We specialize in authentic Neapolitan pizza, baked hot and fast in a brick oven to achieve a not-too-thick, not-to-thin chewy, smoky crust made from a recipe that's been handed down through five generations of… pizzaioli (pizza makers). Our one-of-a-kind dough is then stretched into an oblong shape, topped with the freshest ingredients available and sold al metro "by the meter" just like you would find in Italy. Party of 8. Arrived 7 pizzas and not the last one. When we asked for the remaining pizza, they said it was coming. But it wasn't and eventually arrived a half-hour later. The restaurant was almost empty. It's very expensive, and the ratio of personal pizza vs. familiar pizza doesn't make any sense; it is actually more convenient to buy a personal pizza rather than a familiar. The feeling is that they were ripping you off.

Came here with my family on Sunday as we came last time they visited and my dad really enjoyed the Cacio e Pepe. The service was pretty subpar… they definitely changed the menu or cook. The calcio e pepe was awful. The pizza was so oily. The zucchini bites were drenched in oil. I was very disappointed with the experience. Additionally, the music was extremely loud. I never like to complain about things but I wanted this to be special and it was disappointing.

We love numero 28 FH. It’s the perfect local spot for lunch or dinner. Their food is delicious and their staff is wonderful. Even the head chef came out to check on our food and ask how we were enjoying our meal. Their aperol spritz is my personal fave drink, so light and refreshing! Can’t wait to go back!

Not a good dining experience at all. The restaurant permitted 7-8-9year olds to dine at their establishment without their parents present. The parents dropped their children off to dine “down the block”...is this even legal at a restaurant that serves alcohol? I felt like I might have been in the Robert Wagner school lunch room. The kids were running from table to table, and were not well behaved; why should they be...after all, no adult supervision. The restaurant should not have permitted this and it made for the worst dining experience ever. Plus, this restaurant’s $58 pizza was less than adequate. I did say something to our waitress and she said that this group of families does this all of the time. I do not recommend this restaurant —their way way overpriced food and service were less than adequate. It was more of a “Chucky Cheese” experience for myself and my guest.

Understanding it’s outdoor dining, unfortunately this establishment has done nothing to soften the 1st Avenue noise like blocking off the open space between the street & seating as other restaurants on the avenue have done. Even a few trees would cut the noise & help guests feel like they are at their restaurant & not in the street There is also tons of bike traffic which can’t be avoided Both sadly took away from our experience The food was good, service fine During times like this it is what it is, these little things count.

Due to “covid rules” they no longer accept BYOB! Such a fun perk to coming here. Disappointed because this actually isn’t a new implemented rule and I have done byob at other restaurants this summer since outdoor dining has commenced. I asked if they could honor just this time, but no luck. Still a great dinner but beware if you were planning to BYOB like the good days! No one came to check on us after 2 hours. 4 or so tables got cleared before someone came back to us. The restaurant was not busy.

We went to the numero 29 on Carmine not first avenue. I did not know there were two of them.. But the pizza was so fresh and delicious. We ordered the 18 inch half cappriciosa and half regionale... The cheese was so incredible and the sauce, no skimping there. I have had the pizzas delivered to my home, but eating outside there is the key to the best pizza.
