175 for 4. Food came out fast … may have been microwaved, which would explain the texture. The ambience is that of a start up restaurant in the 80s. Run down. Didn’t appreciate the couple behind us having a loud, curse filled fight. Maybe some music or spreading out the table would have drowned them out. Bathroom needs a redo too. Won’t return.

The service was great. My wife enjoyed her dish more than I did. She was looking forward to desert until we spotted a tiny fly on my drink glass that I killed on the rim and then noticed a couple of others trying to invade our food. This was a no go as if they were in the dining area we had no idea what was happening in the kitchen. Wife politely said sure we will be back. We won't.
