   The wait staff was wonderful. Friendly and very professional. The food is not what it used to be. Still fresh ingredients but everything was pasty and overcooked. Mousaka was a pot of mush. Which was not the case before. It was very good, authentic Greek food and Greek fusion not so long ago. Hope you can improve. We like to support our local business. PS - I knew Papa Panos back in the day and it was an honor to have met him.

   Our neighborhood home away from home ! Warm pita in a cold night and friendly servers warms the soul during tough times ;-)

   Our goto place when meeting family for brunch. Some of us order breakfast others lunch items. We stayed 2 hrs service was excellent

   Novy is a great spot! Spanikodia is outstanding, ragout terrific, salad with dates and feta is the best, and bread pudding is large enough for four people! There is outdoor or indoor seating, a sunny spot, and lots of entertainment on the sidewalks, which are full of kids, strollers, toddlers, dogs, and more. Staff are seasoned professionals who pay attention but do not rush you. Food is always served hot. Dress as you like. Happy hour Daily 3-5 with house wine & beer on tap discounted.

   The food was good but not fantastic, not for the time it took to get served and or the price. Both of the Greek wines were delicious. The flourless cake was decadent. The music did not work , it was young pop music, did not match the restaurant or the crowd.

   You should be aware that the noise level can be very high. Seated at a table with "high-voice" people on either side can require you to use your outside voices to be heard. A common occurrence at many SF restaurants.

   One of the best burgers in town! We split the burger and the Chicken Walnut Salad, and each had a 9oz glass of wine…Sauvignon Blanc for Peg, and Sangiovese for me. Novy is one of our GO TO restaurants!

    Novy always comes through! Fantastic food and service. And it's lovely when folks know you and are delighted to see you. When I have friends or family coming to town, I always suggest Novy among other options. They almost always say 'that menu is amazing!'
