Novikov Doha is located in Katara Cultural Village, Qatar’s biggest and most diverse cultural venue, which holds major art and cultural events year- round. The restaurant is in the heart of Katara’s long-awaited Katara Plaza, a mix of premium and luxury boutiques that will host performances, fashion shows and other events.

Novikov Doha will be the Japanese-Chinese fusion eatery’s second Middle East outpost. Originating in London’s Mayfair, it has expanded to top international locations, including Dubai.

Novikov Doha’s interior was carefully designed to convey the ambiance and atmosphere of the original Novikov London, from the restaurant entrance to the seafood and vegetable display, which is meant to inspire diners. It was created by the same design team that worked in London — Geometry Design by Irina Glik.

Please note our dress code policy is smart/casual and we do not allow shorts or beachwear.

    Sadly we visited during Ramadan so there is no atmosphere as it felt like a ghost town. More people appeared around 9pm in the square close to the restaurant but sadly not the restaurant itself.

    Sehr gut. Essen ist außerordentlich gut auch. Nett auch, der deutsche Restaurantleiter. Mitten in einer Mall, die aussieht wie die Münchner Maximilianstrasse. Muss man hin.

    Food was of oustanding guality. The service needs to be more up to par and in line with the food. I ordered shrimp/prawn. All I got was one meagre prawn for qr100! Outrageous. All the other dishes were great, best of all the miso glazed black cod! Even though I mentioned that one of the guests didn’t want mayonaise or onion, there was still onion in plenty of the food. Pity, and a little careless.

    Your staff helped make the night special for my brother. I’m living away from my family so I appreciate the birthday desert. I would like to thank both to your Turkish staff in Doha and all the other staff as they all treated us well.

    Bathroom was very average for such a high end restaurant. Value was definitely below average Dimsum was good bit the filling and dough would fall apart Sushi was good but again, not mind blowing and definitely not matching the price point Veggies and dip were great.

    Service wasn’t good overall. Worst part was that I made a special request to for a surprise celebration over dessert and the waitress blew it. The tables were too close to each other and no attempt was made to distance the guests in compliance with covid 19 guidelines. The food was good as always, but I think I’ll opt for home delivery next time.

    Excellent food and service. Atmosphere inside is great, but we sat outside and the terrace was just too quiet with no music or much light. Watch out when ordering the duck!! It was deceiving and too small. Nothing like we are used to in Europe.. and they didn’t really make that clear on the menu, but certainly charged for a full big fat duck!! Overall great restaurant

    I have been going toNovikov Doha since it opened on a regular basis both with my wife and in a group. The food has always been excellent and we have enjoyed the quality/standards of food. The service however has consistently deteriorated since Novikov Doha has opened. 20 minute wait from being seated to be offered a drink. Food coming out at different times so people do not have their food while others are eating. When their food eventually comes out the rice/noodles are cold. We really enjoy Novikov Doha but cant help but feel they have taken their focus off their service which is a common theme for the last 3/4 visits.

    What amazing food and service. We sat outside where the area was air conditioned via the floor. We ended up having 3 courses although we originally went for a snack as it was such a lovely location and ambiance. Salmon sushi and desserts were amazing.

    Some items were not available we couldn't have our favorite starter which is tacos and for the starter the fried shrimp very bad idea

    Third time here ! same service ! they just don’t care !! booked by open table for 5 outdoor , when they call same day morning I asked to change table to inside , they confirm ! when I came today she said no fully booked and ur reservation outdoor take it or leave it ! I would never came to Qatar branch again !! wish I can give no stars !
