great table overlooking the river; very kind servers; terrific food; great wine list; were seated at 5 PM, very quiet and serene, it got noisy later, just as we were finishing dessert, but that's good - it means people are coming to eat here; my only downer is the maitai was too smarmy and sweet at the bar - better to stick with the classic rendition; overall a superb evening.
We had dinner on the patio overlooking the Noyo River and the mooring basin. Sights included blue herons, harbor seals, fishing boats heading out as dusk turned to dark. Dinner was delicious! Grilled salmon, rack of lamb, gnocchi alfredo. Desserts were outstanding! Peach/raspberry cobbler, mocha layer cake. Super friendly servers. Busy restaurant but a very relaxed dining experience. By far the nicest restaurant in Fort Bragg. Perfect place for a special evening with family or friends.
Food was good--- just waited over an hour to get served after being seated and putting in order.
We LOVE every single detail about this place! Highly recommend for an exquisite meal. Worth every penny!
Very pleased with the food and service from Noyo Harbor Inn Restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Beautiful refurbished Inn, beautiful views, lovely surroundings and patio, great for a romantic evening or a wonderful time with family. Food is worth the price, we all need a special occasion every now and then, make reservations. Definitely plan to return.
Wonderful, fresh food, attentive service.
The food was delicious and nicely portioned. The staff were very attentive. The view of the harbor was beautiful
It was our first time to Noyo Harbor. We did not know what to expect. We sat on the lovely patio at the rail overlooking the harbor. Nice view of the harbor and the beautifully restored Craftsman style building. Setting was 5 stars. And so was the service from our young waitress and her assistants. They were knowledgeable about the food and attended to everything without being bothersome. And they were enthusiastic which made us feel welcome.
The fresh King Salmon entrée came on a wonderful bed of cumin herbed couscous. Salad was a wonderful blend of greens, fruit and very fresh tasting goat cheese. House baked bread. First time eating upscale in Fort Bragg and we got lucky. Also, nice selection of local wines at prices with less markup than we are used to in the SF Bay Area. Very nice to not insult your guests with 300% to 400% markups over retail. More restauranteurs should learn that lesson and they would be better off.
We would go back next trip north. Try Noyo Harbor if you are in Fort Bragg.
One of our favorite places for brunch. Excellent service, terrific views, fun cocktails, a menu with varied choices and delicious food.
This place was really enjoyable! Great setting, very relaxing and the food was quite delicious and fresh.
The Lobster and Filet Mignon was on point, great view and great service.
Great food. Great service. Great ambiance. Brought family with me this time and everyone loved it! Will be back!
Great experience, on a beautiful day over the marina and river. Excellent service, food was great (fish & chips, Caesar salad). Indoor restaurant and bar looked great (we were outdoors). Beautiful art on the walls. Definitely will go back.
Delicious. Fish dishes wonderful. Flavorful flat iron steak. Nice dining room decor.
Amazing food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back!!
Food was fantastic! The Deviled Eggs with Bay Shrimp and White Truffle Oil were very good and come with some mixed greens. We had the Seafood Pasta, one of the evening’s specials, and it was amazing. Good drinks and nice wine list. We will definitely be back.
Every table (just about) has a great view... except that they put the two of us in a small room with a large, noisy party of 10 and it was deafening. Although we had reservations, there were no other tables inside or out except for the one table behind the hostess with no view whatsoever. Nonetheless, we moved there. My husband's seared halibut was very good and so was the cobbler. The brussels sprouts I had were too greasy and pungent. The deviled eggs with shrimp too bland. The chowder was decent. Service was very good. I think if we had had the view that we were expecting, it would have made up for the so-so food, but we'll never know.
Lost a star for service but food was great
Perfect evening out for dinner in all respects. Our waitress Laura
was the icing on the cake. Best halibut we ever had!
Best place to dine out in Fort Bragg/Mendocino. The river view and the restaurant's ambiance are hard to beat. Every item we ordered was excellent.
Beautiful gardens and property topped off by a wonderful meal in a lovely setting. Great service and delicious food in a beautiful place.
especially on a sunny afternoon, the views were superlative; lovely place to be; a small heaven.......
Quality food and even better service in a beautiful setting!
We were in Ft Bragg for the Skunk Train and were delighted to find this gem overlooking the harbor- craft cocktails, extensive wine and beer list, delicious appetizers and main courses. Very comfortable out on the terrasse with heat lamps for dinner.
I had the clam chowder soup and a Caesar salad. The soup was good but not great. The salad was a bit small and had some brown (not much) on the leaves. When you pay $13 for a small Caesar salad (no protein) it should be clean and neat.
The view on the back deck was awesome.
Great service, food and view! Fresh fish and the yummiest piece of pecan pie!
Not the same as the last time I was there food was lacking flavor and some of it was cold.
Very tasty, great service and beautiful views.
Interesting wine list and great entrees. Beet salad was a bit of a disappointment but we ordered in the wrong season. Great service and nice view of the harbor/marina.
Clean, modified white linen service per CV19 protocols. Pleasant staff, fairly well coordinated wait staff; varied menu; allows 'minor' menu modifications if you have dietary restrictions; lovely atmosphere and aesthetics no matter where your table is located.
Have eaten there many times. The food is always excellent as well as the service and ambience. We love to eat outside on the deck overlooking the Noyo Harbor.
Every time we visit Caspar, we make a reservation for the Noyo Harbor Inn restaurant. The food, drinks and ambiance is exceptional!!
We have eaten here before and always enjoyed it. This time, it took over half an hour before our drinks were delivered and our order taken The scallops I had were ok but the risotto was not seasoned AT ALL and the presentation was very beige - some chives or something green would have been appreciated. I had to keep putting salt on it to find any flavor. My husbands flat iron steak had gristle running through it.
Perhaps due to Covid, they are having problems, but we were very disappointed.
Thoroughly enjoyed our server John, very personable and attentive. Our beverage selections were delivered in short order as were our salads, but there was a significant delay before our entrees arrived which was perplexing given the relatively light crowd. Otherwise our entrees and dessert were excellent and we very much enjoyed the evening. We’ll definitely return if in the area.
Great dinner and service lovely evening our for us
Lovely evening on the patio. Great view.
The food was delicious, the view was wonderful and the outdoor seating created a wonderful romantic atmosphere. My only critique would be that our server was not very responsive and when we were ordering he seemed annoyed.
My husband and I arrived about one hour ahead of our reservation so we enjoyed the bar. The young man behind the bar was very friendly, efficient and quick in keeping up with orders. We met another couple also celebrating their anniversary. We very much enjoyed the scallops and lamb. Disappointed the pork was gone and only one dessert left when asked. When I made the reservation the site asked if any special occasion. I put in anniversary but no mention was made of this all evening. No point in asking the question if there is no follow up. But, we will definitely eat here again. Sitting out over the harbor was lovely.
My wife and I had dinner on the deck overlooking Noto Harbor. Food was excellent as was the service. They had run out of a few menu items by our late reservation time but their dpecials made up for it. Will definitely return.
