Our server was awesome and the food - taste and quality - over the top.
Everyone there from hostess to waiters and Manager Jeff are so accommodating. It’s sort of my kitchen 👍
It was an absolutely Awesome experience ❤️
We went to the Oak Steakhouse at Avalon in Alpharetta on Fathers Day 2021. I ordeered the eggs holandaise with chesse grits. The potatoes served were the best ever thT ihave had. Cheese grits were also outstanding. My wife had the country breakfeast and the bacon was totally awesome. Service was oustanding and the manager cam by twice to make sure evrything was in order.
Our waiter was excellent! The food was amazing.
Need some fans on the patio!
Bobby was our waiter and incredibly helpful in placing our wine, food and dessert orders.
Not bad at all. We celebrated our anniversary and spent nearly $300 including tax and tip for 2. Ordered the 20 oz. bone-in dry-aged ribeye w/ truffle butter on the side. It was fine. But I wouldn't spend that much on it again (I think it was close to $80 + $5 for the butter). Next time I'll try just their standard ribeye. Tried the crap cake starter, it was great. The side caesar was fine for us to share--be sure you enjoy anchovy, as it was fairly full-flavored. We had a few glasses of wine and a cocktail--all was fine. My wife ordered the market catch (bass), and it was served on a bed of chowder. It was very tasty--better than the steak, overall. We also shared a parmesan truffle fry side--it was fine. They really treated us nicely for our anniversary (some complimentary champagne as well as a simple dessert). We ordered another dessert to bring home for our sitters (the grandparents).
The service was top notch, and all of the food was good. We went all out, but if I were to do this more often, I would skip the parmesan truffle fries, and forgo the dry-aged steak in favor of a cheaper one (not that any of them are meant to be cheap). Be careful of their samples :) they're good at pushing their $25/glass cabernet. Tasted great! ... but again, I doubt I'd splurge for all of that if I were to visit more regularly. All of this could help keep the bill down to maybe $200 for 2, while still having a similar visit.
Amazing service and food!! Our favorite date night spot!
The four of us had a very enjoyable time celebrating my husband’s birthday. The kitchen did run out the steak he wanted (dry-aged prime), but he ordered the “un-aged” and it was as good as we were expecting the dry-aged to be. Our waiter was excellent in all ways and very personable. I like Oak the best of all steakhouses in the area. As well as the food and service, I think it has the best ambience.
What welcoming service from the moment we arrived. My reservation request was for a table for two a romantic date. We couldn’t have been more pleased.
Really great meal and service! Enjoyed the wagyu and NY Strip steak. Brussels sprouts were an amazing side.
Tomahawk steak was delicious and perfectly cooked.
I was very disappointed to say the least on my visit this time. The bartender rudely ignored me and my friend to help other patrons that were of the majority last night. I watched him help several people that were not ahead of us.
Dinner got better and our server was more than helpful and polite and even gave us champagne on the house.
I would suggest that you hire maybe two superior bartenders to attend to the large crowds as you grow.
We had a table of four people. Arrived for our 6:45pm reservation on time. The food was good, however it took forever to get it. It was obvious to us that our waiter was working too many tables - so, Oak Steakhouse has had difficulty hiring wait staff! We didn't finish until 9:40pm! There are many good steakhouses in Atlanta and I can tell you that we won't be back until we hear several good things about this place.
Celebrated our anniversary last night. My steak was undercooked but the staff made sure to get it right and went above and beyond with their gestures to ensure we had a pleasant evening. There isn’t anywhere else I’d like a steak from than here
My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Oak Steakhouse last night. Lauren, our waitress was very attentive, and the rest of the staff was great as well. Brussel Sprouts & cauliflower side was delicious, as were the steaks. Highly recommend!
Great place for brunch! Shrimp and grits were delicious!
Celebrated my friends 60th for brunch. The wait staff was wonderful, and the food was delicious.
Great restaurants and location
Unbelievable evening with my girl friend celebrating our 31st anniversary.
Tommy our server was THE BEST!
Thank you Oak Steakhouse.
