Cheddar, Swiss, Muenster, Mozzarella, Bier Cheese Sauce
The service at Oak Barrel was friendly and we got our food in a timely manner.
The same shrimp they use for the bang shrimp is the same shrimp they use for their po boy roll. Bread was dry. Toooooo much cheese on the burger. The drinks were terrible. No flavor in them at all, just pure alcohol. Didn’t even finish them. I don’t suggest this restaurant sorry
Good spot to eat before events at FiServe Forum. Burger and fries were delicious!
Nice dinner before an evening play!
Quality and quantity of the food needs to be worked on
Spending $175 for a family of 4
And the sandwiches looked very sad in the price point
Food was delicious - but definitely not “spicy/hot” like advertised. Drinks weren’t the greatest - out of many things for specialty drinks. Service was so-so.
Excellent food & drink specials. Service was also outstanding.
It was delicious! We went there before the Globetrotter's game on New Years Eve and the waitress was very nice, checked back on us plenty. The food came quickly, it was great and much appreciated since we had plenty of time to get to the game. Very close if you want to grab a bite or a drink before going to Fiserv. We look forward to our next visit!
Great food. Good service. It was cold in the restaurant, so we rushed to leave. We ordered coffee to warm up, but it was lukewarm at best, so not much help.
Not a failure by any means. We’d go back. It’s just that it is so close to hitting all the marks that it’s worth commenting.
Great food and drink selection along with amazing service. Will go back soon
The amazing service and graciousness floored us. We were a little bit late for our reservations after the Nutcracker. When we arrived, our table already had water and a delicious basket of popcorn waiting for us. Our server was as sweet and accommodating as she could be and seriously, best cheese curds we've ever had. We all enjoyed the pizzas, apps, drinks and fun atmosphere, but honestly in this weird and uncertain environment where so many places are stressful - we give 100% props to this happy and relaxing and joyful place. I can't wait to return, thank you to the awesome staff for creating a fab experience for my family. xoxo
Food took an hour then came out cold and unappetizing. Service started well but progressively got slower. Really wanted to like this place, but sadly I will not return.

Average service, terrible food. Half was served while the other half waited. Some was cold. Won't do it again.

My husband and I had dinner here prior to a concert. It was a weekday so not very busy. I’d say in general that it’s a bar that serves good burgers and sandwiches. There are lots of beers on tap and many options in the can but there is only one kind of wine. I would consider this a place to have a drink and apps or if you are a burger person which my husband is, I am not. I did appreciate the attentive service.
Everything was good e except they were out of several menu items - both wine and food.
Not a huge space but they make the most of it, great drink selection and large menu, our food was outstanding. Service was friendly, we shall return!
Great pre-game spot, loved the pretzel sticks, and the waffle ice cream dessert!!
Wonderful experience! We arrived early on a busy night and they were able to accommodate us. Food and drinks were delicious and came out quickly!
Great cheese curds!
First time here. Great food and Cassidy was a great server. We will come back again
Great food, great drinks
Great experience. We had two members of the party with food allergies and the staff was very accommodating. Highly recommend!
Great service and food to kick off a Sunday!
Very unique atmosphere!! Absolutely loved. Staff is friendly and great!!! (Very pretty also)
We had dinner before a concert and really loved the music selection Oak Barrel was playing that paired well with the concert! Food and service was amazing as usual!
Our first time to Milwaukee and we were NOT disappointed. Food was amazing, staff was very welcoming and attentive. Couldn't ask for more.
I went here with my boyfriend. We had a great time! It is a causal bar dining setting. The server was attentive and kind. We had a couple of Cocktails and we both got burgers with fries. I got the signature burger that came with a garlic aioli 10/10. They also give you this delicious bacon fat popcorn right as you sit down. We will definitely be coming here again!
The craft cocktails were delicious. Everything on the menu looked amazing. Food was delicious and portion sizes were great. My go-to before every bucks game!
Food was great just as it always is.
The staff was friendly. There were 4 people in our party. Our appetizers arrived fairly quickly but it took 45 minutes to receive our entrees (burgers) after placing our order. The food was ok to good, but not great. There were several tables finishing their meals when we arrived, with only two other parties (of 2) placing orders around the same time. The bar was moderately busy. While it is a pub, the music was so loud that it felt as if we were shouting to have a conversation. It was not the worst service I have experienced. However, we only moderately enjoyed our food and service was a bit slow so I don't anticipate returning.
Let's start with the good - service here is fantastic. Attentive, proactive, kind, you name it...our server had it in spades. The food is, and this is an understatement of great proportion, terrible. The "Kentucky fried bacon" is a horribly cooked pork belly, cut into fat slices, wrapped in panko, and served with what I can only assume was meant to be some kind of house ranch...it tasted like tartar sauce. Our table of 4 took a total of 3 bites and stacked our plates. Onto the brunch menu! The cook has seemingly never met something that they couldn't overcook. Breakfast sausage cooked to dry meal encased in leather, scrambled eggs cooked to styrofoam consistency, breakfast burger cooked past well done, breakfast potatoes (keep in mind these are clearly cubed from a freezer bag) fried to until they were like trying to eat a bouillon cube. The pancakes were tasteless, dry, and the syrup had settled back to brown sugar and liquid in a cup...this was the highlight of the meal...a sad state to say the least. We were glad to leave a hefty tip for our server - she deserves a bronze star - but left hungry and nearly $100 poorer. This place appears to be propped up by specials like bottomless mimosas and bloodies...Our recommendation: Go to drink and then get a meal someplace down the street.
Our server thought of everything before we did. She was excellent.
We both enjoyed the food we had. Italian beef sandwich and Oak barrel burger with sweet potato fries.
Need sweeter orange juice and better champagne for mimosas. They were sour n burning.
Very cool place. We had to get to an event at the Fiserv Center and we had no problem eating and getting there on time. Set a reservation as the place is popular. The only real drawback was that they were out of bone-in chicken wings when we got there for a 4 PM reservation on a Saturday. That seemed odd since it is one of the items the place is known for. Maybe it's was due to "supply chain" issue like many restaurants are experiencing these days. Don't know. Otherwise, I would totally recommend this place.
The wait staff, bartender and concierge woman were all wonderful!
A couple of issues with the orders, but the manager solved them quickly. Music was a bit loud to hear conversation at the table with a big group, but overall great place!
After waiting an hour and ten minutes for our food, we asked them to box it so we could leave. We had to wait an additional 20 minutes. One and a half hour wait for 5 hamburgers and a small pizza is unacceptable. The restaurant wasn’t even that crowded, many empty tables. Will not go back or recommend it. There was nothing positive about our experience.
