They didn’t have our reservation booked in despite us receiving an e mail the night before to confirm it hence no table available.We eventually got a table in the bar area not the restaurant.There was no steak available as it was sold out.We ordered 7 main meals but when the order arrived they had only cooked 6 !. On the plus side the young lady who served us was most apologetic and knocked the price of the wine we had off the bill

The beef was very dry and over cooked also the room dining area was very cold no heating on or fire lit. The pub was not busy on the day we went so this might have been the reason for no heating on.

Booked a table from this site 2 days prior to visit but the pub rang me only a hour before actual visit that they no longer do food at the time I booked for (Sunday evening) not happy considering I had travelled over 1 hour to get there!!

Nice traditional pub with friendly service and a good menu. Great to see a choice of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The pub is also dog friendly.
