The food and service was EXCEPTIONAL as always! Homemade pasta to die for and salmon perfectly broiled. We really love Novella's ability to maintain their high level of quality mixed with the friendly neighborhood vibe.

Mixed feelings. My Orecchiette Pugliese was delicious. My wife's ricotto gnocci primivera however was not good. The gnocci's were huge, almost golf ball size and because of that, they were doughie-like & chewey. The sevrice was bad. Waiter never checked on us and had to try & find him and flag him or another staff member down if we wanted anything. They were also out of bread. Very disappointing as our last visit there was very good.

Our first visit to Novella Osteria was an outstanding experience. We prefer to dine leisurely, and our server respected that request . The focaccia bread was outstanding, a very soft inside surrounded by a firm crust. We loved our salads with strawberries and a strawberry vinaigrette. Very fitting for Spring. My husband loved his pork shank, and the polenta was outstanding. I do not care for polenta, but tasting his I was pleasantly surprised. I had the lamb ravioli, which was one of the best dishes I have had either in Italy or the US. We are planning to go back with friends and family. 5 stars to be sure!

We had an incredible dining experience at Novella Osteria. Food, wine and especially service were all A+. An absolute gem of a restaurant near downtown Powell.

It’s one of our go tos that we hadn’t been in a while! Love the new Spring menu and it will be back on rotation. Bar staff is second to none!
