We had the LI Restaurant Week prix fixe for $46 per person. Both food and service was excellent. We loved the extensive wine list by the glass.

I would say I had a bad time there but it wasn’t great. It lands on average/mediocre. That’s ok, but I have issue with that plus the price. I understand the area and we frequent waterzooi and a few other spots in the area but price is justified by taste. Here that was not the case. Possibly it’s an off night since it was Easter so maybe management or staff regulars were not working. Interior was very nice looking and well done. It’s strange that everything was so bland and lacking flavor except for the ala vodka chicken parm which was good. Even the drinks were bland lacking flavor. TLDR; maybe an off night since it was Easter but food/drinks not worth the price with other options in the area.

Excellent food and service. We received the appetizers quickly as well as the main course. However, we waited a bit longer for dessert . This is why I only gave four stars instead of five. Always enjoy lunch or dinner and will definitely return.
