Located on the 5th floor of ONE65 San Francisco, O' is Chef Claude Le Tohic's inaugural solo venture after earning Meilleur Ouvrier de France, winning the James Beard Award for Best Chef in America and carrying the coveted 3-Michelin star rating at Joël Robuchon Las Vegas. Luxurious but not pretentious, O’ offers modern French cuisine with elegant and attentive service.

O' offers a 5-course Tasting Menu for $195, and a 9-course Grand Tasting Menu for $275. Optional wine pairings are available, along with a wine list of 900+ selections from the USA and France.

Though dinner attire is always encouraged, we ask our guests to abide by "smart casual" dress code; no shorts, t-shirts, or sandals.

    Apart from the service, which was up to what you would expect from a restaurant of such a standard, everything else fell short of expectations. Most shockingly was the bland, soulless, almost industrial food. This restaurant does not do service to French Cuisine, or to any Cuisine for that matter. The Michelin Star, which is usually a guarantee of quality could not have been more misplaced.

    This has become one of our favorite restaurants in San Francisco. The service is excellent, the food original, seasonal and beautifully presented. Best of all the wonderful combinations of tastes is one of the best experiences we have had in SF in a decade. Really top notch.

    My husband and I dined here for our anniversary and it was such a special treat! We ordered the wine pairings (one of each type) and thoroughly enjoyed the pairing with the food selection. Every bite was decadent and delicious and the service outstanding. Would highly recommend O' by Claude Le Tohic.

    Lovely experience dining at O’ — staff were so warm and welcoming. Food was fresh and tasty, a feast for the eyes as well. We are definitely coming back for the summer menu. Chef came and greeted us— he is a warm and down to earth person.

    Possibly the most spectacular dinner in my life, and I have dined all over, and most of the 3 Michelin Star restaurants in the bay. What I do not understand is how in the world can Soleil Ho of the Chronicle not include this restaurant in "Top SPLURGE Restaurants in the Bay Area"? Chef Claude Le Tohic was Joel Robuchun's chef and Joel Robuchun was the "Chef of the Century" for having more Michelin stars than any other Chef in the World. Personally I think she has an attitude torwards Classic French restaurants. Its the only explanation. Her mind is made up before she darkens the threshold of O', one of the best if not THE best restauraunt in the bay area!

    Would not recommend. $195 per person for a mediocre tasting menu and poor service. Table was not ready for 30 minutes despite making a reservation, bathroom was messy and did not have any paper towels/towels to dry your hands, waiters took our menus so we were unclear what we were eating, and we would have preferred better service and educated waiters to tell us about the ingredients, and the food that we each paid so much for. When we pay this much we expect good service and detailed explanations of each menu item but service was very poor.

    Worth the price. I would say, a one star is about right. We went here for our anniversary. They treated us like royalty. We got the 5 course tasting menu and added the cheese cart. Oh my gosh, we were so full. LOL! We had to take home the special dessert they gave us. Also the candies that came in a cart, were packed away too. The chef came by to say hello. Very nice man! We looks forward to seeing more stars added.

    Really amazing experience with top-notch service and food. They were also flexible about a pescatarian in our group and even printed a custom menu for her with the vegetarian menu including seafood. We spent five hours tasting amazing food and chatting and the servers were impeccable. There were very good cocktails too. The ambience was quiet and very pleasant. If I were back I would probably not order the wine pairing as a did, since it significantly increased the bill and I would be just as happy as having ordered a bottle.

    It was a great experience overall; however for a party of 5, it took about four hours to get through our dinner. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable but took too long between courses.

    Extraordinary not-to-be missed dining experience. The Chef is the best in the Bay Area. Artistry captures the plate with superb delicate flavors that tease the palate. A five floor culinary mecca -- deserves the highest acclaim.

    What an incredible dining experience! It definitely earns its Michelin star, and we think, deserves a second star. Each and every course was a memorable hit. One of the seafood courses (which combined tuna, lobster, scallops, salmon, oyster, and caviar) brought out the unique flavors of each item in an absolutely stunning way. Getting to the true essence of each. Amazing. And we have NEVER had more interesting bread (shiitake bread, etc.) than here. Sounds ridiculous to talk about bread for a high end restaurant, but it's truly that unique. Desserts and cheese plate were amazing. Finally, the chef came out to say hi -- we really appreciated that. He is an artist, clearly. The idea behind the multi-story building -- with a bistro, a bar, a patisserie, etc -- is fantastic. We know it's been hard in the pandemic to fully realize this vision, but we truly truly hope it survives and thrives. Mastery like this deserves it. Finally, we put four stars for 'value', which may not be totally fair, but it did feel a bit pricey. Of course, we don't understand the economics of running such a complex business like this in San Francisco, so perhaps the pricing is what it is. Congratulations to the team ... we hope you will thrive.

