Oak Steakhouse - Raleigh

My boyfriend and I recently went to Oak Steakhouse for our four year anniversary dinner. We had a very tasty meal and a wonderful waiter - Eric. He gifted us some of their bone marrow frites and a glass of champagne, each. He was so kind and made our experience that much better. I've already recommended this restaurant to many people (and it's only been two days). It is on the pricier side, but it's worth it for a nice evening out.

For the most part it was amazing. I did not like my quail and the mac n cheese was so spicy I couldn't eat it. The Wellington was fabulous. Mashed potatoes fabulous. They said bone marrow something. It was French fries. Which were good but not $20 fries. I think they could use a little help but I'm sure it will not be a bad experience for you

Professional and friendly staff. Atmosphere is comfortable, private and quiet. Drinks and wine options are fantastic. Will be bringing friends and relatives from out of town to this restaurant.

Very impressed with their COVID-19 procedures. Food was amazing especially their bread service.

Christmas Eve

Great atmosphere and great staff- the food was amazing. I had the Beef Wellington and was not disappointed. This was the whole reason for us going to this restaurant. Top to bottom a very classy setting and great food!

Everything was perfect. Fine dining at its best. Food was exceptional and I am not saying it lightly. We had a wonderful evening.

First time at the Oak Steakhouse and won’t be the last. Overall experience was amazing and our waiter (Conner) was fantastic.

Food was cooked to perfection! It’s rare to see octopus cooked well, but it was tender and succulent. The rolls will melt in your mouth, and the filet was tender.

Outstanding service and delicious meal. There is always something different and unique on the menu at Oak. The grilled radicchio and goat cheese salad was luscious! The filet mignon melted in your mouth and the tortellini was sumptuous. Wonderful experience!

Delicious! Had the pork belly, split a Caesar. I had the gnocchi with lamb bolognese and my boyfriend had the beef Wellington. Both were generous and delicious. We also shared a side of mushrooms that were fantastic. Service was prompt and knowledgeable. We’ll be back!

Nice restaurant, great staff, and food creativity and quality is superb. Great date night. Location and ambience is excellent.

Food was outstanding as usual. Steak frites is off the charts and we always get the bread service. The servers are so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. This is our go to when we want a nice dinner out at a reasonable price point!

Oak Steakhouse far exceeded my expectations. Ribeye was perfect prepared side of onionsas well, rolls hot and fluffy, Brussel sprouts well seasoned, crumb topped macaroni made a good impression, mashed potatoes always good, friends enjoyed the burger as well.

Even dessert was very good. Normally, I do not like/eat dessert when I go out, but this place does it right.

Very Very expensive for what it is, but was very impressed!

The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. I had the black bass and it was the most delicious fish I’ve ever eaten. My husband had the filet and it was like butter! Highly recommend the Mac and cheese!

We were here for Thanksgiving. We had an attentive waiter that was fantastic. The food was awesome - all three in my party had the Thanksgiving Pre-Fixe Menu. Turkey was wonderful and the brussel sprouts and mac and cheese sides were incredible. We stayed for 2.5 hrs and enjoyed the food and great conversation.

Oak Steakhouse is always a wonderful experience! Sam provided excellent service and the food was delicious. We were celebrating a wedding and they actually changed the restaurant playlist to love songs -- that's the attention to detail Oak provides. And though it is a steakhouse, the vegetarian in our party found menu options she loved.

$$$$$ but delicious

Oak Steakhouse has become one of our favorites! Everything we've tried on the menu so far has been so well presented and flavorful! The waitstaff are on top of their game but not intrusive. Great dining experience!
