This was the first time our family visited and it was a great experience. I made a reservation to celebrate my fiancé’s graduation from his Master’s program and needed to update it to accommodate more family members. I called earlier in the day and the process to update our reservation was seem-less. Our waitress Emily was wonderful and very helpful. She made sure we all understood the menu and gave us great recommendations. We loved the food and atmosphere and will definitely come back.

Our first visit to O-Ku was wonderful! Our server was amazing and the food was creative, fresh, and flavorful. Must-try items are the Thai Me Up cocktail, the wagyu tartare, the yellowtail collar, the lemon salmon maki, and the house donuts. Will be returning for another visit ASAP!

I made reservations for our 5th wedding anniversary. The ambiance was great. They seated us at a little booth away from the regular tables for some privacy so we appreciated that. Our server was very attentive to us. She brought us some bubbly to celebrate, and then we got complimentary dessert at the end. We enjoyed the food, but we thought it was a little too expensive for the price compared to other places that serves high quality sushi.

This was our second time eating at O-Ku so it made a good first impression. The decor is beautiful and the service staff polite. However, my husbands meal was so heavy and over seasoned that he couldn’t have more than a few bites. When the waitress brought over the check he still had a full plate of food and she didn’t think twice about asking ‘how it was’ when he said he had no interest in taking it home. At a restaurant such as this it’s the little things and I don’t think we will be back again.

Everything we ordered was phenomenal! Started with some dumplings, good crisp on the outside but still tender on the inside and very flavorful. We got three different rolls, and the combo of nigiri. Everything was fresh and delicious! The only thing I was underwhelmed by was the toro but maybe I had just built it up in my head having never had it. Do yourself a favor and get the wagyu nigiri though! Meant to get pictures but everything looked so good when it came out we dove right in!

Food and service is superb. Noise is average. Expensive, but probably worth it. Server was excellent. Rest of the staff weren’t particularly warm nor inviting when we entered and left and that kinda spoiled what would have been a perfect experience. A simple hello and smile goes a long ways when you’ve never dined there before.
