Novello Restaurant & Bar
For old world charm, dine indoors. For a tropical "Addison Mizner" feel, opt for a table on the patio. Order a bottle from their well stocked wine cellar as you peruse the menu. An Italian Super Tuscan, Moscato, Montepulciano D’Abruzzo or Chianti by the bottle or the glass sets the mood.
At Novello, we suggest that you dine like an Italian...share!

Incredible service and food. The owner treats you like family and Roland our server was just awesome. We came for our anniversary and we couldn’t of had a better experience. Don’t look anywhere else, just go!!!
Beautiful pasta, great service. We’ve been looking for a good Italian restaurant in the area and this is it
Excellent choice for a wonderful Father’s Day celebration. Can’t wait to go again. Food and service were outstanding
Restaurant is amazing. Service and ambiance perfect. Food fresh and delicious. And Marko tops it off making us feel like we have the place to ourselves! Highly recommend❤️
The owner of the restaurant and the servers are warm and cannot do enough to please the guests. The food is made t order and they kindly make changes as requested. Friday and Saturday night there is an outstanding piano player who plays quietly woh jazz and show tunes and classics. We highly recommend Novello. It is a special experience.
Everything we ordered was delicious. The owner and wait staff are all very attentive and anxious to please. And courtesy after dinner drink and cookies were a nice touch.
Love Novello best Italian in Boca and Delray for sure!
Warm comfortable environment
Very good. Great service. Very good food.
Food ,service, and ambiance was exceptional .Prices were very compadable with other restaurants. I have been to the best of restaurants in Boca this is definitely one that I will highly recommend to anyone. Definitely a neighborhood gem .
I wanted a special restaurant for our 31 st wedding anniversary and we found it here. We were welcomed by Marco as if we’d been here many times. The ambience was old world warm and comfortable. My octopus appetizer was enough for dinner and the best i’ve ever had. Then came the presentation of my salted covered branzino which was tender and tasty. The bread was crunchy. My husband had the huge veal chop which he like as well. Next time I’ll save room for dessert. We did have a toast of limoncello (complementary and some yummy cookies) . Next time we get the cappuccino and delicious looking desserts I spied across the way. Oh the entire staff was so gracious too.
First time at this restaurant. Saturday night 7:30 and only 4 tables occupied. There is another side & outside as well, I don’t know how many people were over there.
We both ordered the special, which was Maine lobster tails 2 cut in half & 2 shrimp, over pasta. The lobster was stuck in the shell, which means they are old!
We were not asked if we wanted Parmesan over the dish. We opted out of desert. When the bill came the dish was $ 56.00 each. We have dined in some really upscale
restaurants and this definitely isn’t one of them. That price was definitely over the top even if the tails were fresh, they were only about 3-4oz each & 2 medium shrimp.
We will not return, too many good restaurants in this town.
We dined outside on the patio and experienced a very pleasant dinner. Our waiter and the owner or manager were very friendly and provided excellent service. The food was very good and the portion sizes were perfect.
Food was excellent from beginning to end. Service was professional.
The only downside was noise. A small packed room with had surfaces is no place for a piano. The pianist would play, so diners increased their volume and then he would play louder...back and forth until it was a steady 85-90 decibels (I checked). That’s lawn mower territory.
Gave it a second shot and found prices not in keeping with delivery. Everything was "good" but nothing really shined... and not at the mostly low-mid $30's prices. Nothing bad to say and the owner is attentive, which means something to us. A nice evening with good wine and good food and good service. If the prices were in the mid $20's it would have been worth the 1/2 hr drive. Once we're into the 30s, our expectations jump... a lot.
We enjoyed our evening - the place is small and located in the back of a strip mall. But we found the food and the wine to be very good! I had the ravioli and my friend had the veal - and shared the tartufo for dessert. Service was slow at times but it seemed that was because they were understaffed. We would go back if we found ourselves in that area.
Everything that came out of the kitchen was very impressive - veal francese, baked salmon, veal cutlet with arugula and tomatoes, caesar salads all excellent. Service was good, and Marco was as congenial a host as you could ever want to have. We were delighted to have tried it and would be happy to come back often.
Celebrated our daughter's Birthday.
Marco made us feel special and we had a lovely evening. The Branzino baked in salt and served tableside was fantastic!
Meeting friends for dinner. We had a great evening. The food was delicious & service was great too.
Always enjoy dining at Novello. Pleasant ambiance, courteous host and wait staff, delicious food!
As always food was delicious. Recommend the piano room. Love the little cookies at the end of the meal.
Been here quite a few times and food and service never disappoint.
Delightful restaurant and excellent food. The pear stuffed pasta was likely the best pasta dish I have ever tried, including restaurants in Italy. Fantastic! Service was fantastic, and only downfall is that i was hoping for a nice outdoor patio, and was too small, and overlooking the parking lot with road maintenance happening. Other than that, everything was outstanding.
Top level of service. The owner really cares and makes you feel so welcome. The meal was spectacular.
The owner/manager was enamored with my wife and it bordered upon inappropriate.
The food was fairly good but the specials were completely overpriced.
The Pasta Primavera was $33 ( this is usually one of the most inexpensive dishes) and the Papardelle with seafood was $52. None of these prices were provided ahead of time.
The vino was quite good. We had a Chianti and a Montepulciano.
It is very tight corners. The table next to us , through no fault of their own, kept bumping into us.
The music was a nice touch and the atmosphere felt authentic.
Great dinner with great friends & we were able to have a conversation during dinner. Food was excellent & the noise level was low.
Excellent service. Very tasty cuisine. Very good wine selection.
Marco the owner and the staff were excellent. Roland was great! The food was really outstanding. Sat out on the patio. We also noticed some very unusual Italian wine. It was a great night and we are sure to return.
This is good Italian food at haute cuisine pricing. The inside dining room provides a very nice atmosphere versus the outdoor and other option. The octopus appetizer, one of their specialties, was terribly overcooked or reheated so many times that the result it was an overcooked and chewy dish. It’s a shame because it was tasty and may have otherwise been enjoyable. Main courses were okay as was the service. The espresso was not good.
Everything was great but prices on the high side. Three places to sit. One inside with piano player nice but noisy, another outside great on a nice night, and another inside that's quieter. Let them know your preference.
Everything was great
Our first visit but surely not the last. Food was well prepared and delicious. Service was outstanding.
Quality northern Italian
One of my favorites
Expensive ,food was just fair ,entree of
Short rib for $44 was one star
Always great. Wonderful host. Sit as long as you like. Piano bar seating available
Everything was excellent . The octopus salad was great, the veal chop was exceptional.
The food and service at Novello is outstanding every one is treated as though they were a guest in Marco’s Home.
One of the best restaurants in Delray / Boca! Such a treat.
My bronzino was good but loaded with bones! Very very dark in the restaurant!
