Oak Steakhouse - Raleigh

Took over 3 hours from start to finish. Took a lot of time in between drinks and ordering.
Food was okay, everything was too salty though. Wine was amazing. Service was nice but not very fast.
The food was outstanding and service was fantastic. They do not rush you and are very attentive.
Excellent food, service and drinks. Nice decor. Like that the tables were not crammed together . Plenty of space to walk around tables.
First time here. We'll definitely be back. Great ribeye & sides and great service.
The food was fantastic and the service was even better! Definitely recommend!
Birthday dinner for my Dad and I
our server, Angela, was AMAZING. The right level of attention to us and care about the menu. She really know how to make us feel taken care of. The steaks we ordered (filet and hanger) were just not up to par and at that price point - they should be excellent. On the plus side, the deviled egg with fried oyster on top was a surprising delight - great idea / execution!
First time customer and the experience was solid...It’s a steak house, obviously, but anything beyond that is limited...and certainly not on the value side of a dining visit...everybody in our party had positive feedback on their meals...the sides were delicious...the wine pours are minuscule to say the least...
Food and service were excellent
Really nice dinner with a friend at Oak--last minute reservation was available so we were seated promptly. Our server was patient with our jabbering and we did not feel rushed. He was incredibly attentive to refilling our drinks(one club soda with lime and one club soda-cranberry). The truffle fries were a-m-a-z-i-n-g though my burger was ordered medium but came out well done(I didn't send it back or complain---the kitchen was busy). It had great flavor and the topings were fabulous---had it without a bun so can't comment on the bread. The brussel sprouts were a little greasy but otherwise super tasty. The decadent chocolate cake dessert that looked calorie worthy was a little dry and flat on flavor so we only nibbled at it but having said that, we were really full and probably should have never ordered dessert! We were sitting right next to the kitchen so I could see food sitting and waiting to be picked up so my only concern is probably the length of time it took for a few servers to grab their food---but I have never worked food services so I may be off.
I am 2 for 3 at Oak. Two great experiences and one not great experience. I will give it a 4th try.
Great food , amazing service. Wonderful atmosphere .
Excellent service and delicious food. I would highly recommend for business meals.
Service was outstanding and food was great but they were out of filets and lobster thermidor?! At A steakhouse. That was disappointing but overall it was still a good experience.
Amazing service- food was good and plentiful.
Our waitress and any staff we encountered were top shelf. Food was delicious and restaurant itself is very welcoming and warm! It’s expensive but worth it for a special occasion!
The venue was really nicely decorated. The chairs were really comfortable. Oak Raleigh had great service and the food was amazing!
Elegant yet subdued environment in the warehouse district near downtown. Easy access and parking close by. Very diversified selection of snacks, small plates, salads, entrees, steak & chops. We enjoyed Foie Gras & Chicken Liver Pate, Coq Au Vin, and Carolina Heritage Pork Schnitzel. It was all very well done. The wine and cocktail selection is copious. And most importantly, the service was quick, attentive with helpful advice. Highly recommended.
The experience was great, slim menu. High end. Lovely ambiance.
Awesome experience!!!! We had a great time
We can’t wait to go back- food was delicious and staff was very attentive.
The food was delicious; a little pricey, but that worth the special night out!
Phenomenal food, service and experience. Definitely a favorite date night location as well as business! We will be back....a lot.
Loved our dinner here. Apps were wonderful, as were cocktails. Especially enjoyed the deviled eggs topped with fried oysters and the Vietnamese style crispy pig ears. Two of our guest got the Beef Wellington and and said it was superb. Two of us got the bone in filet out of habit and regretted it. Temps were a little off and the cut was surprisingly sinewy. That being said we had more than enough food and the service was wonderful. They accommodated all our requests and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience. We’ll be back but next time I’m getting the Hanger steak.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Oak Steakhouse. The meal from the Raleigh Restaurant Week menu was excellent (hanger steak cooked to perfection accompanied by a kale caesar salad and a chocolate bonet for desert). The ambiance of the restaurant is interesting and well designed accented by different light fixtures in various sections. Comfortable seating far apart enough for privacy and quiet enough for conversation. The manager stopped by and briefly chatted-a very nice touch. All in all, excellent. The Oak is definitely on our list for a return visit.
The service was great. The steak frites were not as good as last time
Amazing date night. Service, food, & ambiance great. The Restaurant Week $35 3 course was an amazing value!!
We went to Oak Steakhouse during restaurant week. It was a great experience especially from a service perspective.
The bread is amazing, it unfortunate you have to order it and it's not just included in the experience (but it is worth it.
Steaks were perfectly done. I ordered the Oscar on top which was good but not great.
Desserts were quite fantastic!
Food was great. Service was outstanding! Don’t miss trying thus restaurant!
I really want to love this place. The venue is wonderful. The service is good. Not great. But the food is underwhelming.
The ambiance and restaurant interior are beautiful. The service really missed the mark though. Knowledgeable and friendly staff - but the timing and pacing was really drawn out and made the restaurant feel very amateur and a far cry from proper city dining. The food was pretty good (except for the creamed spinach, which was like gum). Highly recommend the deviled egg and oysters rockefeller for starters.
We love The Oak. The food is always amazing and the staff is very professional and friendly!
Food and service good. The price was very high and honestly not quite worth the cost for a dinner.
Fabulous food and service. Brian is a waiter for the ages....
Great for special occasions. The staff is very friendly and inviting.
I like to try a restaurant that I have not visited during Triangle Restaurant Week. My husband and I were very pleased with Oak Steakhouse from the moment we arrived until valet returned our car. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the ambiance was just right. I highly recommend this place.
Excellent food and service!
Great experience dining during triangle restaurant week. We will be back again.
The food was outstanding, as was the service?
