The service and the food were excellent,
especially the filet and the wedge salad. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable.
Food quality was pretty good, but the wait for one person’s avocado toast (a simple dish) was too long. The rest of us enjoyed the brunch buffet, but initially several items were missing (scrambled eggs, French toast). Our waitress also disappeared for awhile when we were ready for our check (I’ve never understood this phenomenon.)
Brunch buffet was Meh. Service and atmosphere great. Food just very ordinary to subpar.
Great service and good food!!!
The food was not as good as the first time I went and the service was pretty slow. Not our server, but the kitchen was really slow to get the entrees out. We ended up having a 2 hour dinner bc it was so slow, which is fine if it was a 4 course meal but it was not. I'll try again, but am more weary now than I was!
We like the menu and ambience but we were seated by a loud group. The food is generally good but you don’t get much. Most people in our group left hungry. The Brussels sprouts were burnt to a crisp.
Phenomenal. Best dinner I’ve had in a long time. Oyster appetizer special and ribeye were incredible.
I had he crispy Brussels sprouts and the Novak Burger, one of the best burgers I have ever had.
Great neighborhood restaurant
Nice atmosphere excellent food. Who could ask for more?
Not everything was pork, for a change! The steaks - we had a prime rib and New York strip - were remarkable and prepared to perfection. This is 1/3 the price of The Other steak houses and actually better with a more neighborhood feel. There were many vegetarian options. The menu lacked the overindulgent sauces and creams that are so popular today, thankfully. It's a shame we didn't get dessert but we will next time. And the time after that..
Food is always great. I had meatloaf which was delicious. Tommy, our server, was just a great natural server. Evening was pleasant and fun as usual.
Great service. Good food although my husband’s burger had some room for improvement. Great cocktails and nice wine.
Great neighborhood restaurant within easy walking distance of my house. Keep up the good work!
The food was very good. The service was excellent. Amazingly, this restaurant was nearly empty at 5:30PM on a Friday.
Really enjoyed the service, location, and food. Our waitress was amazing. She gave recommendations that were spot on and made sure we were well taken care of. She was definitely an expert on the menu selections. GET THE CHEESE PLATE! If you like cheese of course. We also had the brussels sprouts which were cooked perfectly. The steak was very good, but not great in my opinion. I can say I've had better, but would still recommend it. This place is a must try at least twice place. Bring your date, bring your crew, and just enjoy the location. Looking forward to my next visit!
Went for Easter brunch and the price was $49 instead of $18. Was not worth it. Omelette and waffle station took 20 min to get through, with 1 person running the station on Easter Sunday, so part of our party was done eating by the time we sat down. Meat carving station would run out and it would take 10 min before they would be back. Spent $150 and the service was poor for charging these prices. Was not organized or ran efficiently for a holiday brunch.
The service was awesome! The GM/Chef was amazing. He welcomed us and gave great recommendations. We started off with the She-crab soup and oysters. Then we transitioned into the entree with the filet mignon and bone-in ribeye. It was to die for! We ordered the horseradish cream sauce but it was not necessary for the steak. We have already made plans to come back next week!
The food was amazing and the service was top notch
Nothing exciting just ok
Blaiss - I want to thank you for making my daughter's high school graduation luncheon such a special occasion on Saturday - We loved the ambiance of your private dining facility and it was super cool to be able to view the slide show in the room on your two TVs - Everyone on your team, Christina, Dale and Siggy, was very attentive to our needs and kept things flowing throughout the event. We also appreciated having the back room open for my daughter's friends to gather - As always the food was delish. Our guests all commented on what a great time they had - I highly recommend Nowak's private dining room for special parties - Outstanding Job!!
This was our second visit to Nowak’s and I’ll say it was the same as our first visit. Just OK. We had to send our steak back on both visits because it came out very rare when we asked for Medium and Medium well. Was really hoping the second time would have made up for our first visit but unfortunately not. We won’t be going back anytime soon unless we try out the brunch. Maybe that’s a better bet.
Great brunch spot - we had no wait (although we did get reservations), the staff was friendly and food was fantastic - LOTS for the money!
I visited for brunch. several menu options including a buffet w waffle and omelet stations. efficient service and Wilson, our server was cute 🙂 and attentive!
Brunch buffet was outstanding. Great value and delicious
A+ neighborhood restaurant that I think folks from surrounding areas should come visit as well. The Sunday Brunch Buffet is great in variety, taste, and value.
So disappointed! Always want to support our neighborhood but this was a real let down. Ordered crab cakes, steak, scallops and trout bites. Crab cakes were so thin, overcooked on the outside and not much flavor. Order medium rare steak and received well done. Steak and mashed potatoes were ice cold. Scallops were just ok. The best food part of the meal were the trout bites.
We have a winner! Over the years, I have been to this location twice when it was housing different restaurants, and now that the location is Nowak's, I think it's here to stay.
Friends told me about this place and raved. They were spot on.
We had a table of four and each of us ordered something different: lobster tail, redfish, salmon, and a NY Strip steak. We all loved our meals. My steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection–– at a reasonable price, hard to find in Atlanta for better cuts.
Service was great. Attentive but not pushy. Sides were all tasty, and the dessert was a perfect cap to perfect meals.
Do yourself a favor–– go to Nowak's!
Very nice meal, but they should offer bread for the table.
Service and food was excellent!!!
Server seemed disorganized, took a long time to bring check, couldn’t understand splitting check 1/5, 1/5, 3/5.
Brunch does not live up to dinner at this restaurant. I’d give it 4-5 stars for dinner. Buffet food was cold by the time we sat down.
Amazing steak. Cooked perfectly.
Great steak at a reasonable price. Martinis were solid as well.
Neighborhood gem. So glad we live nearby. Great wine. Great food. Always fun!
Disappointed to have made a reservation and then be seated in a nearly empty room separated from the main dining room
A most ordinary restaurant with very limited and not very appealing menu. The waiter billed their specialty the steaks but the one I had, while tasty was a thin very small rib eye. I wouldn't recommend this place when there are so many other really good places to eat in Atlanta.
Always good and dependable. Great neighborhood place.
Food was really good. Something for everyone on the menu from nice entrees to burgers. I had a oysters - great; wedge salad - great; scallop special dish - great.
A tad loud, but I'm old and everything is loud but rock n roll.
I live in the neighborhood and have eaten here many times and enjoyed it very much . This time the steak was under seasoned, sides were not hot, asked for lemon which never came. They should be ashamed for serving the asparagus ( should have been thrown out). I also wrote a message to the restaurant with no response. I guess they don’t care to hear negative comments.
