Great restaurant with super good good and service!
Disappointed with the quality of the food. We went for brunch on Mother’s Day. Service was good, drinks were good but the Food was just subpar. The Eggs on my Benedict were cooked all the way through and the hollandaise sauce was broken. The potatoes were not as advertised and they were just chunks of russet potatoes unseasoned and bland. My wife had a polenta cake with poached egg and the same broken hollandaise. My daughters French Toast however was delicious. Not giving up on them yet as we have had some great meals there in the past.
Delicious food that tastes fresh and is delivered promptly. Friendly helpful wait staff was kind enough to shift our designated table when they realized we had a handicapped elderly parent with us.
Terrific food and staff! We'll certainly dine here next time we're in the area.
Service and view were delightful
Best Brussels Sprouts ever! Everything was fabulous, very romantic.
THIS restaurant never fails to impress. The atmosphere, the quality of the dishes and the service are the best. Even on a very crowded Sunday Brunch, we were not aware of being rushed nor did we wait too long for our meals and drinks to arrive. Unsurpassed.
Great service, great food…as always.
BEST view--breathtaking! Best gin martini EVER! Attentive, professional, personal service. DELICIOUS food! Nice variety to the menu.
The food looked so promising on the menu, but while the presentation was fine, the food was absolutely horrible. We had to send back two entrées. The fish was not cooked through on one and the other one had mushrooms all over it when that was not
described for that entrée. The appetizers were mediocre at best. We came to find out that the executive chef was not there that night nor was the manager. Apparently it was a free-for-all in the kitchen. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We had fish stuffed with crab, delicious. Salad with fried brie, marvelous. Fried brussel sprouts, very nice. I had a fancy mojito and my partner a nice pinot. We had a great time outside under heaters, watching the seals and enjoying the lovely river.
Destination grounds and gardens and excellent food. However, the service our last 2 visits has left much to be desired. On both occasions service was slooowwwww, even waiting to receive our bill. Most recently, I ordered a beer with lunch which did not arrive until after our meal was served, and only then because I reminded the waiter of the order.
Is there a staffing problem?
quality of food excellent, good varieties and beautiful ambience
Beautiful gardens and harbor view. Liked the blackberry mimosa.
Food was delicious but the experience was ruined by it taking over an hour to get our meals. No drinks for 25 minutes after being seated. This was with a reservation.
Food and drinks was excellent. It has now been added to my favorite restaurant list.
We thoroughly enjoyed our happy hour/dinner on Monday 4/19. We had the deviled eggs, clam chowder, bruscetta with mushrooms and cheese. We had burgers and cesar salad. The prawns were suppose to be "grilled" on the cesar, but were really poached. The cesar dressing could have had more garlic, lemon and anchovy. A bit bland. I squeezed some lemon on plus salt and that improved the depth of flavor. We really enjoyed the setting. We saw a sea lion floating in the harbor. The weather was beautiful. The servers were top notch! We will come back!
I recently sat on the patio with my husband and another couple. The view was lovely, the restaurant was pretty and clean, and the food was excellent. There seemed to be a problem with either understaffing, the ordering system, or both. I completely understand that issues with staffing occur, as well as glitches in electronic systems. However the comically long gaps in service along with zero communication as to what we might expect left something to be desired. At one point it was explained to us at the end of the meal, after one person waited around 20 minutes to get their meal after the rest of the table was served, that it was due to a glitch in the ordering system between wait staff and the kitchen that had occurred twice. It would have been preferable to have that glitch immediately explained to the table as well as maybe using a pencil and paper once you know the system isn’t functioning properly. I think it has been overestimated how important prompt communication is. Its ok for things to go wrong, just please be upfront about what to expect.
The service and food was amazing. The location perfect. Could recommend for date night or dinner with friends.
We had a dining experience we don’t care to repeat. When my husband ordered his meal, he discovered there were scallops in his dish. He is allergic to scallops which when eaten causes his throat to close. Fortunately he discovered them before he ate them. The scallops WERE NOT suppose to be in the dish he ordered. We were shook up told the server who was apologetic and reordered his meal. The new meal was delivered and again had scallops!! We told the server who was horrified and was apologizing profusely when she ordered the meal for the third time. When my husband got his third meal of Petrale Sole it was full of bones and the rest of the plate was cold . In the meantime my meal and my daughters was lukewarm as we were trying not to eat before my husband got his meal. This was a birthday celebration for my husband and I which was a total disappointment. I’m grateful that he saw the scallops before he ate them or it could have turned out very differently. Why would scallops be in a meal without being listed in the description on the menu and then to do the same mistake with the second meal was unbelievable. They did comp his meal (without us asking) but that did not make up for the terrible evening. In closing the food my daughter and I had was very good and our server was very attentive but if you have a food allergy inquire about what you order just in case! We won’t be going back to this restaurant again!
