Oak Steakhouse Atlanta
We came to a nice steakhouse just to find an $86 meal that tasted no better than an outback steak dinner. We won’t go back. The medium temp steak was way too tough.
My husband and I always love coming here, that's why we came for his birthday. Our server Nicole was awesome and helped keep it a special night, thanks Nicole!
Great job Kenneth our waiter!! Great food!
Always awesome - they do a phenomenal job. Food and service outstanding.
Robert our waiter was outstanding.
Everything from appetizer to dessert was delicious and perfectly cooked.
Most enjoyable dinner I have had in a long time.
Food was delicious. Service was fantastic. We were celebrating my husband's 40th birthday and they really made him feel special.
The steak was excellent but small , I ordered the bone in fillet. Service was slow. Not the best value for the high costs but high quality ingredients.
Steaks were very average. ( as usual) Everything else is awesome at this place except their meat. Steaks are on par with Outback. ( sorry Outback)
Never disappointed. Never.
Five of us had a terrific dinner at the Oak Steakhouse Monday night. It was the first time there for any of us. We were all very impressed with the setting, the service and the food. Compares very favorably with any steakhouse I've ever been to, including Bones, Chops, Ruth's Chris and Morton's. Steaks were perfectly cooked and very tender. All the side were also delicious. Our server Bobby was very attentive and gracious. Highly recommend you check it out.
Birthday brunch for family member.
Tonight I had Date Night but I included my 7 month old daughter and we had a great experience! This is our 2nd time visiting the restaurant l. We love it!
Steak was extremely salty even though we asked low on pepper and salt. Cream of corn arrived cold. We just left the restaurant and my wife could not eat her steak. Bad choice for an anniversary dinner. Will never go back. For those prices, food should arrive at least warm.
A nice steakhouse, but somewhat overpriced.
I was supposed to be on a date, but they canceled at last minute. Food was amazing, as always. John, the bartender, is awesome!!!! Very helpful, knew his stuff, and was overall just fun to be around. Will definitely return.
Amazing steak, the creamed corn is absolutely fantastic, great service! The light could be a little less dimmed.
What should have been an enjoyable evening did not turn out the way it should have. Our Server was excellent and I have no complaint in that department. The salad was fine. However, my steak was overcooked and I had to send it back. By the time, a new steak was brought to the table, the other members of my party had finished their meals. The management did do the right thing by taking my steak off of the bill and I would return to the restaurant and give it another chance because of their action. It still did not make my visit an enjoyable one.
Everything was very good. Value, not so much unless you like spending $55 for a $30 steak, $55 for a $25 bottle of wine, $10 for $5 sides, $35 for $15 lobster appetizer, $20 for a crab cake that should be $8. Don’t get me wrong, great place with great service and great food but grossly overpriced. Stoney River is a much better value. This place is not Bone’s, Chops or McKendrick’s but they price everything as if they were.
I had the crab cake sandwich for brunch. It was exactly what you would want. Luscious crab and hardly anything to hold it together. Delicious!! We also had the bread pudding to share. Delicious!
Had another fabulous meal at Oak Steak House last Friday night. It was a Birthday dinner and we our server and Ryan made us feel very special! Will definitely be back again!!!
Excellent! John provides great and efficient service!
Their food is consistently delicious, reasonably priced and a delightful place to dine
We had an amazing time at Oak. Our server was so knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. I feel bad because I can’t remember his name. The food was absolutely amazing and the pace of service was perfect. Definitely recommend!
Oak was the highlight of my visit to Atlanta, our service was excellent and we appreciated everything the staff and management did for us during our dining experience. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and continuously impressing me every time I visit a new Indigo road restaurant.
It's been a few years since coming here and was not disappointed. The steak was phenomenal and the drink selection and dessert are fantastic.
We've referred many of our friends to go to Oak and ask for Krista Dickerson as their server! Krista is very attentive and makes dining at Oak a great experience!
Our experience at Oak Steakhouse, from a service perspective was great. Our server was friendly and the management staff were too. The food on the other hand: My ribeye steak cut was poor, very little marbling and overcooked. When you pay $51 for a steak you expect the best cut - this was not the case. Then the main reason for giving a poor food rating was that I am still recovering from an upset stomach - I was fine until I ate dinner, so by process of elimination it's likely to be a bug I picked up in the establishment.
Great Dining Experience!
It’s hard to believe this restaurant is in the burbs and not in the city. The quality, service, attention to detail, engagement was first class. We went to celebrate my husbands birthday and he had a huge selection of scotches and bourbons to keep him happy and I experienced two phenomenal reds. To top off the night they presented him with a dessert of his favorite- shortbread cookies. Can’t wait for the next occasion to go back to celebrate!
Husband took me here for my birthday and it was fantastic. All the staff was pleasant and attentive. Definitely will be back
My wife and I recently dined here for our 20th anniversary and it was amazing! Everything we ordered was fantastic and the staff was courteous and attentive, without being overbearing or constantly interrupting. The manager came by to check on us and we had a nice chat with him as well. We will definitely be back in the near future.
Had their version of the Ceaser salad. Good, but very, very little dressing. Had the 12 oz. filet, cooked Med-Rare just as ordered but very little seasoning on the steak. The brussel sprouts & califlower in thai chilli sauce were very good. At at the bar and the service was very good. Woould have gone with 4 stars on the food but the lack of dressing, then lack of seasoning made me go to 3 stars. Maybe just an under seasoner working in the office that night. I'll try again sometime.
Exceptional quality of fresh ingredients and steaks! We will be back as soon as possible. I highly recommend the scallop appetizer, filet, and the donuts holes with mango sorbet for desert!
It was a very good meal.
Food was amazing. Not our first time here either. Waitress was super attentive her name was Marti. Brought my son for his first visit and he was sold
Way too loud. I could not have a decent conversation with the people across the table from me. My steak had a large amount of fat & grisel, and was overcooked. I ordered medium rare and it was cooked medium well.
The steaks were good but not great. We recently moved here from south Florida and are trying to find a steak house on par with a couple of our regulars in Florida. This didn't make the grade. The service was good but nothing spectacular. The macaroni and cheese was good but I would have preferred a baked potato and that is not an option. The brussel sprouts were good, but the entire restaurant smelled like brussel sprouts which was a real turn off for me.
The service was excellent. Our server brought us samples of the oysters and several wines before ordering to make sure we got what we liked. Steak was cooked perfectly and great quality. Highly recommend the black truffle butter. The staff was informed that it was my husband's birthday but no "celebration" was given. Bones does a better job for celebrations and ambience, but overall The Oak great for a nice steak dinner.
It was wonderful. Thank you.
The food here is some of the best in Atlanta. In my opinion, better than Pampas or Stoney River at about the same price point. The best part is their service. Friendly and cordial. Our server was highly attentive and didn't miss a single point. She even stopped and had conversation with us. Make sure to have a reservation, it fills up very quickly!
