great rolls & drinks. services were pretty rushed to get us out of there - not very nice.

The AC went out and it was really hot! They kept the front door open. It was not the experience I was looking forward to.

We were looking forward to a great dinner out and unfortunately were let down. Not only was the food pricey and subpar, so was the service. Aside from the hostess, the staff was not welcoming at all. The mood amongst the staff brought down the overall ambience and we were eager to finish our meal and leave. Overall, our experience at OBON was a let down and we would not recommend to others.

The food was soooooo good! Loved our waitress too.

Have been here a few times and always find the service to be very short and not welcoming. It’s a shame because the food is pretty good but the lack of service, especially working in the industry is always so bad.

Always a wonderful experience, fabulous food and great music.

The ambiance is noisy and not good. Bar flies at the bar near us were noisy and not very respectful of others -two were aggressively making out while seated at the bar. Food was fair and the service was slow. Things looked dirty and not an appetizing atmosphere

Love the restaurant!

Great service to go along with so so food. Nothing to write home about here. Had dumplings to start, so sushi and the street noodles. None were bad, none were great. The rainbow roll had fake crab but doesn't say that on the menu. The drinks were ok as well. IF you want to try it go 3-5 for happy hour and get half off Maki rolls and decide for yourself.

It was a fun place overall and our waitress brought out everything on time and really fast. They brought the food very quick and the receipt really fast. Amazing food but it was a lot. Recommend this place.

Not a pleasant experience with our dining tonight:

1) The AC was broken and it was uncomfortably hot sitting inside and dining there in 100 degree in AZ.They should inform the clients that there is no AC before accepting reservations.

2) I called the restaurant and changed our reservation from 5:00 to 5:30 and they said no problem. However, I received an email from Opentable that we missed our reservation! The communication between employees and clients is impaired.

Seating outside at night no lights, in extreme heat no fans. Inside no AC and unpleasant smell. We decided to give it a try outside. The service was pleasant enough, but our waitress oversold without price transparency. The Ramen was the worst experience, extremely spicy, overseasoned, and salty.

Food was really good and the service was great. Sitting outside, the people watching is always interesting in that area of Scottsdale, too!

again, alway"s excellent food, the obon edamame is great, strip rolls are the best anywhere, and hafu rolls the best.

We left, unfortunately our first impression of staff, the ambiance and smell from the wok/soy was overwhelming. We tried to talk to the hostess but she was indifferent.

The food was amazing.

We sat out on the patio and a great meal.

The food was brought out as it was prepared which was great. We had sushi, beef and brocolini and wok fried rice.

It was cooked perfectly and we will be back.

I was able to customize the ramen dish with a broth that wasn't originally paired with my order. It was tremendous!

Great food and service.

This was our first visit at Obon. We tried the Obon Ramen which was delightful. We also ordered some appetizers and the Yuzu Yellowtail and it's the best we've tried, so we'll be back with friends in tow. Also, fantastic service despite how busy they were.

Love this place! Food and drinks are great. The smoked pineapple jalapeño isn’t on the menu but I highly recommend!

OBON Sushi + Bar + Ramen @ Scottsdale Quarter was a wonderful setting for a Sushi Night with a dear friend.

The staff was very friendly and attentive to our requests, and the food was served perfectly as described.

The music selection was very fun, and reminiscent of the 2010s, my friend and I had fun talking about the music as we dined on the outside patio, facing the NW side of the Quarter.

Though OBON closed at 9:00, the staff was extremely friendly and allowed us to completely finish our meal, which was at 9:20.

everything like always was excellent. the obon edamame is great, the best strip rolls anywhere, and also the shrimp tempura roll amazing.

Very trendy/ Asian fusion food ... and a bit overpriced; first time jackfruit & it was better than the pork belly !!

Although the restaurant was pretty empty the music was so loud. It was hard to hear my friend over dinner. Also we got a terrible 2 seat table by the hallway to the bathroom even though the restaurant was pretty empty. I would have loved a more comfortable spot than in front of the toilets.

Obon has the best ramen in town! Not a big fan of their rolls (and they only have a few to choose from), but definitely can’t beat the ramen. The pork belly buns are also really good.

Obon was a random find for us near our hotel, unlike the rest of our food stops that were recommended to us on our trip. It was SO GOOD and we are already wanting to go back if we visit in the future. The crispy tuna rice app was so good and unique. All of our food was great and our waitress was great as well. Prompt service with fun environment. We shared the tuna poke bowl (super fresh tasting), street noodles, and monster roll!

Music was quite loud and didn’t fit the vibe. Food okay.

Buns and apps were amazing sushi was also very good

My favorite was the crunchy spicy tuna appetizer. Steam buns were outstanding! The ramen is top notch! Customer service was excellent too!
