I celebrated my birthday here with my mother and boyfriend. One of the most gorgeous restaurants I’ve ever seen. The ambience is top notch. You are greeted very warmly right from the door. Trey gave us impecable service and amazing recommendations. O-ku Charlotte loves to make people feel special for their special events :). Every single thing we ate we adored. 11/10 experience.

We had an excellent dinner. The food was great, the Crudo was our favorite appetizer, we also had the Bluefin Tuna Carpaccio and Rock Shrimp and both were good! The volcano roll and the Tuna Hakozushi were both excellent. And the service was top notch. It was absolutely freezing in the restaurant. So just be aware. Maybe that was a one off or just how it always is. We missed some of our old favorite Tuna roll options, seems like they used to have more Tuna options than they did last night, but maybe we are mistaken . We were celebrating a birthday and they did make it very special! We Appreciated that! It was a good night out and everyone was pleased with their meal.

Always love O-Ku! I visit often in Charlotte, Charleston and Greenville! Delicious and fresh sashimi, great vibe, and fantastic service. Treated our Godson this time and he loved it too. Thank you!

Our edamame with truffle oil & sea salt appetizer was fantastic, followed by delicious avocado & spring rolls. Carson provided attentive service. Assistant Manager, Will, stopped by to greet & welcome us, which was a nice touch. Sorry, no pics…locusts struck quickly!

We went for our anniversary and every single person that we interacted with wished us a Happy Anniversary. So sweet. And the chef gave us a special nigiri to try with the glass of champagne we were gifted. It was delicious. As was every single other thing we had that night, my favorites were the Get In My Belly Roll, the Potato Roll. My husband worked with our fabulous server to get a nigiri tasting menu that he enjoyed and loved the Duck Buns. I hesitate on it all not being five stars only because the table we were seated at is kind of in an awkward spot next to the entry way to the restrooms but that minor inconvenience failed in comparison to everything else and it was not a problem in the grand scheme of our experience. We don’t live here, but if we did, rest assured we would be back as regulars!
