   Angela the manager is a favorite. Always a very attentive wait staff and reception here. We love it. Great local dining.

   We went later in the evening and our server was more tentative to her side work than serving her tables. We’ve been here a few times and we usually have such a great experience, this time the kitchen was off and the service.

   I had the steak frites the first time and they were so good! Veggies were super fresh on the side. Second time I went I had the seared tuna salad and it was good too, would prefer the steak though. My friend had the salmon which had a great sauce and also the veggies!

   Another great experience at Oak and Main. Great service and atmosphere. Moderate noise level so you can have a conversation without yelling. Lively bar and outdoor area and nicely priced menu with a variety of interesting dishes. Roanoke is a little gem with shops and restaurants.

   I’ve been here multiple times since it had opened and the quality of service, drinks, and food has gone down consistently every time. We had a 2pm reservation which ended up being a perfect time slot because the restaurant slowed down quite a bit after the Easter Brunch/Lunch rush and we were seated immediately at our reservation time! Server was kind and got our drink order immediately but then service went down tremendously. 4 drinks took over 20 minutes to get to us. Espresso martinis were fair but the Bloody Mary was undrinkable, we let our server know when she checked back for our food order about 10 mins after we got our drinks finally. Another 15 minutes and drinks are empty but our server had not checked in on us. Finally food comes out and we order more drinks: a margarita and a beer. We taste the food maybe 1 minute after it’s on the table - I ordered the prime rib meal and it came out stone cold. Waited for server to come back which took another 10 minutes (she didn’t so I had to grab a host) and had it sent back which was frustrating because almost everyone at the table had already made it through about half their meal. The meal was taken back and the manager did not come speak directly to the table but we were told I could get something else to replace the prime rib. I declined because the food had taken a long time to come out and my party was almost done with their meals at this point. We realized while we were checking out that the margarita ordered never made it to the table. Overall - I would no longer recommend dining at Oak and Main which is so sad because a few months ago I would have given it 5 stars! Hopefully service goes back up and the pacing of the experience improves, but for now…sadly won’t be back.

   Oak and Maine… Outstanding service and food. An awesome combination! Try the French dip sandwich. Brussels sprouts are a must.

    Great food and service and atmosphere! Outdoor dining and cozy booths inside. Not too noisy. All around a great menu and experience! Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to answer questions etc.
