It was very quiet and relaxed, Nuovo was a small dinning space but very spacious! You could see the chefs at work which was cool and the food was very good!

Great little Italian Bistro with top notch food and service. Staff were so very kind and helpful. They even brought out a high chair for my two year old son without having to ask . Excellent place for the family to go.

As the name suggests, this restaurant is Italian themed. My dining partner had bruschetta to start and cannelloni as her main. She declared both to be "wonderful". I myself had the soup of the day, shrimp bisque (my partner described it as "liquid Cheetohs" - in a good way :) ), and the linguine de mare (seafood) as my main. Both again, were totally delicious. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the seafood morsels (shrimp, squid, mussels, and salmon) were very fresh tasting. On a side note, they also offer an appie and main "special of the day" although I'm not sure if this is daily or just on the weekends. My only little nit is that they don't have craft beers on tap (but they do have many choices in the canned and bottled variety). Wine is also available. Prices were reasonable and the portions were very generous. We will definitely be returning to sample the other items on the menu. Totally recommend.

We always enjoy eating at Nuovo Bistro. Sad we moved away from the neighbourhood a few years back. Food and service always top notch. Just a note, if you are generally cold, ask to be seated further back in the restaurant. The window seats are very frigid, especially during the cold snap. Wish I would have asked to move since it was not a busy evening.

A wonderful local restaurant. Cozy inside and amazing server. Friendly and capable at her job. Food was hot and delicious flavours. My colleague said it was the best mushroom soup he had ever had. My gluten free corn pasta dish was exceptional. We will definitely be back.
