Novello Restaurant & Bar
For old world charm, dine indoors. For a tropical "Addison Mizner" feel, opt for a table on the patio. Order a bottle from their well stocked wine cellar as you peruse the menu. An Italian Super Tuscan, Moscato, Montepulciano D’Abruzzo or Chianti by the bottle or the glass sets the mood.
At Novello, we suggest that you dine like an Italian...share!

I am going to try and make this quick. I am Italian and eat at an Italian restaurant almost every Saturday. This restaurant is nice and kind of quaint, tables are small and a little too close together. The prices are a bit high especially the drinks. Most meals come with potatoes and vegetables, to substitute pasta is $8.00, the waiter said it’s fresh. Stop, remember I’m Italian and this is an Italian restaurant. Do me and your other patrons a favor, forget fresh buy De Cecco pasta and don’t charge anything. Hello you are an ITALIAN RESTAURANT, PASTA is Italian not potatoes and vegetables. I had to have the chicken parm because it included pasta. I wanted spaghetti garlic and oil $4.00 up charge. There are at least 10 Italian joints in this immediate area. The food was excellent but this will be our last time here, no one else had availability, I can see why this place did.
Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
Delightful experience from the personal service to the menu selection to the delicious food.
Excellent food and service .
Every time awesome, delicious and very friendly.
We always love to dine here. The food and service are fabulous. Outstanding is the fish cooked in Kosher Salt. No SALT taste at all. You are not pressured at this restaurant. It is truly a great experience in either room. Many people also option to eat outdoors
Enjoyed the meal
Good wine list. Good friendly service. Very good appetizer and choice of main.
Consistently delicious food and exemplary service.
love sitting in the piano room while enjoying the fine food and service.
Beautiful atmosphere with so so service and food. Quite overpriced. Might be romantic, but other better places in the area.
Never disappoints. Marco is terrific and the service is outstanding. Excellent dishes and consistent. Nice wine selection. One of my faves.
Another happy experience at Novello’s. My son and his new fiancée were in town and I chose this restaurant since it has always been good. My son and I both had the veal chop which was outstanding and the Dover sole was good as well. Also, the wine list continues to provide a full array at fair prices for a quality restaurant.
For a Thursday the crowd was light resulting in almost too much service!
There was one minor disappointment. The espressos (all three) were not good and it was fortunate that we were given complementary limoncellos which did a good job of restoring our palettes to a happy state.
Everyone employee we encountered was delightful, efficient, and effective.
The food was served as it was ordered and we all thought our choices were delicious.
We sat on the patio — just a great evening.
We went there with recommendation from friend, outstanding dinner, love this place!
Food was okay but not special. The place was pleasant and the service was outstanding.
Service is always perfect and food is better.
One of best places we have eaten in boca or delray. Sat outside which wAs beautiful and quiet enough to converse. Very friendly and timely service. All dishes were excellent. Best canolli Ive had in long time
Food was decent. Waiter was very unprofessional. Owner was rude and I made inappropriate comments. . Have dined there many times but will not go back!
Always a delicious meal with excellent service. Marco, the owner, makes you feel very welcome. Consistently a great experience. One of our favorite restaurants.
Limited menu, all dishes done so well. The atmosphere is also low key, charming with piano player.
The shrimp parm was outstanding. The Branzino baked in salt available in very few restaurants in South
Florida (first enjoyed by my wife and I in Brazil) was marveled at by our friends who had not been to Novello before.
Service was terrible. Took forever for food but food was excellent. Also found it ridiculous that a credit card was required for a reservation
Very enjoyable. Nice wait staff. Great food.
Poor service . Entrees were not as requested. A very expensive dinner with an awful result. Off our dining list permantly
Amazing food with an amazing environment. It was raining and the Owner Marco came out to my car with an umbrella to get my 2 month old daughter out of the car so she didn’t get wet. He was extremely friendly and came over to our table a few times throughout the night. We got to talking about what part of Italy he’s from and what part my family is from. Overall very nice conversation. Would highly recommend. Definitely 10 out of 10!
Outstanding food, service and ambiance. Can’t wait to dine there again!
Nice restaurant but overpriced. Food was not great and prices were very expensive. Wouldn’t go back
Very nice experience
Novello has become our favorite local restaurant. The food and selection of menu items is excellent, the staff is eager to please and attentive.
Location is good, but be sure to slow down a bit as you approach as it is set back a bit from Federal Highway.
The service was very good, the atmosphere made our dining enjoyable and above all, the food was served piping HOT! A very nice surprise. We will return very soon.
Food was very good. Very busy and very noisy. Not enough wait staff- our poor waiter was doing triple duty besides waiting on us.
Went here for lunch with a few friends. We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze and shade while dining on delicious food with wonderful, friendly service. The owner always comes by to say hello and check on the guests which is a nice touch. It’s always a pleasure eating here as the menu is diverse, the prices are reasonable, portion sizes are perfect and service is wonderful!
Somewhat limited menu with not a lot of fish options. We started with Cesar salad- the dressing was pretty tasteless- no hint of garlic. The livornese sauce was good but portions were moderate. The side of vegetables was minimal and the roast potatoes were
Not seasoned well. They should offer a side of pasta OR potatoes ( this is an Italian restaurant !). This is where the old Renzo’s used to be. Renzo’s was far tastier and had more choices. There are better Italian restaurants around- we are not coming back.
Will never return; the owner approached me at the table after our meal and asked what I was doing with ‘these old men’. He came on to me in front of my husband and friends. Totally unacceptable besides being extremely embarrassing for all!
Overall it’s good food in a family like restaurant. No glitz but solid cooking.
Outrageously expensive. No information on price if the “specials” which turned out to be $60 for fish. Waiter ignored my wife’s request for me to order first and insisted that she order first and ignored me when I tried to order. So rude. Over $400 for 4 people and we had tap water. Food was decent but WAY overpriced. Huge disappointment.
Exceptional across the board. Good food, good service, a very pleasant start to my weekend...
Food and service were awesome! Went for lunch and can’t wait to go for dinner.
