Skyline Lodge features Indigo Road Hospitality Group's Oak Steakhouse, a contemporary steakhouse restaurant. Oak's menu includes steakhouse classics with a modern flair, utilizing Certified Angus Beef and local ingredients. The steakhouse, designed by Skyline's interior design team, Mey & Co, seats up to 80 guests in an intimate and inviting dining room lined with luxurious leather banquettes, a custom floor-to-ceiling wine display, and three original working native granite stone fireplaces. Chef Joe Schafer, Vice President of Culinary for Atlanta-based Electric Hospitality, brings over 25 years of experience to leading the kitchens at The Electric Room, Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall, Muchacho, and Ranger Station. A James Beard Award nominee and former Executive Chef at many top Atlanta restaurants like Bacchanalia and King + Duke, he also spearheaded the Atlanta Hawks' food and sustainability programs at State Farm Arena, earning it a platinum zero-waste certification. Chef Jill Mathias, Executive Chef and co-owner of Chez Nous, is known for her ever-changing, handwritten menu inspired by the rustic flavors of Southern France, Northern Spain, and Northern Italy. A Johnson and Wales graduate, she refined her craft in kitchens across the Lowcountry, as well as Seattle and Martha’s Vineyard before leading the iconic Carolina’s Restaurant in Charleston. In 2014, her and her husband, Juan Cassalett, opened Chez Nous, a welcoming neighborhood spot where European comfort food takes center stage.

Chef Trey Smith is co-owner and chef at Saint-Germain, an intimate tasting-menu restaurant in New Orleans' Bywater neighborhood. He collaborates with Chef Blake Aguillard and General Manager Drew DeLaughter to offer a dynamic culinary experience that blends French influences with Southern roots. Before establishing Saint-Germain, Trey strengthened his culinary skills at Restaurant August under Chef Michael Gulotta. He later joined Mopho as the opening chef de cuisine and contributed to the launch of Maypop. His dedication to innovative cuisine has earned him multiple nominations for "Best Chef: South" from the James Beard Foundation.

We loved our visit. Very attentive and personable service. The Trout with Grits and the Eggs Benedict were absolutely delicious. Plus a really tasty Bloody Mary.

Fantastic at every turn with one noticeable exception. We finished our meal. After about 10 minutes of no attention we stacked the plates ourself. After another 10 minute or so the waiter finally returned. During this 20 minute interval there was no offer of desert, refills, or anything else. It was like we were not there. Very unusual, especially considering the overall quality.

We had a delicious dinner with friends! Our group had a primo table near windows and the small balcony so we got prime views of the bear who was also enjoying dinner at the dumpster during our meal. The service was excellent (Trevor was our server and he was so personable and did a great job)! The bread was amazing and the steaks were cooked perfectly! Highly recommend Oak Steakhouse!