    With a one star Michelin rating, this restaurant was truly special. The staff, service, food and ambiance didn’t disappoint. The food and wine pairings were perfect and the chef’s melding of different ingredients were magical. A delight of the senses.

    I loved every moment from the first step I walked through the door. I arrived early enough to have a few cocktails at element where I was asked to give a few preferences of spirits and the bartender advise me of his recommendations. I had two of the three he recommended and was in love with the experience and the cocktails themselves. Then went upstairs to my reservation for the grand nine course tasting menu with the grand wine pairing. It was an experience of a lifetime and the food was worthy of even conversing with my toxic mother. I will never forget the night at all and will ensure I am there again next time I am San Francisco

    Exquisitely amazing. Chef Claude de Tohic lives up to the hype and more. We were afraid we won’t find another restaurant like Joel Robuchon’s, but it’s pretty close, if not as orgasmic. We each had the 5-course prefixed menu, which was spectacular to perfection. The bread basket was so tasty that we had to ask for seconds. Each dish was strong in uniqueness and tasteful, at the same time flows perfectly with the menu. To top it off, the mignardises cart blew us away! Still dreaming of the whole experience… Service was also impeccable to the tee. We have been to several Michelin 3-Star restaurants and this is definitely up there. Will be coming back for more!! Thank you chef Claude de Tohic and everyone at O’!

    Great ambiance and great desserts. Unfortunately, service and food did not have the polish that you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. There were bits of shell in my crab. The wait time for the final course to come was long and I had to push for explaination ofbthe choices on the dessert cart. Flavors of courses are a bit dated and not bright enough.

    Very strategic location—A block or so from Union Square with convenient parking. The food is excellent, and the quality of the ingredients is amazing as well. Chef Claude is very caring of his customers and regularly checks in on the dining room to ensure everything is on par with the restaurant's high standards. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable about the origins of the ingredients, and they generously offer complimentary fresh-baked bread as well. Definitely recommend.

    The food is wonderful and they noticed that I have alcohol allergy so all the dishes for me are made with special none alcohol ingredients. Our waiter is friendly, professional and this experience overall wonderful way beyond my expectation.

    Unforgettable anniversary celebration meal. Terrific cuisine and restaurant staff. At this pace, would not surprise us if they gain a second Michelin star in the future. Recommend to enjoy leisurely the nine-course, and with wine pairing if possible. It’s pure pleasure from beginning to end. The breads alone are sinfully delicious… and the decadent chocolates at the finish, post desserts!

    The staff were amazing but most of the food left a lot to be desired. Certain items were amazing but for the price, it isn’t the experience we’ve had before at a Michelin star restaurant. I’m hopeful that this is due to the closure they had for COVID and they will get things back up to Michelin star par!

    We went there in a group of 6 to celebrate a birthday. Upon arrival, we found handy parking next door (Ellis-Farrell) for $4/hr (after 6 pm), and walked over to One65. We were greeted at the door and invited to browse the pastry shop and upstairs bar (the Kitchen Lab and Bistro are not open yet). Bar was classy and we enjoyed a couple of wonderful cocktails. When it was time, our hostess led us to the dining room on Level 5. The place oozed class with subdued lights and posh accents. Very spacious so we felt quite by ourselves even though most tables were full. Our server, Carlo, was extremely friendly and attentive. He gave us customized menus based on our dietary restrictions. Some changes were requested so he offered to reset the menus, which took quite some time (we didn't mind). We got the 5-course with a mix of veg and regular items: - Breads: Awesome!! Especially, the buckwheat cannelle, the mushroom brioche and the croissant - Cauliflower custard: Great presentation and bread, cool custard was ok - Seafood Salad: Great presentation, lobster & scallop were great, urchin / crab / oyster were ok - Black cod: Wonderful texture and flavor - Lobster: Tasted great but a bit rich - Pineapple: Loved it! - Bon Bon cart: Overwhelming variety! Macaroons were pretty good. - Herbal tea: Great way to finish the meal - Wines: Rhone (Lionnet Brulee Cornas '13) was so-so, Bordeaux (Giscourse '15) was great Overall, food was exquisitely formulated and presented, a bit rich, a lot was going on with too many flavors and ingredients working hard together. Service was so slow that we ended up spending four and a half hours (!) which, given the time change at night, left us exhausted for next day. Some menu mistakes were made and we were disappointed to not have a birthday pastry / candle to celebrate, given the high prices for a 5-course menu. But Carlo and Jeremy (som) made the visit enjoyable so we can recommend it!!

    I booked it for our anniversary. I didn’t understand why they asked my husband’s name but when we got there and saw the menu, we were so surprised that they have customized our menu,it’s so sweet! The food is excellent. Since I’m a huge fan of One 65 bakery, it’s extra exciting that we can try almost all their signature bakery selection. Every dish is well designed and the taste great! The portions are just perfect. Dessert selection is the dream of dessert lover. Service is great. Will come back for sure
