Went for a birthday date night. The service and the food was excellent. This was our first time dining and we will definitely be returning.
Service was exceptional as well as the food! Always enjoy eating at Oak!
Great place! Great service!!
Excellent food and service. Really just an outstanding experience—-highly recommend!
This was my first visit to Oak and will DEFINITELY be back. Great experience with every staff member we encountered.
Came here for a date night and loved it. Kaylie was our waitress and she was phenomenal. She answered every question we had and made our experience very enjoyable. I had the 8oz filet, he had a 10oz filet. We picked the potatoes & brussel sprouts/cauliflower as our sides. Everything was delicious. 10/10 recommend.
Great atmosphere. Bar selection is on point between craft beers and bourbon its had to choose. Food is amazing.
Delicious and impeccable service.
Always good food and great service
Our service was awesome and the food was delicious!!! Will definitely be coming back!!
So amazing. The food was divine and the service was perfect.
Another great experience at Oak! My wife and I had an amazing dinner and great service!
It was my wife & I anniversary
My wife and I went for dinner to enjoy a night away from the kids.
We arrived early and sat at the bar for a drink. The decor is beautiful and the wine was superb. We ordered starters and they were delicious. The charred octopus was fantastic.
The good part of the experience ended there unfortunately. We were taken to our outside table and it was incredibly loud. I ordered the 20oz boneless ribeye.
The plate arrived with just a piece of meat. I’d ordered medium rare and definitely received meat that was slightly over. Whilst the meat was certainly not bad, it by no means offers any value for the $70 price tag. A piece of meat on a plate: The steak came with nothing, even at $70, and i had to order a $11 side which was brought in a separate dish. Poor presentation doesn’t cover this and is unpleasant to look at. It takes little to no effort from a quality kitchen to present food in an appealing way. At this price it should be above standard not far below it. Not even worth discussing my wife’s meal as it was more of them same.
If you are looking for truly great meat, you can find the same quality at places for probably half the price. It will probably be presented better too.
This is not the place to go If it’s a special occasion and you view this as a dining “treat.”
Average at best. Go for a drink because the bar is stunning and then eat somewhere else.
Not what we expected from a highly regarded Atlanta steakhouse. Although our server, David, did a great job serving, the food was mediocre and took about 45 to 50 minutes to arrive after we ordered our main meals. Two of our party ordered the fish which was a bit over-cooked and served over a lima bean medley that tasted as if came right out of a can. One of our party ordered a hamburger but it was quite obvious that the burger had been grilled on the same grill as the fish and was thus inedible. It smelled horrible and after one bite, it was not eaten at all. Big disappointment because my wife & I regularly to The Oak just for the burgers and they had always been outstanding! The fourth member of the party had a very mediocre filet mignon, which was quite overcooked. You can get a better quality steak at a chain restaurant (Read: Longhorn's) than what was served. Although the manager tried to make up for the timeliness and food quality by sending us free deserts (which were fantastic, by the way), the tardiness of the meal and the poor quality of the food greatly disappointed all of us. Definitely not how I wanted to impress my client. It would be difficult to recommend this restaurant to our friends and neighbors, much less for me to entertain clients. Sorry, guys, but it needed to be much better.
Busy place, had to make reservations 2 days in advance. Good food and good service. On par with other steakhouses in the area.
We had the best experience at Oak! The service was fantastic and the food was phenomenal! We enjoyed every aspect of our dinner. Oak has become one of our favorite celebration spots!
Anniversary dinner was very good! Very good service!
Excellent Food and service. I would definitely recommend Oak steakhouse to others.
This was a business dinner. Everything was very nice. We will be doing more business in the area in the future and will return again.
Great experience, we loved our server. Food was really good. Took quite a while to receive entrees, and area near bathroom stank like a bad mop.
My family and I went to oak for my birthday. Everything was perfect. I called a few hours before our reservation time and asked to move the tone up 15 minutes and they accommodated the change.
Disappointed that our experience was disappointing. Food was just ok which is unusual for this place. My Caesar salad was room temperature… almost “warm”… I did not eat it. The waiter was nice and very attentive at first then
He got a large table for 10 Or so right beside us… bless his heart… and that left us fending for ourselves for things like water refill, asking for additional time to cook steak, which led me waiting over 30 minutes from The time i indicated it was to red to getting it back. A real bummer. I have had multiple exceptional Experiences at Oak so I am chalking it up to a “off night”. Just thought the management would appreciate the feedback.
We had been told it was dressier than it was. Servers wear jeans, so we could’ve dressed down. But, if we’re eating an expensive meal, it’s also nice to dress for it. Excellent service. Food was great. We sat where we could see the kitchen and did a great job moving tickets through.
Over the top pricey / good food but excellent service!
Oak has definitely gone downhill in terms of food quality. We will not be returning anytime soon. Octopus was rubbery, steak was mediocre, sides were nothing special.
Be sure to request Zuri James as you server - he does an amazing job!
Really enjoyed the evening with awesome service and steaks were perfect. All of my guests really enjoyed the evening!
The service was impeccable, the meal was deliciously prepared and we enjoyed all the wonderful attention to details in making our wedding anniversary special. Thank you for making us feel all warm and fuzzy inside with a complimentary glass of champagne and the chocolate caramel mousse dessert.
The only thing that would have made it better was to be seated in the main room. We didn’t care for the side room. It’s so removed from good people watching and the nice ambiance of the restaurant. Our server’s made us forget that aspect of the evening. They both were wonderful and so professional.
First time eating here it was great. The service was good, and the food was all excellent!
Nice setting- brunch is a good deal and the food is good!
Service and food was excellent. The staff recognized our anniversary and brought to us a wonderful desert.
Delicious steak and excellent service
The food and service was amazing! We greatly enjoyed our meal at Oak Steakhouse.
Food was amazing and our server, Priscilla, was fantastic and very sweet! She even brought out a dessert with a candle because it was my birthday month ❤️ Would recommend to anyone!
The food and service was great! My server was Dan or David he was a little older. He was excellent!
I really like this place but I’ve come to learn that ordering something other than their high end steaks will give me a better experience. Cocktail program has improved and bartenders are great. I do understand that Covid has changed things but foie has been missing from this menu for a very long time and it used to be a highlight so that’s an enjoyment deficit that will remain.
Also I’ve spent quite a bit of money on the wagyu and the dry aged steaks here over many years and the quality has steadily decreased and as of last night I have ordered those for the last time. For the money being charged these should be the best available anywhere but we found the flavor in the dry aged bone in ribeye to be lacking and just way too many flaws with silver skin and other impediments. I’m going to stick to burgers, fish or other specialty dishes going forward. The veal chop needs to come back as that was always spectacular and far better value for the money.
Overall still a good place but just not the place to go and have a spectacular steak anymore.
The floor mgr, the server, her service and drink and food was all excellent, 5 star rating!
