Way overpriced. The only “ Italian” restaurant that charges $11 for a small portion of bread. Food was just OK. Service was just OK.
Not what we expected. Really a pizza place and it is probably good. The pasta with shrimp was good, the fish special was Mahi-mahi, it was fishy and drowning in sauce, the asparagus was good. It is primarily outside and loads of families, so lots of screaming kids. The night was made by our server Helen, she rocked!
Very fast food and bar service. Food was excellent
We couldn’t have asked for a more inviting environment to enjoy our family pizza night while in Hawaii. Very appreciative of the wait staff’s energy and attentiveness.
Wonderful service and the best fish entree I have ever had!
A glorified cafeteria. The pasta was $37….5 star pricing for 1 star food and ambiance.
While the meal here was just fine, and the location beautiful, this was not the dining experience we were looking for! So many children running around unattended, looked like a Chuck E. Cheese gone wild! From the description on website, we anticipated a more low key environment. So, if you have kids, or don't mind a very loud cafeteria setting, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, choose elsewhere for better food, and quiet conversation opportunities.
Dined 2x in my week at Waikoloa. First night was a regular dinner - we had the Chicken Alfredo and the Chicken Parm - both were well portioned and tasty. My guest couldn't finish the Parmesan. On the second dine, we split a half of a roman pizza. Very tasty and nice toppings with a thicker crust. the service was very good - attentive and friendly. A small concern, the cocktails were, to put it mildly, "thin" and disappointing. We are finding this is a very bad trend in a good number of restaurants. We stuck to beer and/or wine the second night. Overall, would recommend....
Good Italian food
The food and service were great!
Menu was a bit simplistic.
The Hawaii special was very tasty but definitely felt a bit overpriced (even for fancy resort family restaurant).
Still, would go again :-)
We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary at Nui. It was perfect! Staff was kind and courteous. Food was delicious. Grateful for that special night spent together ❤
Our food was delicious and plentiful. Prices are high for Italian food but it is Hawaii. No extras, no bread included.
The wait staff was excellent and helped in guiding us with our choice. Pizza was very yummy BUT any way you look at it...........................NO pizza is worth $60.00. Or half that for half - and it is a big pizza. Half easily fed two people. I would hate to go and waste food here as it is pricy. It was like an outdoor cafe so, not like you are paying for the ambience really. Still and all, your choices at the Hilton as a guest are limited so, come prepared to pay:).
Bunch of drunk people sitting near us. Staff said nothing. Food not great for price. Pizza was good. View was awesome.
The pizza was tasty and our shared salad was good, and the setting was pretty. The restaurant was very understaffed and our waiter was a nice guy but had too many tables and too much to keep track of. We put in our drink orders first thing but didn’t receive them until after we finished our salad course (and even then I had to remind the waiter). I’m sure we would have ordered more than one drink if they had come sooner….
The food was mediocre and overpriced. We waited 30 minutes even though we had a reservation. The table was not clean and sticky. No table setting. We had to wait 20 minutes after the giid was delivered for forks and knives. Overpriced and underwhelming.
The COVID protocols were very good at this open air space, however the server was a frazzled overwhelmed mess and the food was mediocre at best. We opted for pasta and chicken dishes instead of the extremely overpriced pizzas. I don’t think I would ever be able to enjoy pizza at those absurd prices. I get it, hotel prices in Hawaii, but it’s also just pizza. I wouldn’t return.
Needs an upgrade; many menu items were out of stock. Pasta sauce not good
Fabulous dinner! Great food and great atmosphere!
The food was, in my mind, very average. Service wasn’t the greatest. Open dining....very hot without fans
Our first time eating out since the pandemic began. Good spacing between tables and the food was good. Nice garden atmosphere and excellent service. I would recommend Nui to others.
We love Nui Italian because of its excellent Roman-style pizza as well as its pastas. During our two-week stay in Hawaii, we went twice.
Best food on the island 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I try so many restaurants on the island and food didn’t take good
One of the few place open at the resort. Great staff and the food was great too.
The service was outstanding, we were pleased to have options for our dietary needs and the atmosphere was beautiful. The food was good, seasoned well & healthy.
Great food, service and ambience
Not very good. Blan and over priced.
It wasn’t crazy expensive and the food was pretty good. The service was good too and the outdoor seating was cute. The train is funky but you can walk instead.
Sticky tables and limited menu. Pizza was good.
Waitress rushed our order, food was OK, nothing special. Just really loud and noisy, for what we paid for the meal would have liked some quiet so we could talk.
Food was not hot, service was poor- very understaffed.
Awesome food and great customer service
First Italian restaurant we’ve been to that didn’t offer bread or salad with dinner, so all you get is the entree. On the upside, the food was good, but we got the impression it was pre-packaged & reheated ala Olive Garden, but several times more expensive.
Our salad and pepperoni pizza were both excellent.
Service was very weak we waited a while till we had to ask someone for a waitress or waiter. After that she was on point
Staff extremely stressed. Waiter not willing to spend any time at table. Dropped drinks and ran. Slammed down food and ran on. Usually frowning.
Tables all sticky.
Paid over $350 for small not so appetizing meals.
Hilton should be very embarrassed.
Had the garden salad which was large and good. The spaghetti and meatballs on the other hand was horrible. Meatballs were small and dried out. Asked for more sauce to make it taste better. Waitress was nice and helpful. For 29.00 dollars you should have a much better product to serve. Also no garlic bread or bread at all was offered.
Nice inside and outside under the lights. The meals can be Very expensive two meals and two drinks were $115.00. So be prepared to spend some money lol. But hey it’s not that bad and the food we have was worth it!
You can find better pasta at the frozen section of your location grocery store. We left super disappointed. I would recommend leaving the resort for dinner instead of dining here.
Waaay tooo expensive. Not worth what you pay for The wife and I spent $70 one one meal and one drink. Breakfast was even worse coast wise
