Wonderful setting super nice waitress and delicious food.
Boyfriend’s birthday and also a guest at the inn
We had a wonderful dinner. The food, service, and view were great. I would return. Beware of the markup on their wines, though. I paid $40 for a bottle the night before at a different restaurant and the same bottle here was $59. That's quite a markup.
Very nice outdoor dining. Many levels and excellent landscaping. Due to covid and all there were not many choices I booked through website and it did not say it was happy hour only until 5:30. The limited menu was nice. We got the hummus plate. Drinks were reasonably priced. Actually we have been to the area many many times and were not aware of this property. So excited to find it. We will return for dinner.
This was the BEST dinner that I have had in a very long time. Outstanding!!!
This was our second time back because we were impressed the first time we were there with friends. The 2 appetizers and 4 dishes we shared were amazing, cooked with so many fresh ingredients and everything was so rich and delicious. We tried everything from salmon, pork, pasta and salads and every single bite was to die for! This time around we had drinks which were done just right, refreshing and not too strong. Food portions are generous and the service was quite nice as well. We will definitely recommend to all our friends and will be back again!
Beautiful garden, wonderful service, excellent food, great views
We went arrived hoping for lunch but were offered the happy hour menu. Reluctantly we decided to stay and were directed to a lovely patio area overlooking the Noyo Harbor. The food was excellent, fresh and delicious. The ambience was perfect. The service was non-intrusive and excellent. A lovely osprey eyed us from a ship's mast. A delightful afternoon.
We ate on their former parking area, which they've turned into a nice outdoor dining area. Felt safe and enjoyed the great view!
Service and food was great. Everyone was helpful, polite and working hard to make things as normal as can be.
Had a wonderful dinner on the patio overlooking the Harbor. The food and Drinks were great and the ambiance is unbeatable.
There were no tables on the terrace, so we chose to dine in the garden. I’m glad we did. It was a very quiet and peaceful. Service was great. It was a very relaxing experience.
Excellent food and setting
We had a lovely dinner overlooking Noyo Harbor. This is our second year in a row celebrating my birthday at this restaurant. They did a great job of making us feel comfortable even though the staff had to wear masks. Everyone was very friendly.
Food was amazing. Ourdoor seating was very nice. Area super clean, view appealing. The tables were closer together than we were comfortable with. Service friendly but with a few mishaps-our appetizer wasn't ready before our meals, we asked for one port and got two. Nothing earth-shattering, a very pleasant experience overall, but it was very expensive and would expect the service to match the charges.
Delicious food. The view is spectacular. Service started out good. After we got our food no one came back to check on us. We were cold and hoping someone would light the outdoor heater for us.
Outdoor dining overlooking Noyo Harbor and river. Quiet, comfortable with no pressure to hurry. Seals, cormorants and grebes float by as you dine. The menu is brunch oriented, very creative. We especially enjoyed the Alsatian Bread and Seafood chowder. The wine list is composed of local Anderson Valley and Yorkville Highlands vintages. The Noyo Harbor Inn and Tavern is beautifully designed and built, the interior is craftsman style done in vertical grain local fir. The patio is multi level surrounded by beautiful gardens, very tranquil. An ideal lunch spot when in the North Coast
Great food and lovely harbor view. Gracious service.
Even with social distancing this is a wonderful place to sit outside, enjoy the views and eat amazing food. They had great service and welcomed our dog with his own bowl of water. Very friendly staff.
This was our first time at Noyo! It’s was just amazing and we will return! The rooms were lovely, tub, fireplace and the views of the harbor where awesome! The staff is very friendly and helpful during such a strange time of unease in our travel. We felt very safe and that our health was important to them,as well as their own. We had a marvelous dinner and brunch before we left at the Noyo Tavern. We ate outside with lovely views of the harbor. Such a tranquil environment with pristine gardens and grounds.
We ate there for lunch..my friend hadn’t been there for many years..it was a delight and everything was delicious..great wait staff.. we’ll go back...
We ate here for both breakfast and dinner for our anniversary weekend. At breakfast my husband had the almond brioche French toast with apricots, it was delicious. I had the polenta cake with mushroom, peppers, green onion and a poached egg on top and spring greens on the side, and really enjoyed every bite. Dinner was flat iron steak for him and roasted duck for me. These were also enjoyable, but I admittedly loved breakfast more. We took dessert to go, the goat cheesecake was lovely, and hubs really liked his chocolate pot de creme. Staff were awesome and helpful. We ate both outside on the deck, evening was a little chilly but they lit the heaters and that worked well for us.
The food was very bad. Lamb was overcooked to medium well and the bread pudding tasted like raw eggs.
The service and ambience was wonderful.
We are local to the NHI and have enjoyed our dining and bar experiences many times. This latest visit on 6/26/20 was no exception. We chose to be seated on the deck with the view of the Noyo River moorage. The menu often has changes. My wife had the Chicken Marsala and I ordered the gnocchi—both excellent.
