O-Ku - Atlanta
All Nigiri & Sashimi
Excludes tobiko, ikura & tamago. See dinner menu for full list
It was wonderful! I loved the food and the ambience!
We requested outdoor seating to only find out our reservation didn’t apply to the rooftop. Didn’t expect a 45 minute wait for a milestone celebration. Website should be updated to let customers know what to expect. Everyone who came was as surprised as we were.
The food and service was amazing! We celebrated my boyfriend birthday and our server Julie was great. She made sure our first time was a one to remember!
This place was amazing! Great service and even better food and drinks!
Oku is always excellent, highly recommend the salmon appetizer and lobster box sushi. All the cocktails are wonderful.
Lately though they’re a bit understaffed, but I’m sure this will correct over time.
The hostess accommodated our party right away. The waitress Brittany did not smile but was pleasant. We asked the meaning of O-Ku and she did not know nor seemed interested in trying to find out the answer. We googled the answer & told her but she was not really care. The sushi rolls were good but the crispy rice was not very tasty. The drinks were very pretty good.
They were very under staffed. We had to wait to sit for almost 30 min, even thought we had a reservation. Food took forever, and waiter wasn’t very attentive. Usually my experience here is really good and the food is usually great, but this time my food tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. I was disappointed with this latest experience contrary to my many other times I have been.
Dinner was great! I was only sad that they stopped offering their happy hour special.
O-ku exceeded my expectations! It was my birthday and they went above and beyond to make me feel special. The food was PHENOMENAL. As a huge sushi fan, I can truly say this is the best place I’ve been to (& I’ve lived in Chicago, and LA). I highly recommend the Uni. It was imported from Japan the night I went and it melts in your mouth. I also had the dumplings, rainbow roll, and black magic roll. Very friendly staff. Wonderful all around :)
Great quality food, and the service was outstanding
The service was wonderful, server was super attentive and made excellent suggestions. The menu was original, fish very fresh
Always a favorite for sushi. They also have a great selection of wines.
Each O-Ku location I have been to has outstanding customer service. Each person you interact with makes it a point to remember personal details. They go above and beyond with the hospitality.
Our server was awesome and the food was truly top notch. The food was a bit slow to come out but the server was very attentive the whole time. Such a wonderful experience!!
One of the best sushi spots in Atlanta. The service was a little off, but most places are struggling with help. And my the Black Magic is delish!
Amazing experience always going to visit OKU Atlanta!
This was a date and our first time there. I think we expected more from the rooftop experience than is hyped about. We got there an hour early for our reservation to enjoy the rooftop. It was small with clear panels up that obstructed views and the wind. We sat at the bar and waited at least 30 mins before we were able to order a drink. Got the drinks and then when I reservations time came up there was a table free to eat on the rooftop. We decided to stay up there. We were seated and kinda just left. We had to flag staff down to order more drinks, get eating utensils and order our food. On a date so not in a hurry but still expected to have good service. The food was pretty but just ok. It lacked flavor. I wouldn’t suggest it as I have a high standard when I drive an hour for a dinner experience. If you live close and want mediocre food with no service, then it’s a fine choice.
Very, very cold in the restaurant. Too cold. Impacted the dinner
Food was excellent! Waiter was great! My son is visiting from LA and we always make this place for dinner!
Food was okay. The service left much to be desired. I don't like to be rushed when at dinner with friends but you should not have to wait ten minutes for a bottle of wine or a drink.
Delicious, exquisite food, service was amazing. Overall a wonderful Mothers' Day experience.
Jack was an excellent server! The sushi was prepared with love and the protein was so fresh. I think the pork belly was my favorite. It literally melted in my mouth. The ambience was top tier! I’ll be back for sure
Way over priced. Drinks were $15 a piece and had no more in the glass than maybe 4 oz. I thought it was a joke. Sushi was good and the service was good, but for the price you would think you were having dinner at the Golden Buddha in Dubai or something. Our bill was $167 for two gals, not drinking heavily either.
Food and service was great. Value: We didn’t walk away full and spent over $100 but it was very high quality sushi and fish. Julian, our waiter, was simply phenomenal and delivered one of the best restaurant experiences that I’ve had. Despite a longer wait for an additional item that we tacked on at the end, it was still a great experience and we’ll be back.
our waiter was absolutely awful he forgot our food & neglected us. other tables seated after us were served before us with my food & people than ours. our food was delicious & it’s a shame we had such a bad service experience.
High-school friend in town for business.
The food and drinks delicious the service was great highly recommend it
We had a delicious meal with some of the best service we've ever had, will absolutely be returning
Oku is such a vibe. Great food, awesome drinks, the ambiance is everything, and the staff has great customer service. Highly recommend! Perfect for date night! Thank me later lol
My friend was Intown visiting her son at Emory
Great service and atmosphere. Food was great. Will be back
Really Nice Job. Food was outstanding as well as service.
Great food and ambiance. Had a 9:15 reservation and arrived early, was able to sit at the bar and have a cocktail. The hostess seated us right at 9:15 and the service was good, food was great. Would recommend for a date night or celebratory dinner.
I love the ambiance of this restaurant and the service was great. My only complaint was the food. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and it was dry, the teriyaki sauce tasted more like just soy sauce and the vegetables as well as the chicken had a burnt taste to it. I also ordered the over the rainbow sushi and it left me with no complaints but I wasn’t very impressed.
Said no reservations at 7:30 so we had to go early.. 6:00. got there and dining rooms was empty!!. Only seating was on roof while indoor dining is legal in GA. Had to sit at bar with back to view. Weather was nice and food fine but mid-quality experience.
Loved the tuna poke salad ! The sushi and sashimi very good. We thought the $25 otero spoons were not worth the $ - that was our biggest disappointment
Always an amazing experience at o-ku. Delicious and fresh fish. The o-toro spoons are a must.
Just fabulous!!! Everything is good and the service is first class!
My girlfriend and our friends came in for a date night. Richard took amazing care of us giving great recommendations from appetizers and nigiri to speciality rolls. The service was amazing while helping navigate sake for the first time and being completely personable.
