   As always good food and service. Fantastic Pork and crackling. One small thing is that Roast potatoes seemed to have been re-warmed rather than fresh as outer skin very tough

   Today we were treated to the best most succulent pork I’ve ever tasted Not only that but the crackling was crispy too Best Sunday lunch in Morpeth Service with a smile professionally executed can not fault

   Always love dining at the Townhouse. Great choice of menu, excellently cooked and presented. Large portions which are too much for us older couple but apparently we can ask for smaller amounts when we visit again.

   Delicious, as always. This was about my 5th visit. The food is excellent value and great quality. Ambiance is excellent, relaxing and enjoyable.

   Our table was adjacent to a walkway and was a little cramped. Service was friendly and prompt. Our starters were prawn cocktail and ham hock. Both were very tasty. The main course for both of us was pork loin with all the trimmings. Massive amounts of vegetables and the plates were stacked high. Just felt that eating ended up being hard because there was SO much. This might sound odd to some but overloading a plate seems to make its consumption quite an effort. We had no room for a pudding and we had to leave some. I’d like to suggest that an option for small plates be offered. It seems such a waste otherwise. It’s always a nice place to eat and decent value for money.

   Hi Jan, We do have an option for smaller potions, all you have to do is ask for a half portion of your favourite roast. Although the difference in price is not much, the option is there for you, and it would make a massive difference to your dining experience. Not a lot of people give us such a low score when the food was tasty though, just because the portion was large, but i understand your point of view. Also, we offer take away boxes, so, again, the option is there. I'll make a note for your next visit, so we can serve you half portions.    Our first visit to this restaurant and what a great experience. Catered fully for my wife’s allergies, great communication, service and wonderful food. Already booked again to go back.

   Really good food, and incredible value. Service from the staff excellent, as always. If anything, some of the main courses are too large. But really tasty!