Everything about the Noyo Harbor Inn is perfection.
The food was excellent and very generous portions. The view of the Harper was great! Pricing was a little above average. The service with a little bit slow but acceptable. Enjoyable evening
Love the atmosphere. Too much fish and mushrooms for my husband and I. More starters would be good. LOVE the brussel sprouts!!
I'm a local and find this restaurant always a very pleasant dining experience. It's our go-to place for that reason.
We really were hoping this experience would be exceptional because the ambience and the view were. However, service was very poor. Our server would disappear for long periods of time and it took way too long to get our drinks. One in our party ordered a beer and it never arrived. From the moment we sat down till our entrées arrived was one hour and 45 minutes. The server came to the table and apologized and said the kitchen was slammed but offered no resolution. Four people at our table ordered the hanger steak and it was very tough. One person ordered the lamb and thought it was good as was the salmon entrée. The soup lacked flavor even with the addition of crab. Wines were nice. Our bill was $534.01 which considering the overall service experience was shocking. Doubt we will return.
We really enjoyed it food was great service was great thank you
Definitely worth going for the food. Not only was it delicious, it was beautifully presented. Unfortunately, however, the service was really poor: Never checked in with us, did not refill water glasses until the end when we could track him down (even then had to ask twice), charged us more for a drink than price shown on menu, and not particularly friendly.
Very disappointed with the service and quality of the food. We were expecting fine dining food and service but it fell short.
Everything about our dinner was wonderful and we cannot overstate how perfect the service was. Thank you for a delightful evening.
Our first Sunday brunch at Noyo Harbor won't be our last; it was sooooo good! From eggs to crab to coffee to the outstanding service, we can't rave enough about our experience.
We had a birthday celebration going on and there was extra, special attention to this event as well as just a friendly, courteous welcome and ambience.
Our stay was pleasant and the rooms were spacious and clean. Fantastic view and puppy friendly! We had a bonfire on the beach below. Very convenient location and the fog horn adds to the atmosphere.
The restaurant overlooked the harbor and the food was impeccable. This restaurant is simply the best!
Ambiance on the patio was great - we enjoyed the view of the harbor, the lighting and music, and the heaters. The menu had good options, but the food was executed "only okay" for the price. Given the number of restaurant options in Fort Bragg and on the coast, I would have expected higher quality or lower price point for the meal.
Lunch at the NHI is always a treat. Great service.
Great atmosphere. We love the outdoor balcony sing. You get a view of the river and the boats And the harbor. The food was great! And the service was friendly. The people there more a mix of local and tourist. Will come back again!
There's no better place to dine on the north coast! The food is always perfect; we had our favorite waitress; and you can't beat the view up the river.
We were warm and comfy and so happy to be having our first sit down restaurant meal!

The menu was very diverse and interesting and the food was delicious. However, my companion and I had pretty poor service. Started out fine, but it took forever for the food to come out. My companion ordered fish and chips and when it came to the table it was barely warm to the touch. The waitress re-ordered the fish and chips and the second time it came out piping hot.
I ordered the sea scallop appetizer, which was so good. But I asked the waitress for bread to mop up the delicious sauce and she totally forgot. For my second course I ordered a salad, which was also good. I asked again about the bread and it took 10 minutes to get to my table. After dinner I ordered a decaf coffee and it took a long time and when the coffee came to the table it wasn't hot. After the problem with the fish and chips I would think the waitress would have been hyper-attentive to our table to make sure everything went smoothly after the cold food.
All in all, the food was good and the atmosphere was beautiful. Need better management for the front of the house so the service matches the kitchen's delicious creations and wonderful atmosphere. I paid good money and expect the service to be better.
Service was a little slow but the food was delicious
We always enjoy Noyo Harbor Inn for a special occasion dinner, a relaxing happy hour or to share our favorite spot with friends. If you sit inside you are enveloped in luxurious wood panels, an intimate dining space and excellent, museum worthy art masterpieces. Outside on the deck overlooking the Noyo River and a working harbor, the views of are spectacular. Harbor seals delight when playing with each other right below your table. Sea and shore birds are there to entertain with their acrobatics and chattering. The comfortable ambiance invites you to hang out for that second glass of wine or signature cocktail and maybe another helping of a small plate. Simply a great place. Don't miss it.
Food was good, my family enjoyed it. Service was rather bad. Waited 20 and had to flag someone for our drinks. The place wasn't even busy.
