Nui Nui Kitchen
2nd visit was as great as the first. Glad to see the restaurant full of people enjoying themselves...and their food!
The interior is very well appointed with murals and art work. The lighting is a little rough and doesn't help present the food in the correct coloring. The appetizers were all excellent and well presented. I had the red curry duck and it was very good with the red curry being very well spiced. My wife had the green curry with chicken which she very much enjoyed and it was spicy in all the right places. Our other companion was a vegan and had the general tso's tofu, while the flavor was very good the portion size was too small so she left felling a bit underwhelmed.
While overall the experience was positive we all felt the menu was somewhat lacking in selections, and our vegan friend stated that there should be a few more vegan options.
The luncheon menu is excellent. the Green Curry Bowl and the Evil Princess were delicious. We loved the Tom Yum Soup and the dumplings. It was a perfect lunch.
The staff seated us, poured water, gave us menus and disappeared to set up outdoor dining. We were ready to order, but no one noticed for about 10 minutes. It would be helpful to have a side plate on which to place utensils which have been used. After I used the knife, I could not balance It on the edge of the bowl. Ditto, the spoon and the fork.
We do love Nui Nui!
The help are very polite. The food is unbelievable great!!! I love this place!!!!! The best thai food in the area.
Food was great and our waitress was very helpful.
Will go back:)
Another Phoenixville gem. Great location, ambiance, cuisine and, service. A good value too.
Kudos to Nui and staff.
Food is fantastic with daily specials and a special Vegan Menu. Service is spot on with attentive and friendly staff. Spice level is just right. And we love that it is BYO.
We made our first visit for lunch earlier this week. The food was exceptional - great lunch specials. Wonderful space. Looking forward to bringing some friends and enjoying a dinner experience at this lovely and creative place.
The food here is amazing, and the interior is beautiful and inviting. This is our new favorite place!
Calamari was over cooked. They did correct that and it was delicious. I did not enjoy the drunken noodles to spicy.
Delicious, healthy food! Fish was cooked perfectly. Offers choices for vegans and people with gluten sensitivity.
Food was delicious. There were 4 of us and all three courses for all of us were very, very good.
The only nit is that the service was too fast, excellent but too fast. Two of us hadn't even finished apps and the main course arrived. Also, the noise level is very high. But the food was so good we'll be going back.
Nicely decorated......bar not open yet. Service was adequate though impersonal. Food was pretty good except...stay away from the salmon! Very busy on a Friday night.....very noisy. At 6:00 pm I dropped guests off in front of restaurant so they could avoid the parking hassle. Took me 30 minutes.....parked a good half mile from the place and walked half a mile. Not worth it!!!!!!
Delicious and beautifully prepared dinner but couldn’t hear ourselves think!!!
This was my third visit to the restaurant which has undergone a beautiful renovation. The food was exquisite and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this as a destination restaurant.
Nui Nui was just amazing. The food was great! This place knows how to do Thai French fusion, mainly because the wife-husband team are respectively Thai and French. But more than the food, the service was excellent! Nui came out several times to check on our table and even gave us the recipe for one of the amazing sauces. This was a special occasion dinner for us as we took our mother to celebrate her birthday and she was so enthused by the whole experience. We will definitely go back.
Love this Phoenixville Thai BYO. Food is absolutely delicious and many Vegan/Vegetarian options. Servers are very friendly and helpful. Great for couples and small groups so that you can share the starters and entrees. For quieter dining, get there early as it fills up fairly quickly on the weekend.
The newly renovated space is beautiful. The chairs are amazingly comfortable and the food outstanding. Duck spring roll, sateen veggie app, duck un a nest and curry crabcake. All wonderful and unique. Dont pass on dessert!! The chocolate mousse like cake w raspberry coolie is amazing. A must go!
The ambience is wonderful. It’s beautiful inside and everyone who worked there was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Everyone was pleased with what they ordered and the dessert presentation was beautiful.
Exceptional food and service. Great value. Would defiantly recommend and come back.
The menu was creative with new twists but still had the old favorites. A variety of items that would appeal to any individual tastes. The restaurant was busy but did not seem overwhelming or too loud. I had the beef pot and absolutely loved it. The appetizers were fantastic as well. Although right in the middle of phoenixville, we always seem to be able to find a parking spot! We truly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back for more. Thank you Nui Nui for creating such an enjoyable place for us to break bread.
Great experience! Food, service and ambiance. Dessert was phenomenal as well, highly recommend you save room.
Great food, served hot. Waitstaff wonderful, efficient and friendly.
It’s BYOB for now..
the mango cheesecake was awesome and curry dishes the best.
Recommend the lemongrass/chicken dumplings as an appetizer..
We had 18 people in our party. We ordered appetizers and entrees and shared tastes all around the table. The food was do delicious! Really everything was absolutely delicious! The service was great too! We can't wait to cone back to Nui Nui...
Food was excellent- A bit pricey (compared to Thai L'elephant) but very well done. There is nothing on their website or Open Table about it being a byob (until they get their Liquor License) so if your interested in drinking bring it.
We had the Dumplings, Duck and Short Rib pasta- all were good.
great service, good variety, and very nice presentation.
We love the newly renovated space! Our favorite dish from the night was the General Tso’s Chilean Sea Bass. My husband had the Tulip Dumplings and would get them again - had pork and water chestnuts and fried. For dessert we shared the mini lemon raspberry cake and it was perfect for sharing. The taste was light and refreshing. We are long time fans of the Thai food as well so very happy they still have a Thai Corner on the menu. Will be back!
Totally impressed. We all raved about our meals. Will be back soon especially for more dumplings!
We were very hopefully the food would have improved with the rebranding of the restaurant, but unfortunately it has not. The decor was pleasant, service was pleasant but not extremely knowledgeable. We have traveled to Thailand & Vietnam many times & notice the French influence in the food - we did not find that to be the case here. Food lacked any kind of complex or bold flavors. Desserts were brought in and just okay - they should bring them in from The Butterscotch Cafe. There were 4 of us & we had a good variety of dishes - none were noteworthy. We are huge fans of The Birchrunville Cafe so we had hopes of a better experience.
Great meal at Nui Nui. The food was excellent. There were 5 of us and everyone loved their dishes.
The food was exceptional and the service was impeccable!
Three of us went, ordered 3 appetizers and 4 entrees. The size of each was perfect. We thought we would have food left over to take home but the food was SO GOOD we just demolished it all, right there at the table. BYOB for now. Our server was adorable and did a great job. Will definitely be back!