Everything from valet to paying the check was pleasant. We were seated immediately upon arrival. We opted for outdoor seating. This restaurant had a delightful ambiance both inside and out. My steak was perfect. I opted for filet. For sides I had the Brussel sprouts and jalapeño cornbread. The waiter surprised us with a complimentary side of collard greens. I thoroughly enjoyed everything including our drinks. I had a glass of Bordeaux and my friend had an old fashion. I look forward dining again in the near future.
The steaks and sauces were delicious! We both had filets. We shared creamed spinach and potato purée. The potatoes were just good. Our waiter was fabulous! We sat outside. Would definitely go again!
If you’re going to eat anything at Oak steakhouse, stick to the steak! Steak is what they do best and you will not be disappointed. The oysters are always delicious and served cold. However, I’m not sure why they have other things on the menu that they can’t knock out of the park... The salads are awful, the shrimp is inedible.. Some of the sides are hit and miss and the menu lacks luster& changes fior the worst at times... They seem to. just drop things off the menu & add items that are sub-par. They need to make sure they have enough experienced bartenders & that the patrons are serviced properly. I hope they listen to feedback and make adjustments… All said, It is a wonderful place & the steaks and cocktails are amazing!
We had an amazing dinner last evening. Service, meal, ambience- all just perfect. They really go out of the way to attend to every detail. We were celebrating my parents 53rd anniversary- they were so complimentary, making them feel very special.
Tried Oak Steakhouse for the first time for our anniversary. I was slightly disappointed right off the bat, as they seated us in a tiny, 2 person table squished up against a wall outside. Unfortunately, I did not find the steaks to be very good as the kitchen had a tough time cooking to the desired level of doneness. I ordered the ribeye medium, but it came out between Medium Well/well-done as there was very little pink and the cut was on the tough side. I rarely complain, but our server (who was great) also thought it was over-cooked. They brought out another one, but this time it was undercooked (cool and rare) and also on the tough side. I just dealt with it since I didn’t want to wait again for another steak and look like a jerk. My wife did enjoy her steak, even though hers was also a little over-cooked. The bread they provide is pretty bland and seemed slightly stale.
Our server and the manager were very friendly and did their best to make things right. I was just surprised to see a high-end steakhouse struggle to get a steak to the right internal temperature. The uncomfortable seating and the quality of steaks did not meet the high price tag for our special occasion.
Great service. Great food. We didn’t feel rushed nor did they take forever! Definitely have a new favorite steakhouse!
Great ambiance! Service & Food were exceptional! Highly recommend for special event, date night and family celebration!
Service was amazing!!! Food was good...great place for special occasions
The experience was great. Our waiter was knowledgeable on the restaurant products and friendly. It was a great experience overall.
We went to Oak Steakhouse to celebrate our son's graduation. Every bit of our time there was great! Really could not have been better. The food was excellent and we were not rushed at all. Our waiter, Robert, was everything a waiter should be. Funny, knowlegable, helpful - highly recommend him and the restaurant.
Great place and ambiance along with spectacular food. Highly recommend for top notch night.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Oak Steakhouse. The service was incredible, food spectacular, the team there made the night for my wife. They prepared a corner table with a flower arrangement I had delivered. Fantastic all around.
We were expecting great things from this place; but left disappointed. With all the great steakhouses in the area they need to do much better. The cocktail was great. The bacon was good. The steak was over cooked. The salad dressings bland. The fries were over salted and truffled. The rest were tasteless. Overall mediocre at best.
Great food and fantastic service! We really liked having Evan as our server.
Main entree’s were good, burger was great! Service was on point, however a tad slow considering the size of the restaurant and low volume of diners. The peanut butter pie good, but needs more sweetness, and the chocolate cake so sweet it was hard to eat. The doughnuts were the best desert!
Overall I’d like to see a more robust menu with more offerings.
Great food and service. Celebrated my wife birthday for second year in a row here. Our waiter Sam was the best!!!
Great experience. Food and service were really good.
We have been to Oak several times and each time has been consistently perfect. When we go, it's usually some sort of celebration, i.e. birthday, anniversary, holiday...the staff is courteous and attentive. Zuri was our server this time, and he did a fantastic job taking care of us. The dry aged NY strip steak was flavorful and the petite filet very tender. Would prefer no cauliflower in the brussel sprouts dish but was still a good choice. We will continue to think of Oak when we want a perfect night out.
