Arrived - Staff totally disinterested - very unprofessional Got menu, not even offered a drink Came to order then told items not available, why they did not say when giving out menu, menu differed slightly from published menu on website Decided to go to Gnostic across the road - we had an excellent meal and the service was second to none Would not recommend this venue ever No stars

Atmosphere was great, the restaurant has a great ambience about it. Food was beautiful apart from the squid which was extremely dry. The main down side was the service, took 15 minutes for someone to take our drinks orders, after we finally got their attention to come to our table, food service was as should be, no one came to us to ask if everything was okay for us, which was very strange and finally waiting for someone to take another drink order was like pulling teeth, staff members saw us trying to call them and blatantly ignored us and turned away. Eventually we got the drinks and went on about our business. Not what you expect from a Novelli restaurant an a Marriot hotel.

This is a hotel restaurant and not a standalone establishment. Would not classify as a fine dining experience. Menu fairly limited and food ok but not standout. Servers were uninformed on menu. When asked what type of dressing was on salad, the response was "salad dressing." Nice location near water.

Service was shockinglyy bad. Our server was inexperienced and berated by the floor manager inappropriately. He did what he could , and served us vey well. Food was good, when it arrived. Well cooked fish, sides. However the service was awful. I was with my 2 sisters, all atuned to working in bars/restaurants. Will not return . Second visit too

We ate off the set menu .It was usually £30 but £43 with steak. We both had sirloin, sauce, tomatoes, mushrooms and wedges. The main meal was first class beautiful steak and sauce. The bruscetta was acceptable. The bread a little bit hard and not much flavour in the topping dessert was the same perfect edible but lacked coffee flavour. The service was fantastic and the restaurant is lovely overlooking the water. Hopefully we will be back.
