The food was all really good and I enjoyed it all!! Our waiter was AMAZING
The pork belly was amazing!
Birthday was amazing!
The food was amazing and pretty moderately priced for such high quality sushi. They are also able to accommodate shellfish allergies!
Music was too loud! Could not hear our people across round table at all & had to yell for them to hear us.
Great drinks, great view, amazingly fresh sashimi.. but everything else seems like they are trying too hard to be unique. The rolls are horrendous with so many weird ingredients not found in most sushi establishments and trying to make it work. It just doesn’t.
The food was “chef’s kiss”! Delicious. Great view and service
Fantastic experience celebrating a new job.
Wonderful fresh tasting sushi and drink options. Have been multiple times and have tried all sushi rolls, all have been delicious
First time at O-ku, Britany was our waitress she was great, very attentive and gave us great recommendations. Sushi was delicious and cocktails amazing. Definitely will try their other locations hopefully in NC next
Great restaurant. Went for a birthday, waiter was very attentive despite covering a lot of tables, and the sushi was fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend for a date night or celebration.
service and staff was terrible, everyone working had an attitude and was drunk. the restaurant is not accessible for people with disabilities.
Super disappointed in this restaurant. I kept hearing about O-Ku and finally decided to give it a try, but I wish I hadn’t. First, we were running late to our reservation because traffic was horrible. I called the restaurant to let them know that we were on the way but running late (atl traffic is so unpredictable). The lady tells me “well, we can only hold your reservation for 15-20 mins”, I said ok we are doing our best to get there ASAP. When we arrive, the restaurant looks dead. Hardly anyone there, and the vibe seemed like the restaurant was literally closed. I checked in for our reservation and the hostess says to give her a few minutes to get our table together. We were then approached by what I am assuming is a manager who says because we were late, even though we called, they gave our table away. I asked if they could still seat us, since we called and have a heads up, AND there were several completely empty tables available, and she said no. She sent us to the roof to see if there was any seating available up there. I ended up going back down and asking a different manager who was apologetic and sat us immediately in the dining room.
Once seated, our server was nice. He was pretty responsive and gave lots of recommendations. However, the food itself was pretty awful. I would compare my sushi roll to something you can get at the grocery store. It was lacking freshness and flavor. We also got the rock shrimp tempura which was not tempura *at all*, but more a soggy, saucy shrimp dish. The crispy rice was not crispy at all, either. Instead it was a fluffy, thick, battery ball, and all you could taste was batter. The cocktails were ok.
Overall, I would the restaurant to be overrated. The food was not even close to its competitors - Umi is SO much better, in every way. I’ve even found that some of the smaller, less fancy sushi spots around town have better food and service. The vibe wasn’t impressive and the lady at the front check in was frankly rude.
We ordered 3 omakase, and it took 1hr and 30 mins to see first 2 course. The foods tasted great, but way we have been treated by chef was brutal.
Don't celebrate your birthday there... food is amazing but the lack of attention and poooooor service will ruin your celebration :(
Amazing food quick service everything’s definitely pricy but well worth it
Birthday - awesome experience. Would recommend
Always love o-ku! Great food and great service.
Appetizers were fantastic!! Our waiter was fabulous. Some of the entrees were a little underwhelming. Upbeat and loud atmosphere.
We had amazing first time experience here. Our server Isabelle was truly the best. Fresh seafood and an excellent time. Ask for Isabelle!
Had an amazing night! Extremely good food and even better service. Surprised us with a complimentary appetizer for being first timers on our date night.
Our server (Yaya) was the best and the food was incredible. Recommendations: Chrysanthemum Water Sake (filtered), Mt Fuji & Black Magic rolls, Salmon Usuzukuri.
It was ok. I was looking for a replacement for Eight sushi since it’s closed rn, the rooftop patio was cool but the sushi was nothing to write home about and didn’t seem like the fish was fresh.
The food, drinks and service were wonderful as always. A favorite go-to spot in the city.
Excellent service in a well-appointed space with great design, great cocktails and great sushi.
Had a reservation in the dining room but went up to the rooftop to try to grab a seat there. Had appetizers and cocktails at the bar while we waited for a rooftop table to open up. There was a mixup and we ended up shifting back to the dining room, but the staff was amazing at making it right. Chef sent out a delicious two piece off-menu sashimi gratis that was incredible.
Things happen. It’s how you deal with them that matters. And they were on their game.
Now about the sushi. Very well-prepared. Everything. The Follow the Yellow Brick Roll was stunning. The hint of thin lemon peel put it over the top. Try it.
The Crème de la Crème also delivers. Literally melts in your mouth and is worth the price for the experience and flavor.
Cocktails: Had so many. They were all outstanding.
Vibe: Totally on-spot. Buzzing but not overly loud. Just lots of people having great sushi and talking. Which is what it’s all about.
The overall experience was great. Our server was very attentive and informative. The drinks were strong and amazing. The sushi however was just mediocre. I’d go back based on the service alone, not the sushi.
I love the ambiance. Great food and bar service.
Excellent quality. Everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend.
Customer service and food is great!!
Great food and amazing drinks! The staff on the roof deck was less than accommodating and the view is over rated, once seated downstairs the service was great and our server was very knowledgeable!
Amazing food, so delicious! The staff were all super friendly, and overall the entire experience was perfect. Definitely recommend!
The service was absolutely amazing!
Here for a birthday and it was great.
Food is always amazing so you really can’t go wrong when coming here.
Usually service is good but this time around the service was really slow and felt like we were not getting much focus. But that said I’d still come back and it was probably just a super busy night.
10/10 would recommend coming here. Rooftop is dope too.
One of our favorite places in Atlanta!
Food was excellent. We should have order all at once instead of in stages.
fancy words would describe how great my experience was at o-ku.
It was date night for my lady and I. It was an awesome place for this occasion. The crispy rice appetizer was a great choice as well as the Black Magic box roll. Everything was so wonderful and our waitress was spot on with food and drink suggestions. Thanks so much for a great dining experience!
Service was good, nice atmosphere…food and drinks were just ok, need more options on the menu. Seems like every menu item used same ingredients.
Probably my 10th time being there. The sushi is always fresh and the service has always been great! Richard is a fantastic server!
The drinks were phenomenal and the sushi was oh so fresh! The servers were excellent and extremely helpful.
