I love the Oak Bar ! It had been a while but ill be back soon! Grand Chic & Fun ! Amazing staff ❤️ One of my Top spots
I really appreciate you All at the Fairmont Copley Plaza
Thank you !
Small menu and expensive, it was ok
Always a winner!
They never disappoints
Warm and inviting. Reasonably priced. And delicious
Great service. Felt comfortable with COVID protocols. Food very good but pricey.
Went for brunch after a wedding the day before. Fabulous experience!
A beautiful restaurant with great service and an incredible brunch menu
We loved the bar. It’s beautiful! Drinks were great and the setting just was just very enjoyable.
what a charming space.. very romantic!! the Service was great and our servers were gracious enough to move us to a table we really wanted. as an out of towner trying to take in the experience, I really appreciated it the gesture. I couldn’t take enough pictures it’s attached to a beautiful hotel I highly recommend visiting this place when you are in Boston.
service was excellent and felt very safe...food was great, thank you for a wonderful lunch!
Good clam chowder and salad, convenient for hotel guests.
Shrimp and grits, goat cheese salad, mussels were all delicious. Also loved the espresso martini. My daughter got the clam chowder and said it was very good too. Would definitely go back...
Very pleasant brunch. Food was delicious and good value. Will go back soon.
I must say a big shout out to the wonderful doormen that are at the Fairmont Copley. They are very kind and helpful and should be praised for the important work that they do because if I cannot have convenience parking at a location, I will not stay nor dine there- no matter how five-star it may be.
My boyfriend and I went to Oak Long Bar for our anniversary recently and absolutely loved our experience! The drinks were delicious, the food was excellent and priced what we felt was very appropriate, and the ambiance was lovely! My only note is that the music was a bit too loud but not enough to distract from the experience. My boyfriend and I agreed it was definitely a place we’d go back to! Definitely recommended!
The restaurant was very loud. Service was slow — after 30 min we still had not gotten our drinks or placed an order for food. Meanwhile, our waiter had visited the bachelorette table next to use with 3 rounds of drinks.
Great history, service. $$$ but worth it.
The ambience was cool and the drinks were delicious, but the food was really lacking in quality and creativity. The service was also pretty poor. I'd go back if their items were a good $2-5 less, but at the current price point it's not worth what you get.
Excellent location - we loved getting to visit this beautiful restaurant for a tasty meal and a great bottle of wine. Love that there is a mixed crowd - some casual travelers, some dressed for an occasion. Casual but elegant!
A limited pandemic menu, same for lunch and for dinner. Good quality but limited choice. Sort of noisy indoors. I was also put off to have my martini served in a coupe rather than a martini glass. Picky, I know, but it isn't the same.
The drinks were great. The waitress was flight and inept. The lobster roll was inedible, unfortunately. Bad fishy smell. Won't be back. Was so looking forward to it..too.
Great food, service, atmosphere! Everything was amazing, we’ll be back for sure!
We were so disappointed with the service, food and super loud noise. Our server was disengaged and slow. He left our SALAD under a warmer (it had grilled chicken) for 20-30 min. We watched it sit there. The burger was over cooked and the peach and burratta salad was mainly tomatoes. The manager took care of things but I don’t think I will go back.
I went online for reservations, easily done and called to make a headcount change without a h,itch. The service was wonderful, the prices very fair and the food was excellent!
Service was impeccable, as usual!
Brunch was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting in the area. Service was excellent.
lovely afternoon of cocktails and nibbles in a gorgeous atmosphere
Met some friends here for drinks and light dinner. We had hoped to eat outside but it had rained in the morning and the patio area was not set up. No problem because it was late afternoon and the bar was not crowded. Ordered a lovely bottle of sauvignon blanc, two salads (both delicious and enough to serve the three of us) and the lobster pizza which was fabulous. We sat for over two hours and the wait staff were appropriately attentive but not overbearing. It was wonderful.
Food was very good but we had to flag someone down after waiting over 10 minutes after being seated. Service from that point on was great, the food was as well.
It was a birthday celebration fir my sister and the Oak Room never disappoints!
Our server John was great. We love the Oak Long Bar. The drinks are great and the service is always on point. A plus that we got married at the Fairmont, so we like to come back and celebrate.
Terrible service! I don’t care about service in the pandemic but I had to flag them down at 8pm to take our food order for a 7pm reservation. We asked for another minute to decide at like 7:02 when she first tried to take our order but then she never came back. I could overlook this if the food was good but it really wasn’t flavorful, just fancy and expensive. The steak and halibut were cooked well but didn’t taste great. The clam chowder was tasty but too thick and like a three ounce portion. It’s my fault for going somewhere that had a same day reservation available!
Might be that the restaurant is understaffed but I was seated at my table for lunch and was surrounded by tables containing breakfast leftovers for a long time before things were cleaned up. I didn’t feel that the level of service was what I have come to expect from Oak Long Bar and I’m a regular.
Everything was excellent, service was very good and polite.
Service was a bit slow due to volume but overal very good. Food was fantastic
Great place to eat. Beautiful hotel. best in Boston. Your dining experience depends on what table you get. Some tables have much better ambiance than others. We had reservations and got a bad table. We asked to change and they gave us a different table with a time limit. That was annoying, but we had a very nice meal.
Stayed at hotel, thought it would be easy to have a quick dinner, especially after seeing the glorious pics of the OAK Long Bar. Did not meet my expectations, its a glorified bar, with just that.... bar food. Waiter was nice but forgot our appetizers. No mention of the the untouched food on my plate. Drinks only kind of place, have the burger if hungry.
