Great service, amazing food. Love this place! Definitely recommended

Wonderful experience for my first dine-out since COVID. Very safe and “playing by the rules”. I felt at ease and well taken care of. The food was incredible and fast as always.

Really enjoyed dinner here - the food was fantastic, our server was lovely and it was nice and quiet. The new Covid-dining experience.

A really nice restaurant with lots of tasty gluten-free options and great service.

The mains/entree selection was a little bit small. That is why I only rated four stars overall, and not five. Food and service were both excellent.

We had a terrific meal at Nuba Gastown. The ambiance, service and food were all great. Would highly recommend it!

I’ve been to Nuba a few times and I’ve never been disappointed. I love taking friends there for their first experience. They also become lovers of this amazingly flavourful food.

We’re so happy we stumbled upon Nuba! (And that we made reservations...the line was out the door the whole night.) This is now a must-go place every time we’re in Vancouver. Le Grande Feast is the perfect variety of flavors at the right price. The service was very attentive. Definitely go if you’re thinking about it!

Arrived 20 minutes early for our reservation but was seated right away. Food was excellent. Dine out special menu was great value for money. Staff friendly. Received special accommodations when our dessert order was mixed up. Would definitely go again! Only complaint is wasn’t sure who the staff were, as they was no uniform and they were all dressed so casually lol

My wife and I had high hopes for Nuba as it was recommended by a friend with whom I usually agree when it comes to good food. However, whether it was the Gastown location versus another, a bad night or specific menu items ordered, we were underwhelmed to say the least.

The trade dress in this Lebanese hot spot left everything to be desired. There appeared to be absolutely no effort to decorate the place to be more inviting to the diners in any way. I am not one to be taken in by kitschy displays of bad stereotypical tchotchke, but a little more effort than painting the walls and the ceiling a dull beige and some random subway tiles would make it a bit more inviting.

The food was adequate, if not bland. We ordered the trio of Nuba dips which included hummus, mama dallou’ah, and carrot dip with pita. the carrot dip was actually pretty tasty, but the hummus was basically tasteless and the pita was very thin and flimsy. We also ordered the Lamb Hushwie, which was pretty good, but very one dimensional. It was supposed to come with avocado, but it only had 1 thin slice. We also ordered the Halloumi Cheese, which was good, but not enough to really offset the rest of the experience.

The one bright spot was that the staff were pleasant and very attentive. The food came out very quickly and was presented very nicely. I just wish the food lived up to its reputation and expectation.

Was there with my mom from Winnipeg. She loved the vegan options, and I loved the meat options! :)

Good food, great timing with bringing everything out. Our server was very disinterested, not rude but no welcome or anything. Would go again but would order the sharable tapas options rather than a set main dish.

Loved it and even got a comp piece of cake for my birthday. Cocktails are so so good and the food is excellent.

Both my wife and I enjoyed our visit to Nuba - Gastown. The servers were friendly and the food was fabulous. Will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic! We love it.

We needed a restaurant for before theatre at the Playhouse. This one is convenient for that. We found the atmosphere on a Saturday night to be lively and fun. The service was good and prompt. We enjoyed the Grand Feast as we do like this sort of cuisine and it was plentiful but we couldn't help but think it was somewhat overpriced for what it was. The dishes were well executed, but more or less pretty standard stuff... Overall we were happy though as everything was fresh, flavourful and healthy.

Food wise, I personally prefer Jamjar, though I found the place in Jamjar to be a bit too small and crowded.. But then ambiance wise, I love Nuba location the one in Kitsilano (by Macdonald and Broadway). .

Lovely restaurant, great staff and interesting food. Would definitely visit again.

Attentive waitstaff, good value and food was great fun environment and the basement restaurant was nicely lite and has really cool welded design metal security screens.

Solid middle-eastern inspired meal in cool setting in Gastown Vancouver.

Lovely experience. My partner and I met here with some friends for the first time and the staff were all lovely. They informed me of what was and was not vegan on a shared vegetarian platter and let us take our time getting through it all. Can't wait to go again (and get even more cauliflower)!

Everything was excellent. I look forward to the next time.

Delicious food, great service! The lighting could be turned up a notch,that's my only criticism.

The waitress didn’t greet us with a hello. She greeted us with what can I get you to drink. Super strange way to introduce yourself. Food was inauthentic and tasted like the exhaust of grill/ broiler they’ve used to cook the chicken. It’s been almost a decade since I’ve been to Nuba but this was not something I’d come to. It seemed to attract many people so some people like it. It wasn’t for me.

Fantastic food and great for groups. Excellent, knowledgeable and friendly service!

The food is really great here and the staff are very nice! One thing however is that the ladies washroom needs work - first it was quite dirty. Also it just needs sprucing up with some thing! Lastly, the stall doors are difficult to get by - someone should look at how that can be improved.

Food is fantastic, we ordered 6 share plates and ate tapas style. Love the ambiance and the fresh food.

so much love the Nuba. Love them even more as I left my water bottle there and they actually kept it for me!
