Terrible drinks, food was mediocre and the service even worse. I asked for a drink and had to remind my waiter 3 times. He finally brought it out right before he brought the check. The drink was disgusting I couldn’t drink it.
I love Novecento at Brickell and felt disappointed in the one in Doral. Mediocre and slow service.
The empanadas were not fully cooked. We returned some and purchased some to go. When we got home, we realized they are raw dough
I hate giving a bad review to restaurant but I can’t really say anything positive about this place. The food was okay, service was mediocre to poor, including the worst vodka tonic I’ve ever had in my life. (How you can ruin a vodka tonic is beyond me. I asked for Grey Goose and they gave me Tito‘s. I know because it was on the bill. The Tonic was flat.)
All in all this was a one time dining experience. I won’t be going back.
The food was not great to say the least.
-We ordered a tuna tartar, which was bland, the waitress told us to pop a boiled egg that was sitting on top and let the yolk ooze out. We popped it, no yolk no ooze, no flavor.
-We had a fritta burrata, which was cold inside but warm on the outside - very off putting. Served with burnt bread and a tomato sauce which needed salt, garlic, basil, something.
-grilled provolone which was cold and difficult to cut. Noting special
My mom and I had the cannelloni which mentioned shaved ribeye, they could have just said ground beef because that’s what we got. Some Creamy unrecognizable meat stuffed inside an overly boiled noodle(not al dente what so ever- so mushy) - which neither of us liked or finished...
My stepdad had a risotto marisco, he said it was ok.
My wife had a lomito, which was served dry as a
Card board and with cold ham. Very strange.
To finish it off we had the
Tartareta de durazno or something like that. She explained a cheese cake, we got a weird custard like pannacota with peaches baked in and sprinkled with graham cracker. Absolutely disgusting. Changed it for a creme brûlée which was brown not the normal yellow cream colored custard, it was okay.
We were very very disappointed , the best part of the meal was my latte, even though we ordered cappuccinos.
We had two servers both girls were very nice.
Did I mention the ac unit was leaking on us and we had to change tables?
Anywho had to leave and grab McDonald’s on the way home after spending $160 on less than mediocre food.
very little variety, the quality of the food does not match the price.
First time going. Cynthia was a great waitress, very helpful, nice and professional. Thank you!
Been to this Argentinian restaurant for a while since the early days when they just started.
Early days this was a nice grill house. Meet was amazing, perfectly cooked, and a reason to always come back.
Today, this is more like a Latin American Argentinian TGIF. Feels like a theme restaurant these days.
Is a cheaper atmosphere, the menu is less intersecting, and the overall quality is not good. Meat is not smooth, frequently chunky, and lots of grease in the plate. To me and my other friends this place is something different. You will do better finding out other Argentinian restaurants in Miami.
buena atencion y ambiente agradable bonita decoracion
Too expensive for what we ordered. Didn’t like it for the value.
The service was excellent, and so were the wine and the ambiance. The decor is beautiful. I am giving them only 4 stars for the food because the meat we had a couple of weeks before at their restaurant in Aventura was much better, so we expected more out of this one, but everything overall was very good. We were celebrating my son's 21st birthday, he liked it very much and we had a great time.
For the price that is paid, the portions are not worth it. The menu is also very limited.
Amazing place, Amazing food. The waitress was so nice. Every was Perfect.
Great atmosphere...great food.
My first time at NOvecento and it was amazing. Service was excellent. Ambiance was amazing. Food was spectacular.
Excellent food and service!!
It's is something different in Doral. Great services
I think it’s an ok place to have brunch . I wasn’t overly impressed with the food though. It’s too bad the atmosphere is actually great
I can sum this place up in 3 words...
“I’ve had BETTER”
Whoever designed this place should be shot!!!
The poor lady has to go up three flights of stairs to bring the food. The empanadas were cold, the steak wasn’t all that, and the chicken was mediocre. My wife’s ceviche was so drowned in lime juice she couldn’t get past the halfway point. The service really sucked too to top it off!!! It took forever and they weren’t even busy. After being done eating, that the waiter took our plates it took him 10 minutes to bring the bill??? Certainly not going back, everrrrrrrr
I would not recommend it until they improved their service. I was visiting last week with previous reservation and they didn't respect my reservation at all. I was having a business dinner with abroad guests and they let us in a bad situation in from of them, making us looked like if we didn't have reservation at all. They seat us in the tables outside, even when we specified inside, where having an appetizer was the most uncomfortable experience. The chairs out there are must like a beach chair instead of a lounge ones. In top of that it was a could night to be outside and when we asked for the heaters to be turn on they just informed us they couldn't do it, don't know the reason why. They brought a hot sharing appetizer without plates and utensils, after we claimed for them, it pass like 10 mins until we got them and the food was already cold. I felt very disappointing having some guess from abroad and have them experienced such a bad situation.
Probably the best Novecento in the Miami area. Happy hour menu looks great. Meats are good. I ordered the Lomo, and had the Chicken, steak, and the ham and cheese empanadas. All were excellent, and the Provoleta was very tasty.
The Doral location is a great place for a business lunch.
Ehh... food not bad but not great.... took forever to get a Ceaser salad, and forget the actual dinner...
The empanadas were extremely greasy! The manager credited our account for the cost. They were very nice!
Steak was tough. Food was meadiocre. Staff cleaning windows during peak of evening on a Friday night and it smelled like fabulosa.
Space good, good attended, espectacular food, excellent
Amazing restaurant and amazing food . Great service. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our valentines dinner a lot here
I always go to Novecento ; unfortunately i was ripped with the wine
Overpriced following the maitre D advise ; shame on him !!!!
Todo excelente las Host súper amables
Wait staff was inexperienced. Tables on the second level, were crowded together. Food was ok.
We had made Brunch reservations for Sunday at 10:45 only to show up to find out that A. they don't serve brunch B. they don't even open until 12.
We came to celebrate our anniversary. We were able to take advantage of the happy hour. The ceviche with tostones was amazing. The server sold us on the ribeye which they ran out. We ordered filet mignon. The meat was tender and the French fries very good. At this time the device went out the drain. The servers do not work as a team. Forgot to bring more water. We were never offered dessert or coffee. I wonder if they offer either one. Very sad. Even with the owners or managers running around the restaurant. They did not pay attention to detail. Going again next week for work hopefully they learn from their mistakes
Loved going here this week. The staff still is not familiar with menu or what items are being sold. There was a little disconnect here. Also very sad that at an Argentine restaurant did not have or ran out of chorizo, desserts or coffee by 9 pm on a Saturday. Very sad as the place is nice and food was delicious.
