   NUE Elegantly Vietnamese was a delight especially for special occasions and couples date night. Elevating Vietnamese cuisine is trending among 2nd & 3rd generation entrepreneurs, let’s keep it going. . . Our night started with the convenience of a near by Modera parking garage with CHASIN50 code, this was a big plus plus. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by inviting staffs and seated promptly. LOVE the creativity in cocktails and concepts. I had the robust Fire Dragon w/ squid ink, it was divine. My husband had the Wood Snake, it was yummy. Small Bites: Pho Pate’ was the most memorable flavor profile, Seafood Cha Gio roll was spot on in terms of flavor & crispy, The octopus was perfectly charred to my taste. My husband is a picky eater, and he enjoyed the Bo Kho Pappardelle and I love the coconut risotto with Hokkaido Scallops. Thank you Alex for making our date night special!

   This is my third time here. The food is light and delicious and often surprises with the lovely combination of flavors. The cocktails are some of the best I’ve ever had - innovative and beautifully balanced. Tonight I had the avocado and crab lump soup and it was amazing. Not a cheap place but I find it well worth the cost.

   I dined here before with some friends during Restaurant Week and loved it. Decided to go here with my husband for our 22nd anniversary and we were not disappointed. Everything tasted great. The grilled oysters were phenomenal. The grill octopus was the best we’ve ever had. The seafood egg rolls were tasty. We shared the Surf & Turf and there were no complaints. To top off our celebration we ordered the yucca cake and dulce de leche ice cream and it was so yummy we were about to burst. The wait staff was attentive and our waitress surprised us by giving us our dessert on the house and a gift card to come back and we definitely will! But be prepared to drop some dough.

   Noise level high - but not annoying. The menu is very hard to read. The print is extremely small..I do not have an eyesight problem.

   This was my second visit at the Nue. The food is absolutely delicious. Our table shared the wild caught fluke, surf and turf, lobster noodles and various appetizers. Yummy!! It was way more food than we could eat. Oh well dinner for the next day 😉. Our waitress was so attentive too. This place is so cute! I will definitely come back with more friends.

   Overall experience was kinda Meh. We had very high expectations given the ratings, but just didn't come away with the best experience. Happy that we tried, but don't see us returning for the following reasons: 1) weird set-up for the dining area. We were not seated in the 'main room' which was both a disappointment and opportunity. Disappointing as we were in the 'pass thru' room (our table looking right at the door to the bathroom), but also better in that the main dining room was just one 'huge space' which was pretty noisy, not well appointed and hectic. At least our space was nicely wallpapered, and we had ample space to sit next to each other which we prefer when possible. 2) Service was excellent - our server was very attentive, and also accommodating as I think she could tell we were a bit 'surprised' when seated in our location. 3) Price/value - the food was very tasty, but it was also REALLY EXPENSIVE. Not sure all the factors above justified the current spend 4) Awkward 20% gratuity policy. I'm fine with tagging 20%, but they really pushed add'l tip for server - as the 20% was for 'everything' That's a hefty surcharge.