I like the menu, the views, the setting along the river. Perfect place to celebrate or have a wonderful meal...with friends, family or alone.
Loved the food and service. It's a hidden gem and will definitely be back. The good is a great value for what you get and the drinks were yummy and we'll priced. The views were unique to this area and were beautiful. Chef did a great job accommodating my dietary requirements. Staff were pleasant and attentive.. and it was busy!
I consider this a high end restaurant, so coming for dinner was a birthday treat. Food and service were excellent. Waitress added birthday candle to my dessert (would have been nice to have been comped as it was my birthday, but that's OK). Restaurant could have done a better job with table arrangements in the room, as we had a reservation for 2, but were forced to eat at giant table that could have easily been separated and still maintained social distancing. Was too cold to eat outside, but if returning would go in warmer weather to take advantage of harbor view.
The upscale charm of Noyo Harbor Inn and Restaurant is so well done! Not overly fancy, nor snobby! Sitting out on the deck looking out to the classic Fort Bragg Harbor is priceless!
I'm sorry to give a less than stellar review because we really like this place and reviewing at the current time (just reopened after covid shutdown) may be harsh.
The place itself is beautiful, inside and out with wonderful views of the harbor. Most of the food is delicious as was my husband's skirt steak this night. My caesar salad with crab was just OK. A slice of lemon served with my salad would have been nice. It took an incredibly long time to be waited on. Once we finally were, appetizers came without benefit of utensils or napkins. They're weren't an abundance of diners and there seemed to be plenty of staff but they were not working or being managed effectively. Only 2 waitresses seemed to be shouldering most of the burden with 3 other girls standing around smiling but mostly avoiding customer gazes. Hopefully time will improve things for the better once again.
Again, it is a lovely restaurant and views and the food is mostly quite good so right now, if you have PLENTY of time on your hands and don't mind waiting to eat or exit, go.
Excellent service, yummy food, beautiful views. Best place in town. So glad that you are back up and running!
I had reserved an outdoor table, but was seated inside. It took much longer than usual to get water and have our order taken. When I asked about French toast, I was told it wasn’t available, yet heard another server tell the table next to us that there was one order left. This was about ten minutes later. Our food was very good, and the restaurant is beautiful. We’ve eaten there many times and will definitely go back.
We are local. Overall, love this place. Love the French chef! Love their brunch! Love the happy hour. Love the various levels of the outdoor seating. Ate outside overlooking the Noyo River & Harbor. Went back for dinner after the lifting of SIP. They just reopened, new menu, server had to check a lot of stuff, wanted sparkling water and had to ask 3 or more times....but in fairness, they had a lot of diners and I think they were low on staffing. Under new management. We don't care for the new manager-he does not do anything for the ambiance-and basically is changing everything we loved about the place, get rid of him! Bring back local wines and liquor, this used to be more high class unique bar. Bring back Low Gap Rye & Kettle 1 Vodka. Otherwise, perfect evening, perfect setting, perfect food!
Food was outstanding but the service was very poor. Took us 2.5 hours for our dinner. I had to go find the server to get the bill, she was in another room chatting with two other servers.
The service and view were great. I wish the menu had better seafood options, considering it’s location, but most of the food was excellent. Dessert was underwhelming as it was offered as a apricot cobbler with a scoop of ice cream, but came without the ice cream, for which our server took 50% off the dessert for our bill. The apricots were extremely undercooked as well. We had lunch at the restaurant earlier in the day too, which was great, and stayed a couple of nights at the Inn as well. The business as a whole is a shining star in Fort Bragg.
Absolutely beautiful venue! Really good food, good service. A delightful birthday brunch! Could not have been better ♥️
I had a wonderful birthday experience at the Noyo Harbor Inn. The food was delicious with fresh fish and a very fresh salad. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and sitting out side was so refreshing. Did I mention the scenic view of all the fishing boats in the harbor?
Its so lovely. The boats and the tranquility of the river with the occasional seal or kayak.. the food is always amazing. And they have done a lot of little tasteful thing to make people concerned about covid feel safe and cared about.
I'm reasonably familiar with Fort Bragg but did not know about this gem until recently. On my initial arrival (I made dinner reservations but there also is a tavern and lodging) I found Noyo Harbor Inn clean and fresh in appearance. A look at the menu revealed fair prices. But the jaw dropping part of my visit was the view from dining room and dining patio. I won't say anymore, you'll have to see for yourself. Food was very good, staff was pleasant and efficient. I expect many more visits. And you should visit also.
Noyo Harbor Inn is a gem in Fort Bragg. The atmosphere (we ate outside, appropriately spaced from other diners) is always wonderful, and on a beautiful day, after 3 months of not being able to dine out, it was extra special. The food is always delicious and the service is always attentive and friendly. We are so happy to have them back open, and will continue to do our "social distance" dining there as much as possible.
We had a fabulous time at dinner on Thursday, opening night for the Covid slow opening process. We felt very safe and well cared for. Can't wait to return, maybe for brunch - it's such a lovely setting. Cathy
