Great food. Wonderful atmosphere. The rooftop bar was great!
Great food and service, cool vibe upstairs with amazing views. We loved it.
Great food and service. Every time. Be sure to sit at the bar and be entertained by the cool staff.
Server Carly was great. Attentive. Got our order right. Very pleasant. Also, the two hostess were great too. Good vibes!
Phenomenal service, GREAT food, the sweetest manager that made my friends birthday dinner feel extra special. Highly recommend the Hamachi Carpaccio as a starter to kick it all off!
nice location, view to the city a bit obstructed due to construction on rooftop. but still looks nice.
Food is good, a bit pricey but taste good. I think a bit high due to location.
This was my first visit to O’ku and it did not disappoint! We were early but they were able to accommodate at us at the bar which was socially distanced. The service was amazing, attentive but not overwhelming. The food was outstanding! I’ve told everyone about it that I’ve seen today, absolutely delicious! Good wine list and the desserts did not disappoint! Perfect evening!
Overall it was a wonderful experience! I had the salmon + avocado roll and I was surprisingly disappointed, I order the same thing for the same price at a sushi place near me and it tastes twice as good. The flavor just wasn’t there. The pricing was ok for the quality, I can only speak for the sushi I ate. It took about 30-45 minutes to get our orders which provided enough time for conversation. The energy of this restaurant is a very nice, dark, chill ambiance, a perfect to start your night. The staff was super kind and funny.
Excellent food and service!!!
Been going here since it opened. Food is always so good and our wait staff was great
Super excited to go to O-Ku to see the rooftop. Made a reservation with an outdoor table request only to find out they only seat reservations inside, bummer! They were out of the first 2 bottles of wine we tried to order so we went with our third choice. They were also out of dumplings on a Saturday night - what! Kind of disappointed with the missing menu items but what we did end up getting was really good. Three of the tuna rolls, miso soup, and edamame.
The food was exceptional! The sushi was fresh and the service was amazing. We had multiple cocktails that were also well executed.
Reservation does not apply to rooftop tables, which was disappointing as we wanted a rooftop reservation. While the overall service was fair, I felt that not enough was done to keep things sanitary (e.g. tables wiped down using just a wet rag, no visible sanitizing solution or cleaning agent)
We made a reservation for 5pm however the upstairs patio is first come, first serve so we didn't end up needing a reservation after all. Since they open at 5pm we had the choice of seating. Only about 7 tables up there so plan early and accordingly. The view was mainly of the large construction zone they call Howell Mill. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl and the food arrived quickly however was not hot. Room temperature at best even though it was supposed to be a hot entree. Food was fresh and tasty though. My friend and I lingered and the waitress seemed a little miffed that we didn't finish our food and leave. We kept ordering drinks so not sure what the problem was. Bathrooms are downstairs and I don't remember seeing an elevator so keep that in mind should you have issues walking steps. Overall, not awful but probably won't be dying to go back.
Food was excellent but took a long time. Manager discounted check 25% for idelay.
Great venue and they cater well to a late evening crowd. However, some menu items weren't available. With that said though, it's nice to know they have fresh ingredients arriving frequently.
Love this place and will continue to dine here! Pretty good service and the food is always great.
Had a great time, food was great and our server Jack was excellent! Only thing I missed was the Valet, as finding a parking spot was a bit challenging. All in all looking forward to my next visit.
Every time I go to O-Ku I have the best time! The staff treats everyone like family and the food is wonderful!
The black magic is worth the hype!! Would definitely go again. The cocktails are really good as well.
Great! Food was delicious and the drinks. Sad about apartments under construction blocking the view of the beautiful Atlanta sky line.
Phenomenal sushi and experience. We did the chefs multi course dinner. It did not disappoint and was an incredible amount of food. Waiter was fantastic. The food came out a bit slow, but they were busy. If your are doing the course meal expect to be there at least 2+hrs if you want to be there for each course.
One of my favorite places to go in ATL. The food is always amazing and I’ve never had bad service. Will always be our go to spot for girls night.
We haven’t had sushi in Atlanta since we would regularly go to Miso Izakaya. We have been hesitant because we loved Miso so much but the taste and quality of O-ku was comparable. Very delicious, just a little more expensive. It was very nice sitting outside on the patio and the beer selection was good Although it always blows my mind how much you pay at a restaurant compared to buying at the grocery store.
Wonderful, helpful service. Excellent food.
Excellent. We just miss the view of the city!
This is the place you want to celebrate your birthday or go on a date. Smooth and sleek vibes with the right lighting and approach to dining. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and CLEAN. Dining through the pandemic can be scary but this place goes above and beyond for it's customer. Highly recommend Richard as your server - knowledgeable about drinks and food if you aren't sure what to get. I was spoiled in Miami with excellent dining, but this ATL restaurant has made itself a staple in the city. Make a reservation because it will get busy starting at 7PM.
Great food and service!! The signature plates are amazing!!
Food was great, per usual and the service was outstanding. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience to celebrate the occasion.
It was a perfect place for a girls night. Great ambiance, food, service and a cute rooftop.
The sushi is amazing. I would highly recommend this place for a date night.
First time dining! Chris our server & the entire team were awesome! Loved the drinks & our rolls!
Salmon and Hamachi appetizers in Ponzi sauce are a must! As well as the black magic a lobster sushi roll
Staff was excellent. Our waitress's timing was impeccable. The minute we finished our soup and apps, she came out with our rolls which we great. The cocktails were tasty as well.
We had an amazing first date at Oku! Our server was fantastic and extremely attentive! Overall a great experience!
Great cocktails!! Food was very good and the service was friendly and efficient.
Service was great, sushi selection was very limited, I can't say this is a Japanese restaurant, only if you like rolls, they have a big selection of rolls.
The teriyaki chicken was good. But only a little bit for $18!
