Food was delicious. As it got more crowded, the service got slower. For most of the time there was a screaming baby somewhere in the restaurant.

We have eaten at Oba twice and have been impressed with the food, service and menu. On nice evenings it's so lovely to have a table on the porch. We highly recommend Oba to anyone who likes good food.

We enjoyed the food and our server was friendly. We had a to wait about 10 minutes for a table to clear and the area we got was quite cold under the air conditioning vent. It looks like the outdoor seating would be great since the restaurant is in a former house with a huge porch. We have eaten in many Turkish restaurants in the U.S. and this was quite good. The bread would be even better using overnight preparation but we enjoyed it. It got a bit noisy inside even though the restaurant is not very large. Baklava is average and tea is a bit light but the main courses are excellent and there were many Turks eating there, an unstated endorsement of the quality. The chicken, lamb, and Adana kebabs were grilled well full of flavor and the rice was quite flavorful with butter and the juice of the kebabs over them. If we return to the area we would definitely return. It is in an area across the river from Philadelphia about 10 minutes from Camden in a lovely town of Collingswood, NJ.

Wonderful menu, fantastic food, especially the Lamb Shish, great portions. Wait staff friendly but a tad young and inexperienced. That will turn around in time. Save room for dessert. This was our first visit, we will go again.

We really enjoyed our dinner. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was lovely and explained the dishes we were not familiar with because we were new to Turkish food.
