The staff was wonderful— friendly, helpful with the menu, and made our birthday dinner something special! Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely go back next time we visit Laguna Beach!

Food and service were outstanding! Ambiance was wonderful with outdoor seating. The oysters were the best i have had! My daughter ordered a veggie burger. Later they told us that they were out of veggie patties when our food was ready. However, they promptly took a different order from her, comped her meal and brought the food out quickly. EXCELLENT SERVICE! Very kind and friendly staff. The chocolate dessert was AMAZING! Looking forward to returning!

From the door to your table, everyone was friendly. We had good recommendations. Food was amazing! (short rib tacos were delicious and satisfying). The view is calming and the atmosphere is chill.

For drinks, my gf ordered the Staycation.. so good!

Great vibe and had a chance to meet the Owner, Rosemary. She was out bussing tables, delivering drinks from the bar and saying hello to patrons. It's great to see an owner so hands on! The food is next level amazing- taco flight and chicken & waffles I highly recco! The restaurant vibe was also awesome!

I’m not sure where to start. It took 20 Minutes from when we were seated (at a dirty, unset table) for our server to greet us, our waters took nearly 15 minutes more. At one point I wasn’t sure if anyone knew we had been seated. We ordered 2 appetizers immediately. The first arrived somewhat promptly, the second (an order of tacos) was nowhere to be seen after our first appetizer had been long cleared from the table. I had to inquire with the manager where said appetizer was. It eventually showed up with no acknowledgment for the massive delay. We put in for our entree (a burger and side of Brussels). Not surprisingly, the burger took FOREVER. We ordered it cooked medium, it arrived well done. Our server never checked on us after he dropped our food, so I was unable to let him know about the burger and didn’t want to have to wait for a new one. I have dined here multiple times prior, this was unlike any experience I have had. I am so disappointed with the lack of service, and quality of food. As we were leaving, the manager said “how was everything” I said “just alright” and he made no attempt to follow-up with me after that. They comped the tacos (let us know as he was delivering our much-delayed and incorrectly-cooked burger), but honestly I would have rather just had my food cooked correctly and not felt like we had been forgotten at the table. Our dinner took TWO HOURS from start to finish, and this was solely because of the delayed service. It should not take that long to order and receive: 2 appetizers, 1 entree, and a side.

Oak still has a great menu offering despite COVID-19 impacts. The Calamari was outstanding as well as the shrimp tacos. We set on the veranda (recommended), which had great ocean view at lunch!

Waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Food was outstanding. Due to COVID the doors were open resulting in chilly dining accompanied by extremely loud street traffic. Guessing the ambiance will be much better after COVID is in the rearview.

Food was wonderful...short handed for some reason, but staff that was there did a great job under those circumstances. Definitely a keeper and we'll be back.

Such a great experience! Javi was a wonderful server, Rosemary was excellent upon arrival! Super clean, fun and laid back. Great food and drinks and wonderful view! This will be our new go to spot in LB!

Oak is one of my favorite restaurants! When you walk in, it’s open with a super cool modern beach vibe and beautiful ocean views from the patio. The staff is friendly and delivers excellent service. And the food is outstanding! I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and it was cooked to melt in your mouth perfection. I’ll definitely be back soon!

We had an incredible experience at the Oak. The Chicken sandwich and meatballs are a must --- especially on the patio at Sunset! Highly recommend.

During covid, tables are very close together “definitely not 6 feet apart”, food was great, service was great. It gets really hot after 1pm even with umbrella.

First time here and it didn’t disappoint. Brunch was delicious, we got there a little earlier and they sat us right away. The staff were all great! I would definitely be coming back.

Went for dinner everyone was nice and the service was great my husband had the Taco platter and I had the linguine with clams and both were excellent so much that we went back the next day to watch the Steelers game and have lunch the staff is wonderful will definitely go back.
