What a nice treat to find this tasty gem! The chef and owners of Nuestra Mesa have truly elevated the delicious cuisine of Mexico, presenting each dish in a manner respectful of authentic flavors, yet in a visual display that stood as it's own pleasure, complimenting all the other senses engaged during our dining experience. Our server, Jose Andres, was spectacular and deserving of mention...we will certainly be returning to again savor the delightful culinary journey through Mexico that we had the pleasure of experiencing this evening!

Our dinner was very good. Chicken enchiladas and 2 side tacos- shrimp and carne asada. Their homemade salsas were just awesome. Really enjoyed great service from our server, Maddie. She helped make it a wonderful experience to actually dine in for a change- in crazy 2020. We would certainly recommend Nuestra Mesa.

Great, authentic dishes. Cochinita Pibil is wonderful. Dont forget to try a blackberry or ginger Margarita

The staff was friendly. The drinks were ok, and the food was good , I got 4 different tacos & the meat on 2/4 was not very warm- if all the meat would have been warm it would have been great!

It was exactly what we needed on a rainy Sunday, brunch was absolutely amazing, chilaquiles and the pork Benedict and sopapilas hit the spot, will definitely continue to dine at Mesa, our waitress was very nice and made it enjoyable with small talk, she even made me a beermosa that wasn't on the brunch menu but had no problem making me one. Highly recommend.

Great food & location in old Camas. We go as often as we can.

This was one of my worst dining experiences. It took 35 minutes to get our drinks served, the chips were cold, guacamole was awful. I did not leave a tip. My brother's streak was tough and over-salted. My chille relleno had practically no batter on it. I would not eat at Nuestra Mesa again and I am recommending my friends avoid it at all costs.

Food is very tasty, drinks are great but it’s a bit expensive. Service was very slow and it was half empty but I’d go again (planning for the wait).

The food, as usual, was excellent. Delicious! The wine was not particularly good - probably a $4 quality priced at $10 per glass.

The food is very authentic, and it’s also very good. The staff is very well trained, and made us feel quite comfortable.

The food was so tasty and the craft cocktails were . The staff were all helpful and pleasant. Love the ambience.

here's the deal- we called Nuestra Mesa and got their recording saying they were open etc. I was directed to make an online reservation- so I did as you know. Well- we got there and discovered THAT THE RESTAURANT HAD BEEN CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19 AFFECTING ONE OF THE STAFF. IT HAD BEEN CLOSED SINCE JULY 19. SO THAT IS WHY I GAVE A POOR REVIEW ON TRIP ADVISOR AND TO YOU ON YOUR REQUEST .
WHY THERE WAS NO NOTIFICATION ON THEIR WEBSITE IS BEYOND ME LET ALONE THEY DID NOT EVEN TELL YOU. HUMPF

I was hoping for more....the margaritas were pretty good as were the chips and salsa (the chips were more like flour tortilla strips--almost like a pita chip?). The Poblano chicken soup which I had read on other reviews was a can't miss was terrible. Way too much cream. I ordered the chicken enchilada which was just fine, it was really just ok not anything special or anything I would have ordered if I had known what it was going to be like. Not anything too exciting. I had a fried avocado taco which was the best thing we ate. My husband got carnitas tacos which were also just ok. The service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was slightly interesting. We were only in Camas for one night so we won't ever be back. I'd probably give it one more try before going elsewhere if I was a local, but it wasn't the greatest. For drinks and chips and tacos a la carte, probably good enough.

Very pleased that we chose Nuestra Mesa for our first night out with friends. Though we stopped by a couple of times for carryout during the lockdown, there's nothing like being together in the restaurant. They are obviously working hard to with all the necessary accommodations for re-opening. I see how much effort it takes, and look forward to seeing them back at full capacity. Todd and all his staff were great--and so were the food and drinks.

I was expecting more authentic Mexican tater. Tortillas were served warm kind off cold.
Enchiladas definitely not what I was expecting.
For a person who is not familiar with real Mexican food should be fine.

Anything works for this gem

We tried all of the tacos and they were all amazing. The margaritas were delicious as well. Great way to end our day.

This restaurant is a standout in Camas and we enjoy eating here.

Mesa is such a great place to eat quality Mexican food. The choices are wide and varied and the quality just excellent. It is the happening place on the weekends in Camas. Friday was a 40 minute wait if you didn't have reservations with Open Table. We love going there and run into many of our friends out on the town.
